Family Pack

A fun family movie, that has a few suprising moments. Though it strongly reminds me of the jumanji movies just with werwolf. It was very well done. It was amazingly done and better, than I had expected.

Totally in the spirit of the original Jumanji with Robin Williams. Adventure, humor, and that’s all we ask for. Although there’s a bit of a casting issue (Jean Réno and Franck Dubosc are only 10 years apart, so it’s hard to buy them as father and son), the story is well paced. No big surprises, but that’s not what you’re looking for — you want entertainment, and this delivers. Each power has a real purpose, and the werewolf costumes are well done. Great choice to avoid CGI for them; it feels much more realistic that way. Lots of good laughs and a movie the whole family can enjoy — a winning formula.

A dull film that counts on plot contrivances and a VERY stupid cast of characters to move the story ahead. If the characters were likable or the film was funny, I'd give it a pass as a budget film with heart. Sadly, it's just a slog. I gave up about halfway through. On the plus side, the English dub (it's in French originally) isn't awful and the production design is quite good. Mediocre acting and a truly dull script drag this film into the gutter. Hard pass.

Too much woke content for a movie If not for that could be better and that's all.

Oh my, its a WOKE lecture through and through. At one point the mother says that feminism stopped wars, pollution and created advanced society... LOL there is more wars going on right now then ever before. Boring and silly throughout. It's labeled as comedy? stopped watching as it was just ridiculous and unfunny.
