I dont understand how people can defend these cheaply designed, poor combat gameplay, microtransaction piece of **** games nowadays. Its the fan base like this, that allows dog **** games like vermintide to have no standards, no real substance, no nothing. You can fight 10 chaos warriors and they will all stack inside each other, you can see what the first 5 enemys will do but not the other 5 and before you know it, youre dead. People who think this game is good, only think that cause they are just warhammer fans that are cucked to the core. Be the same people that think mc donalds is a healthy source of food. This game is so cheaply designed and overlooked, praised and validated by people that dont know what real quality.

One of a kind game being L4D(2) set in the fantasy world of Warhammer with focus on melee combat, but with magic, throwable weapons and even some guns available. Runs better than previous game. Progression is adequate. DLC careers feel a little op, but they do not really affect the pvp mode and there are only 5 of these out of all 30 careers available.
It also runs smoother than The End Times.

Warhammer Fantasy is my favourite setting overall. And this game allows me to relax after a stressful day, while playing one of 20 classes and slaying hordes of Skavens and Chaos warriors. Soooo relaxing and fun!

I completed almost all the maps, not counting the additional ones that are purchased separately, I liked the game, I played for a couple of months with friends, there were some difficult maps, but in general, if you come across experienced players, then these maps can be completed, the combat system in the game is excellent, it’s very fun to kill a crowd of orcs, the graphics are certainly not great, but you can’t call them bad either, the textures are acceptable on ultra settings, the game is very similar to Left 4 Dead.

One of those multiplayer games you can just play with your friends. Endlessly. It's almost as good as lift 4 dead, but it is just a good one to play with the pals once in a while. The many classes in playstyle, just makes the game so fun to find your niece. It's particularly for me. I always like the dwarf because I like to go into battle , just stop thinking and cutting if I died a lot as ever result. loot system is a bit annoying but at least they give you chest on completing a level so it's don't get too annoying to get loot and you get a lot of resources that you can scrap to make specific weapons you like ,so it's is the best loot system I have seen. The game has every kind of medieval stuff you want the dungeons that are the castles that are the little villages it has all the fantasy stuff you'd like to see. The game isn't too punishing when you play with friends you can rely revive them very often so it's not one of those where one of your friends have to just sit in a corner be sad all game because you will not be resurrected dem.

After 1,000 hours in this game with a ~2 year break in the middle, I am so satisfied with the game. Multiplayer fun times! Having Voice Chat that is of decent enough quality, helps finds people to be friends with (and then use Discord more)... Scaling and itemizing is great. New DLC subclasses and this month new maps is amazing. More!

Вполне неплохая игра на старте, которая со временем стала только хуже. Т.к. в неё играют в основном старики, больше нет никакого исследования игры командой, теперь все уровни - это просто раш до конечной точки. Плюсом ужасно перегрузили лобби зачем то размазав весь его контент по всему замку и ничего не объяснив. Попробовал вернуться в неё на бесплатной раздаче перед выходом дарктайда. Игра совсем не зацепила в этот раз, ждем дарктайд.

No story, just dungeon grinding. The game was fun when you first try it, but it gets boring overtime. Grinding the same maps, enemies and bosses is what you are playing for after the tutorial, nothing else. The game offers not much content except it's free on steam recently.

Discovered lately but a very very good co-op game at a very good price with lot of content and very addictive. Lot of loot, skills and a good group needed. If you like the Warhammer lore you will love this one. Graphics are quite good for what we need for this type of game.

Un excellent jeu qui renferme beaucoup de mécaniques qu'on ne voit pas au premier abord. De nombreux défi et des combat très bien fait et agréable ce jeu est un pur plaisir qui mettra quand même au défi les réflexe et la stratégie même sous des apparences de jeu bourrin. Je le conseil très fortement, sans doute l'un des meilleur jeu Warhammer.

