Disguises, time bombs, runaway trains: Cruise, his director Christopher McQuarrie and their collaborators are very consciously working in a century-old tradition here, perhaps to show the business and art of stunning audiences can – if we choose – be much the same now as it ever was.

So what if the plot is the usual tangle to set up stunts. Tom Cruise does the impossible and nobody does it better.

This movie is an absolute great action movie. Breathtaking action scenes, perfect cast and great directoring makes this movie the best action movie of all time. This movie is going to be the best action movie of all time for many years, and just Tom Cruise can make a better one. Can't wait to see MI8 and more.

If not the pure adrenaline rush that much of Fallout was, this latest Mission continuously finds new ways to surprise, subvert, entertain.

Tom Cruise's seventh Mission: Impossible film is an unusual mix of high-tech and low-tech, of ultra-modern and defiantly traditional.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One starts at iabsurd and only gets more bonkers from there. (The film openly jokes about how many times Ethan Hunt has gone rogue and still managed to keep his job as the world’s greatest spy.) But Dead Reckoning also passionately believes in those themes — and, above all, in Tom Cruise doing ridiculous things on camera for the amusement of his paying customers.

Directed once again by Christopher McQuarrie, the seventh “M:I” is chock-full of gloriously bonkers stunt sequences, fresh and familiar faces alike, and Cruise running (usually literally) from one international locale to the next.

If it’s pure action you’re after, there’s plenty to set your heart racing here. Cruise and his long-time directing partner Christopher McQuarrie have once again engineered some truly staggering set-pieces

first english, below spanish. english: reckoning with 'mission: impossible'. the opening of 'mission impossible: dead reckoning' lacks the immediate impact that distinguished its predecessors; however, it soon reveals itself as a necessary prelude to one of the most impressive sequences in contemporary action cinema. the extended airport set piece, a calculated play of tensions and rhythms that shift with surgical precision, stands as a true lesson in cinematic suspense, able to sustain interest and heighten expectation with every passing minute. christopher mcquarrie, faithful to his style, once again delivers what he had already consolidated in previous installments, but with the virtue of reinventing himself each time. far from falling into fatigue or mechanical repetition, his narrative always finds a different angle, ensuring that long sequences, instead of exhausting, progressively build toward a climax of growing intensity. the plot, one of the most complex and best executed in the franchise, confirms the ambition of the project. although it does not aspire to be the most transcendent narration in the history of cinema, it firmly stands as a story that far surpasses the minimal line of argument usually demanded of the action genre. here, the saga makes clear —with a strong and confident voice— that mission impossible is not reduced to gunfire, explosions, and spectacular chases, but inhabits a space where narrative tension and structural intelligence are as much protagonists as the action itself. this chapter gathers echoes and parallels from previous entries, but does so with the maturity of a work that understands its own legacy and chooses to elevate it even further. the ending, vibrant and sustained, keeps both the audience and the characters themselves on edge, trapped in a final sequence that allows no respite and inevitably compels the viewer to wonder what will happen in the very next moment. spanish: sentencia a 'misión imposible'. el arranque de 'misión imposible: sentencia mortal' carece del impacto inmediato que distinguió a sus predecesoras; sin embargo, pronto se revela como un preludio necesario para una de las secuencias más impresionantes del cine de acción contemporáneo. la extensa puesta en escena del aeropuerto, un juego calculado de tensiones y ritmos que oscilan con precisión quirúrgica, se erige como una auténtica lección de suspense cinematográfico, capaz de sostener el interés y acrecentar la expectativa con cada minuto. christopher mcquarrie, fiel a su estilo, vuelve a ofrecer lo que ya había consolidado en entregas anteriores, pero con la virtud de reinventarse en cada ocasión. lejos de caer en la fatiga o en la repetición mecánica, su narrativa encuentra siempre un ángulo distinto, logrando que las largas secuencias, en lugar de agotar, construyan de forma progresiva un clímax de intensidad creciente. la trama, una de las más complejas y mejor ejecutadas de la franquicia, confirma la ambición del proyecto. aunque no pretende situarse como la narración más trascendental de la historia del cine, sí se impone como un relato que trasciende con creces la mínima línea argumental exigida al género de acción. aquí, la saga demuestra —con voz clara y firme— que misión imposible no se reduce a disparos, explosiones y persecuciones espectaculares, sino que habita en un terreno donde la tensión narrativa y la inteligencia estructural son tan protagonistas como sus propias escenas de riesgo. este capítulo recoge ecos y paralelismos de las entregas anteriores, pero lo hace con la madurez de una obra que entiende su propia herencia y decide escalarla aún más. el desenlace, vibrante y sostenido, mantiene tanto al espectador como a los propios personajes contra las cuerdas, atrapados en una secuencia final que no concede tregua y que invita, de manera inevitable, a preguntarse qué sucederá en el instante siguiente.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning impressed with its exhilarating action sequences and jaw-dropping stunts, which kept me fully engaged. However, the storyline seemed to lose momentum at times, feeling a bit sluggish. On the other hand, the cinematography, production quality, and soundtrack were top-notch, elevating the entire experience.

Oh my god I can't get those 2 hours and 45 minutes back. Terrible writing, absurd plot. So many plot holes, I know you have to dispel belief when watching these movies, but I was literally rolling my eyes. Getting through this movie was almost Mission Impossible.
