SummaryIn every corner of the world, there’s one question that can never be definitively answered, yet stirs up equal parts passion, curiosity, self-reflection and often wild imagination: “What is God?” Filmmaker Peter Rodger explores this profound, age-old query in the provocative non-fiction feature “Oh My God.” (Mitropoulos Films)

More benevolent than Bill Maher's snarky flick "Religulous" and a heaven-sent affirmation of our common humanity.

Some of the talking heads say entertaining or thoughtful things and some of the locations are quite exotic. But does this justify 98 minutes of screen time?

This movie just murders the competition in the documentary genre. It tells the truth about God with deadly accuracy, proving that Jesus was a Supreme Gentleman. This movie kills any hope of atheists who say that God wasn't indeed the most beautiful and nice guy in the world. People who don't like this film are disgusting buzz cut jocks and evil sex-crazed females, and I think we should destroy them if we wanna build a truly fair, pure world.

Filmmaker Peter Rodger does a fairly comprehensive job of traversing the globe in 98 minutes, posing the age-old question, "What is God?"

Compacts nearly three years' worth of globe-trotting interviews into an often visually vibrant but rhetorically muddled package. So intent on giving (almost) every perspective a fair shake that it winds up saying little of consequence.

The results are often tasteless moments, like Hugh Jackman cackling over footage of an Australian aboriginal ritual scored to techno.

The drubbing score leaves one nearly insensate to the fact that Rodgers has nothing original or even interesting to say about his subject, flattening fine points of scripture to recommend interfaith group hugs.

Hearing snoring from behind me at a screening the other day, I looked around and noticed four people had dozed off during the prettily photographed, boring vanity project that is Oh My God?

30? Really? This is a great documentary, funny, with some problems, but is funny, the celebrities that appear in this film are incredible, have much things to say, wow, I love this documentary is fantastic.
