This is a drama film with a good performance from Clive Owen (he plays the concerned/protective/angry dad very well) but its certainly a predictable plot. The dangers of younger people meeting up with people they 'discover' online has been made into numerous films. This isn't a badly made one but it doesn't really offer anything new, content wise. It felt a bit more like a one off TV drama show than a film as such I suppose but it does have good performances and I suppose it treats the topic well enough. If your very keen on Clive Owen, then I'd recommend this film but otherwise, I'm not sure.

The worst movie I've never seen, so trash. Can we make a good movie about that, yes. Please redo this one and try to make a better.

Anyone can get in the same situation nowadays. People got used to the fact that anything made online won't be punished. Especially if they use apps like Utopia p2p and stay absolutely anonymous. It's really scary how many bad things are happening especially in a deep web. Hope that there will be less such cases.

Honestly, all teenage girls must see this film. "Trust" is a serious and emotional film that you should discuss with your family. Hopefully, teens will learn something from this film after watching it.

An incredible movie which was grossly underrated. A very sensitive topic dealt with extremely honestly. Comments from other viewers, describing the movie as 'lacking suspense' and 'boring' and painful to read as the movie is so much the opposite. The ending is very honest and so much closer to people's real emotions in a trauma such as this than most films would ever dare to show.

Trust tells the story of the Cameron family and their ordeal through the toughest point in their lives. On her 14th birthday the middle child Annie receives a laptop as a gift from her mother and father. After using several online chatrooms her and a 14 year old boy named Charlie begin to grow fond of each other, after agreeing to meet up with Charlie at the local mall Annie learns that Charlie is actually a middle aged man. Charlie takes Annie to a motel and asks her to model some underwear and then **** her. After a worried friend of Annie alerts the authorities to what happened in that motel room the Cameron family slowly begins to fall apart with a depressed Annie in the middle of it all. Trust is a heart-wrenching drama that is extremely well written, preformed and directed, a film that all young people should watch and an absolutely astounding film in its own right.

Wow! Well done film. Excellent performances all around, but especially from Liana Liberato and Clive Owen; solid directorial effort by David Schwimmer as well. Good script! What a brave film! This is such a hard topic to talk about but more so to capture on film without being too preachy. This could have been a mess but director David Schwimmer does a fantastic job of holding everything together along with his excellent cast of actors. The first half of the film was absolutely fantastic...about mid way through though some plot elements came into play that almost held this film back, but the movie stayed focused and did not lose sight of what the most important element of the story was. I thought this was really good. Hopefully more people see this film as the year goes on since it seems like not too many have seen it. I think it's one of the best so far this year and has many great performances.

The film has strong moments and lots of sympathy for its protaganist. However I found some scenes to be poorly directed and the film is also quite predictable. Overall the film is very educational and a film I believe all teenage girls should see,

Everything that can happen because of the misuse of the Internet, there must be very careful, very well done story with a good message that hopefully will serve to many and many teens to think before acting, like me (who I do lots of ****

The story of a family's struggle after there daughter becomes a victim of a predator. Shockingly this film doesn't have the life lessons and sappy undertone message that most of these female victim films have. The interesting and impressive drama will live long at the top and all because the filmmakers weren't afraid to tell it like it is.

Its a good subject to tackle and it would be a good educational movie for young kids but in the end it comes across as quite boring. It lacked something, maybe suspense or something. Some parts didn't play out so well and falls flat at the end. No where near its metacritic score.

The Internet is real. Internet feel real while we're in them. It's only when we f*ck up that we realize something was actually strange. Maybe it's not great movie, must be little more edgy on acting and ending but it's really has strong message.

David Schwimmer has succeeded in portraying a difficult subject in a way that is not to mortify the audience and to bring the subject to the attention to parents. Clive Owen is outstanding as the dad unsure of what to do to cope with a family in crisis whereas Liana Liberato portrays the victim not wanting to admit to what has happend to her. As a whole the film was very pleasing to watch with superb acting and a strong storyline. This is however a film for the family and is worlds apart from Schwimmers last feature film.
