The Privilege

Much as I didn't get bored, I also wasn't hugely engaged. The film is well made on every level and I really liked the core of the story. I just felt that they could have gone much further and this would have improved the pacing. The ending was a disappointment. The bad guys really seemed to make no effort to hide what they're doing and it was no secret, even though getting caught would have been bad for them. If it had been made in the eighties this would have been so much better, e.g. Society (1989) where they went to the extreme and it was so much more entertaining. It's okay but not worth the effort seeking it out.

Bad acting of nearly all actors, maybe except the main cast like Schimmelpfennig, who is not excellent but acceptable. Story is weird at best, too slow, jump scares instead of believable horror. It's sad, but it's not worth to watch, even though it has some good scenes, that feel fresh, but the movies fails to follow up.

Points awarded for what it attempted, unfortunately everything else lacks excitement, suspense and entertainment, so...

You can watch this Movie only to know how bad a movie can be. A cheaper (a lot cheaper) version of "A cure for Wellness" with super cringe (and useless) sex scenes and nudities. Embarassing acting. The beginning was kinda promising. Then after 20 mins max it really turn into pure dog poo.