Проведя в игре 45 часов имею сказать следующее, дамы и господа - очень противоречивые чувства вызывает творение. Ну, собственно, по порядку. Плюсы: + аутентичная рисовка (крысы и воины хаоса вызывают полнейший восторг) + довольно неплохая графика + хорошая оптимизация (лучше чем у вархамер тотал вар 3) + хорошо реализованные уровни сложности, которые действительно различаются. Чем выше уровень сложности, тем сыграннее должна быть команда, иначе смерть. И это прекрасно + локации. Наконец - то они большие, красивые, проработанные, местами даже хочется делать скрины + игра отошла от псевдо-командной работы, как в других подобных играх, здесь нужна команда + желание нарезать, расстреливать не отпускает первые часов 10 пока ты не прохаваешь механику, и вот тогда то и вылезают минусы, которые уничтожают все то положительно-прекрасное, о чем написано выше. Минусы: - прокачка героев. Она топорная. Убогая. Хуже может быть только....да ничего не может быть хуже. 30 левелов на каждом из которых мы можем выбрать себе способность. Для каждого ГГ три перка. ВСЕ. Точка. Для остальных героев все одинаково. Я так понял это была попытка скопировать систему из Killing Floor, но вышел жидкий обосрайтунг - жадность Шарков. Требовать космические прайсы за мелкие ДЛС. Неистребимое стремление еще с первой части игры. ВЫВОД: покупать любителям вселенной Фентези Батлс однозначно. Всем остальным с учетом "поправок на ветер". Реиграбельности у игры ноль целых хрен десятых, если вы не имеете верную пачку товарищей для каток.

Warhammer + Left 4 dead = Hours of co-op fun. Highly recommend playing this through with your friends, as its really fun and worth the time. However, hordes and hordes of the same enemies can get a little bit tedious and some more variety in enemies would make for a more interesting 50th playthrough of the same level.

Such a fun game to play together with friends. The world is really cool and I love the fantasy elements of it. So gloomy and mysterious in the best kind of way. Fun and different characters. If you want some action and fight against Skavens this is a game for you.

It's amazing how such a simple concept can be so much fun! You plow through hordes and hordes of rats, chaos warriors and beastmen to complete unique goal of level. And there are plenty of levels to choose from. Mechanics of the game are working perfectly, no glitches, no bugs, just pure pleasure. With every level started you feel more and more immersed into the world of Warhammer.

Vermintide was an enjoyable Left 4 Dead clone, but this sequel brings nothing new to the table except some new monsters. New maps are uninspired (and some DLC maps are straight ports from the first game). If you like Left 4 Dead and you are interested in trying the same game in the Warhammer setting, play the original Vermintide. If you have already played Vermintide, there is no reason to buy this. 5.5/10

WARHAMMER: VERMINTIDE 2 is a hack & slash fan's dream come true. 3D hacking & slashing does not get any better than this. The only downside is, it's co-op. I would prefer a single player version of the game, but at least you can enter a private session and the three other characters get played by bots. These act fairly well - I had no issues with pathfinding or the AI in general. You have the choice between 5 characters: a soldier, a dwarven and an elven ranger, a witch hunter and a mage, each of which has another 3 sub classes that unlock with levels. I preferred the DLC Grail Knight who is heavily armored but may not use any ranged weapons. But what character you choose comes down to personal preference. The game is better balanced than it's predecessor which **** if you played with only bots. The AI has been improved significantly and being grappled by one of the special enemies now no longer is a death sentence. As a matter of fact on the easiest difficulty setting this game is playable without much tactics - simple hack & slash with the 3 other bots holding their own. The graphics and fantastic, each map is very detailed and looks like an actual medieval town or castle complete with narrow cobble stone alleys. The architecture is just amazing! Weapons feel real and have superb feedback. Butchering hordes of ratmen feels like the lawnmower scene in Peter Jackson's Braindead with blood and guts flying all over - it makes DOOM look like a kiddie game. The environments look breathtaking and nail the WARHAMMER grittiness. Also, the enemy design is quite good with a good variety of ratmen and well more ratmen and then even more ratmen. OK, there are also chaos troopers, but the main focus is ratmen (Skaven). The sound and music are really good, too. swords or hammers striking armor actually sounding like it rather than someone beating a trash can with a stick, but what steals the show is the voice acting: my favorites are Tim Bentinck as the witch hunter and Alix Wilton Regan as the elven ranger. WARHAMMER: VERMINTIDE 2 is not a typical RPG in the style of SKYRIM. Think of it as skirmishes in the style of the WARHAMMER board games: you start a mission that has a clear objective. The map is NOT open world, they are maze-like and areas are blocked off, which is not always done in the best way, but open world would not have worked here. (You still can get lost and exploration is definitely possible and rewarded). It plays like LEFT 4 DEAD but with medieval weapons, and I personally prefer VERMINTIDE 2 to any of the LEFT FOR DEAD games. Character customization is limited but it's there: said 3 sub-classes per character, then there are Talents, 3 of which are unlocked every 5 levels up to level 30. Per tier only one may be active at any given time.

