If you weren’t a fan of WWE 2K23, probably not enough has changed to win you over. If you thought WWE 2K23 was already perfect, the minor additions in 2K24 might not be enough to warrant the cost of a new wrestling game this year.

WWE 2K24 is probably the most complete and refined edition to date, especially under 2K. It presents really fun and in-depth MyGM and Universe modes, and while its MyRise and Showcase modes could bring more to the table, its fun gameplay and focus on actual singleplayer fun starts slowly redeeming the franchise after some serious pitfalls in the past. Well, unless you are a PC player…

Perfection is hard to achieve, especially in the world of video games – but WWE 2K24 comes as close to that as any previous game has so far.

WWE 2K is a franchise that is getting stronger as the years go by. 2K Games and Visual Concepts have taken the series on the right path. The Ambulance Match mode is the most exciting, the entrances are now different and gives it much more realism. The defects in the game are few, the gameplay is more arcade than the previous ones and that makes WWE 2K24 a good place for fans of the genre.

WWE 2K24 is such a full, feature-complete wrestling game that it makes me thankful for the franchise capitulation from a few years ago. Without it, the digital squared circle likely wouldn’t be what it is today, it certainly wouldn’t have benefited from the three years of care, respect, and foundation we enjoy today. Instead, it'd remain a story unfinished.

It’s great that the WWE 2K series is in such a good place, where it doesn’t need to change much and still remains a must-have for wrestling game fans everywhere. When the bell rings, WWE 2K24 still continues to have the best in-ring action, with a broadcast-like presentation that very much looks the part. It’s filled to the brim with content that will keep you busy until Wrestlemania 41, but its Showcase mode, the key feature of its marketing campaign every single year, needs a serious rethink, as it’s holding the series back from legendary status. It might not Finish the Story, but it’s another damn good chapter.

WWE 2K24 is clearly aiming at wrestling fans. They will not be disoriented level taken in hand by the arrival of new features in the execution of certain shots. Nor by the few technical flaws. The new games are way too much fun and the Showcase mode dedicated to Wrestlemania is really successful. But the graphic limits and a certain lack of variety in the content, are all defects are unfortunate. But WWE 2K24 succeeds in its mission : to entertain us.

Wwe 2k24 game review I love both stories equally I love the Hollywood storylines and about famous and the price you pay for being in the Hollywood famous spotlight and being centered of the attention and finishing your Hollywood success story both story are fun entertaining high stakes pressure expectations hardwork the women one was more hardwork I did failed but in Hollywood you have flops and hits but you learn from those but it was fun experience tho this was my favorite game storyline better than last year myrise stories the myfaction I don’t play it 1 star I like wwe universe mode 4 star I love the gameplay mode 5 star wwe 40 year anniversary Wrestlemania mode was ok some matches was not good but 2000 to 2023 Hollywood Wrestlemania was amazing 3 star gm mode one of my favorite modes I can spend all day in this mode I am so happy that they brought this mode back I am happy they update this game I can’t wait for 2k25 to see more updates on this mode 5 star wwe 2k24 is my favorite game of 2024 i love 4k ultra high definition it’s makes everything look better if you have a 4k tv but I hope for wwe 2k25 4k ultra hd hlr10 or Dolby vision make it look extra better very high stunning graphics but it doesn’t happen I am ok with that but as long they can keep making it in4K ultra High Definition

Love the GM Mode. Hated the objectives in Showcase. I wish we had more match types and customizing in GM Mode!

Pretty fun game, especially with friends, the showcase mode is also nice but not a big difference to 2k23 tbh

Game crashes so often, loading times are so slow for online, grinding for VC and MFP is tedious, Showcase mode is nowhere near as fun as it used to be, and please get rid of MyFaction, it’s easily the worst mode of the game. We shouldn’t have to grind for 150000+ MFP just to get a CM Punk card and be able to use his old entrance song.
