Thankfully there's nothing remotely serious about Zombieland. It's just a heck of carnival attraction (Shoot the ducks/Shoot the zombies) on a roller coaster filled with laughs.

An exhilarating ride, start to finish. Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg set a high bar for this subgenre with "Shaun of the Dead," but Reese, Werner and Fleischer may have trumped them. This isn't just a good zombie comedy. It's a damn fine movie, period. And that's high praise, coming from a vampire guy.

The movie's a ride, basically. It's a slick, funny buddy-flick confection about a dork (Jesse Eisenberg), a Twinkie-loving hick (Harrelson), a hottie (Emma Stone) and a sassy kid (Abigail Breslin) who bicker and bond as they drive cross-country after a zombie plague.

The film looked good. There’s not much to say, it looked modern and pretty. The effects were good but looked CGI. The girl was pretty! It also sounded good like most modern films. It lost its way a little but was quite enjoyable. The ‘rules’ thing got a little annoying and the characters weren’t that lovable until the end. Still it passed the time and was entertaining although it is too much like a cross-breed of Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Adventureland (2009). It's pretty good and entertaining although will I remember it next week?

Une ch’tite comédie avec des zombis, comme c’est originaaaal, dites-moi…! mais ça reste vaguement divertissant et la mise en scène est très convenable. Il paraît même que ça fait rire les ados. Jesse Eisenberg le gogol de fèces bouc et sa tronche de cake excelle dans le rôle du geekoolol-gogol, Woody Harrelson est dans son élement dans la peau du taré de service et on a même droit à la momie de Bill Murray ! et l’inconnue Emma Stone est toute jeunette ici ! Plutôt léger tout cela en tout cas… et patrololol quand même, un peu comme un gerbe food de la malbouffe en somme, vite avalé, vite évacué.

A sick and stupid film. Zombieland tries to be funny but just comes across as a stupid movie with lots of gore. Nothing different then any other zombie movie except this one tries to be funny. What a shame.
