Though this frank documentary about extreme sexual practices comes with a cautionary message, it could perhaps use a stronger one.

While moderately entertaining, the film also captures another old dynamic: The “ew” factor dissolves into the yawn factor with surprising quickness.

It's hard not to chuckle, and hard, too, not to marvel at the many varieties of human experience.

The cheerful how-to aspect ("cut and file your nails!") adds to the sense that the whole thing seems to have drifted in from some late-night infomercial netherland.
