Neon Bull is a profound reflection on the intersection of the human and bestial.

Lyrically involving and deeply sensual, Neon Bull showcases a full-bodied artist in command of his form.

Neo-Western sensível sem a principal característica de bang-bang, mas sim com dramas humanos.

This movie relies heavily on the cowboy/fashion designer dicotomy, but does so wasting every opportunity for conflict. It has no plot, which is not necessarily a problem, but way too many scenes are there just to hit the 90 minute mark. Not even the great cast and above-average photography is able to make an endless amount of cowboy scences doing ordinary cowboy stuff something meaningful or pleasant to watch.

Mascaro’s film is an auspicious, original, and absorbing work that thrills with its look into this little-seen world and the dreamers that inhabit it.

Neon Bull keeps a cinematic distance at nearly all times, seldom moving in for closeups and allowing most scenes to play out in a single shot. Whether his subjects are shoveling manure or showering down afterward, Mascaro prefers to celebrate these figures in their physical entirety.

Although the narrative risks becoming arbitrarily episodic towards the end, Neon Bull is a genuine celebration of its characters and their grounded physical life as well as their obstinate ability to dream.

The beauty of the film is undeniable, as is the cruelty of the bull's lives. (This is not a picture for animal-sensitive viewers.)

Don't waste you time! There are one or two dialogues in the entire movie that are worth seen and only that, in the entire movie nothing happends and all the characters start and end at the same point without any kind of struggle.
