OBAA is about what humans become when they want to change the world, and nothing seems to be enough. You know something must be changed because the world is not quite right, but you just do not know what exactly to do. Then everything becomes an experimentation field, frustrating sometimes, glorious sometimes. Maybe all our efforts are worthy for the new generations to be conscious of our history and our legacy, and they are the ones who really can do something about it. Story superb, direction amusing, acting was no words to explain how gratifying it is to see them acting. But more than everything is to see cinematography looking for a hold on windy cliffs to keep them alive.

The acting and visuals were amazing. If you didn’t see this on the big screen, specifically, IMAX or Dolby, you missed out. The movie zipped along and I was never bored.

Brillante, con los niveles justos de humor y drama. Te invita a pensar, a reflexionar y también a reír. Si tuviera que contar de qué se trata sería difícil de explicar porque en verdad son varias líneas de historias separadas que en algún punto tienen algo en común. Cuando sentís que ya tenés armado el juicio sobre alguien, de golpe cambia y te hace dudar. Si sentías odio de repente pasas a sentir lástima y así... Y la verdad es que está tan bien hecha que fluye y realmente note das cuenta que estuviste sentado tanto en la sala. Increíbles actuaciones y efectos! La recomiendo fuertemente!

I finally got around to watching One Battle After Another. I wanted to see why critics were praising it so **** be honest, I don’t get it. The plot is bare-bones, the characters aren’t fully explored, and the themes it touches on are surface-level at best. Most of the comedy didn’t really land for me either. I also found the first 20 minutes to be awful and weird. It does get more interesting after that, but then it just has an incredibly underwhelming ending. On top of that, the film is just too long for the story it’s trying to tell.That said, it does have great visuals and cinematography, along with a really strong music score. Leonardo is great, Benicio Del Toro is a lot of fun, and Sean Penn is pretty creepy as the antagonist.Overall, the film just didn’t resonate with me.

The beginning is slow and unconvincing, watchable in the middle, but too long at the end. The film has its less-than-brilliant moments and then ruins them with poorly staged action, rambling sequences that drag on far too long, and overly emotional music. Not really worth watching.

Leonardo Di Caprio has a knack of being in great movies. But this one is just a massive letdown. I've never seen a movie were I absolutely didn't care about the characters or plotline. The movie is all over the place and doesn't seem to know what direction it's going. Plus there is a constant soundtrack to add intensity to parts that just doesn't fit.
