If you were already a fan of the anime series then obviously you are going to watch this. It has everything you loved from the series but over a 90 minute runtime. What's not to love?

If you watched the previous serie of 13 episodes, you won't get disappointed. The former soldier, now letter writer with mechanic hands, will be a cornerstone of how two sisters, separated by circumstances, will reconnect by means of letters. Dare to watch with no weeping. (Yep, just like holding breath under water)

It does feel a little bit like a half-hour episode stretched out into a movie but it still manages to retain the same emotional core that made the series so great.

Rewarding if you watched and liked the anime.
The quality of the animation remains sublime as well as the music and although the story didn't quite connect with me, I still think this was worth my time. I'm just hoping the next film will be more complete.