- Runs very badly. Even on all low settings I get very low fps. Game doesn't look great to begin with so not too sure why - You get hit from behind constantly and nothing you can do can really prevent that - There is no real self healing in the game other than items, higher difficulties make these even rarer than they already are - There is friendly fire, although not as bad as other games - Enemy's animations when about to hit you are inconsistent, making blocking them on time very hard and down to luck - Semi-frequent disconnects - DLCs are too expensive for what little content you get in them - Very little class customization and not much depth in each career All of these pretty much force me to only play one class to fully enjoy the game. Despite that, it's cheap on sale and does have its positives + Can buy for £6 on sale + Good voice acting and mostly good sound design + Is Warhammer Fantasy + Has some workshop mod support + Good amount of settings + Good maps + Fun when playing with friends (and only with friends)

This is one of the rare few games that I've played for hundreds of hours, complained A LOT about how the devs could do better, but play for another few hundred hours. The maps are great, music, CHARACTER VOICES, enemies, specials.. everything is so canon and true to the Warhammer fantasy setting.

The combat feels weighty and the different career types, weapon selections and team compositions give a lot of replay ability and fun to the game. The story definitely does fall a little by the wayside, which is a shame as the game is taking place in a universe with so much detail and lore to fill the story.
Overall it is a very solid game and a lot of fun, but definitely not perfect.

The focus of this game is combat. Because the story is practically non-existent (in addition to being horrible) and what you don't understand (unless you've played the other games). The level design is good and has virtually no soundtrack. But the problem is that the combat is very basic, repetitive and tiring. You can switch classes most of the combat is the same. But if you play with friends this game can be fun.

Quand je lis certains commentaires, c'est à la limite du review bombing. Sérieusement, quoi reprocher à ce jeu ????? Un aspect répétitif ? Le principe c'est bien de faire et refaire les niveaux pour améliorer son skill, son personnage, son stuff. Quand j'en lis certains, je doute aussi très fortement sur votre re-jouabilité des niveaux. Effectivement les refaire en mode facile/normal à chaque fois, sans chercher les tomes et les grimoires, y'a pas beaucoup d'intérêt et c'est pas du tout ce à quoi vous pousse le jeu. Mais bon, quand on voit des mecs niveaux 35-40 faire du contre jeu d'équipe et mourir en 1v1 contre le moindre spécial, ça me choque pas. BREF ! Le jeu est magnifique graphiquement. J'ai lu qu'il était "decent" voire "potable". Alors désolé si vous jouez habituellement à un jeu aussi réaliste que "the real life" mais je vois vraiment pas ce qu'il vous faut. C'est cracher dans la soupe à tous les niveaux. Concernant la DA, c'est absolument parfait. Les décors sont magnifiques, les monstres flippant (et me dites pas que vous chieriez pas dans vos frocs devant un adepte de Nurgl !). La bande son est vraiment prenante et renforce l'immersion au maximum. Quand vous entendez les tambours, vous savez que les problèmes arrivent. J'ai vu des plaintes sur des game crash etc. Soyons clair, j'ai pas une bête de course niveau PC. J'ai absolument 0 freez, crash, bug etc. Le jeu est hyper bien optimisé et si vous rencontrez un problème, regardez plutôt vos specs avant de le reprocher au jeu. Le gameplay est relativement identique au premier opus. Donc si on était une brutasse sur le premier, on reste pas dégueu sur le 2 ce qui est cool. L'utilisation des compétences spéciales sur chaque perso rafraîchit le jeu. Mais surtout, le lobby. Quel jeu se paye le luxe de vous fournir autre chose qu'un menu bête et méchant ? Vermintide vous plonge dans une forteresse super classe, très grande, qu'on prend plaisir à visiter & améliorer. Mais surtout qui nous permet d'accéder à tous les menus d'amélioration, craft, objectifs etc. Je pourrais continuer des heures à vous dire à quel point ce jeu est énorme. Ce qui est sûr c'est que si un left 4 dead 3 sort un jour, il aura un sacré concurrent à détrôner parce que pour moi il est clair que ça surpasse left 4 dead en tout point. Parce que perso, je ne regrette pas du tout le joueur vs joueur. Qui était blindé de tricheur, de rageux et dont l'équilibrage était pas toujours au beau fixe suivant les niveaux. Foncez sur ce jeu !!!
