The Black Phone 2 stands as a strong companion piece to the original—firmly rooted in horror, maintaining continuity, yet not shackled by the tropes its predecessor embraced.

Some of the best child acting I’ve ever seen! Incredible cinematography and great story.

I recently saw the first film from 2021 - not realizing there was a second film in theaters, thus this was an excellent surprise to enjoy the theater. this film compliments the storyline for an excellent sequel. Fills in some serious gaps, giving a full circle experience into the lore. I have several chills go through my body - not necesarily from horror - but from thrill. Bravo to the cast. Hope to see more additions!

It’s a tick too long and has a section that’s far too expository for a film that’s at its best when it leans into surreal nightmare logic, but this weird movie works its fear factor in unexpected, creative ways.

Altogether, Black Phone 2 is a mixed bag that still has some clear winning attributes.

Black Phone 2 is still a solid horror film, with gory kills and exciting set pieces. But the question of why still lingers over the film, even as it delivers on its many promises.

It remains a superficial exercise in creepy fun, but – like so many horror sequels – retreading familiar ground proves an exercise in diminishing returns.

There's little to Black Phone 2 to recommend it. At nearly two hours the pacing kills any sense of momentum and the story boils down to everyone wandering in the snow looking for dead bodies. The cast is fine, but there's no meat to their characters and their performances are reflective of that.

Greetings from Lithuania.
Because first "Black Phone" with its budget 18 million dollars managed to pull in a whopping 180 million dollars worldwide, there was no chance that The Graber will stay in hell for long. No spoilers but he and the crew are back for the sequel - "Black Phone 2" (2025). This film didn't left me better impression - i liked the first one more and those one was just a sequel and felt like a one that was made in a wake of success of first film. The story here is way more convoluted and felt under its own premise. Sometimes less is better and so did first film was better. But sequel isn't the worst one either. There interesting ideas here, the setting in showy place was great (despite some shoots were clearly done in green screen). Overall, "Black Phone 2" felt more like on of those "Friday The 13th" sequels, were killer just keeps coming. It is not the worst horror film out there and can be quite enjoyable.

i actually really enjoyed this despite the acting being a bit questionable at times. the actual plot line was alright (not much rly happened imo) - but the cinematic effects and the vhs static vibes of some parts of the movie made it pretty scary and enjoyable to watch. it was pretty short as well so i'm not mad at all!

Stranger things meets nightmare on elm street. Not scary at all. Wasted potential. Absolutely guttered as I was looking forward to this film. The grabber is a shadow of himself even when he's a supernatural being.
