The director ratchets up the tension slowly but assuredly, making excellent use of the atmospheric locations including London and Cairo and assuredly evoking the early '70s time frame.

A fascinating if somewhat muted spy thriller from the director of “The Iceman” and “Criminal,” Ariel Vroman.

These stories are often lost on the western world, and yet a lot of the current events in the middle east are traceable to these times and these people. If only we learned from them. The story itself is tense, as the protagonist is put in a difficult spot. Apart from that he is a intelectual among a conservative and outdated leadership that are too blind to see the truth he tries to hand them. It made for an interesting story. The ending feels a bit less impactfull then it probably should be, but i like the twist and idea behind it. This man even made some sacrifices that cost him a lot to ensure the true safety of his loved ones. Admirable and sad. I enjoyed watching this movie, it was good. I give it a 7/10.
