Rainbow Six Extraction stealthily moves down a well-trodden path, carrying a fairly uninspired narrative that could be described as hackneyed at best. OK, as pithy summations go maybe that's a little bit harsh. Sure, this won't be winning any awards for its high concept themes or originality, but does that really matter when it's so much fun to play? While Ubisoft hasn't reinvented the wheel here, it has at least implemented enough innovative ideas in its core gameplay loop to keep potential React operators engaged in the Archaean struggle. As with any title reliant on repeated playthroughs, there's maybe a slight concern on its longevity, however the promise of regular, free content drops, should be reason enough to warrant regular revisits. It's also worth noting that it's available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, courtesy of Uncle Phil's deep pockets.

Extraction has some really great ideas, but it unfortunately just comes off as a very chaotic, unfinished and very grindy Siege spinoff.

Meh. Got it in ps plus. Played for few hours. Very boring. Never played siege, if its half bad as this one i don't get the hype around it.

If you are the type of person who liked the tactical aspects of Rainbow Six: Siege but was put off by the PvP elements then Extraction is just the tactical experience you will really enjoy.

While some of Rainbow Six Extraction‘s systems do feel a little unfair at times, there’s one hell of a thrilling experience to be found if you can get into the groove. I’m not usually a fan of stealth, but sneaking around the game’s excellently-designed environments trying to get the upper hand on a bunch of freaky-as-hell aliens is exhilarating. You’re constantly on-edge, not knowing what waits around the next corner, poised to attack if you need to. Add to that a solid progression system that keeps you wanting to jump back in, and you’ve got one of Ubisoft’s best multiplayer experiences yet.

All the "kids" who played the game and say its boring haven't even tried the game on the hard modes. you play a few games on easy and say "you have seen it all" are wrong. the maps you unlock have way more content then the fist one and the higher difficulty is where the fun is at. you have to actually play the game to enjoy it not just expect it to be handed to you. Earn something for once lmao. its very fun. also its not zombies you idiots, there aliens so stop comparing to cod zombies which is no where even close to be as good.

Haven't had this much fun in a game in quite some time. IMO the best gunplay in the gaming industry carried from R6 Siege implemented into zombie/alien coop with randomly generating objectives. Every deployment is split into 3 stages and you can decide to withdraw at any stage if for example you are low on hp or lost a teammate. Game can be easy if you play on easy mode, but it can be a real challenge on harder modes. Whats worth mentioning is it's one very few games in the recent years that launched with no bug at all (or at least I haven't experienced any). I have to address baseless negative reviews I've seen here because this is just silly. -"game is a clone of R6 Siege" - Well it shares a big part of the name so what exactly did you expect? And honestly I'm glad it is similar as R6 Siege has grat gunplay but here you can just have fun with friends in PvE instead of tryharding in PvP. Same people complaining it's a Siege clone would happily pay $60 for a bugged and reskinned COD. -"It's too expensive" - it's literally comes free with gamepass which currently costs 1$. -Basically if you like zombie/alien coop FPS games and have at least 1 friend that also wants to play this, then I fully recommend you get this game (ideally from gamepass). -If you don't like zombie/alien coops or your friends aren't interested in this game, I probably wouldn't buy it, as coop is what makes it fun.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction thinks outside of the box to provide a well-realised PvE experience that builds upon Siege’s already solid core tenets. While its longevity has yet to be proven or seen, Extraction’s addictive blend of cooperative, rogue-like, and stealth mechanics offers an engaging Rainbow Six experience, even if it’s a bit out there.

Net of an underlying repetitiveness that begins to emerge after a few hours of play, a non-exceptional enemy design and a series of fluctuations related to the balance of weapons and operators, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction is an intense and compelling cooperative shooter , able to offer an experience different from other exponents of the genre, more oriented towards frenetic action and little to strategy.

This drastic change in tone and structure from the Rainbow Six: Siege we've all come to enjoy is cool…for a time. The different alien types--while seeming overly familiar compared to other video game monsters--are fun to fight and strategize against. The objectives are fun and tense, and the "do we continue or leave now" choice is always filled with tension. I just wish there was more of this game to play, and that the repetition of the game didn't set in so soon. Extraction is certainly worthy of the Rainbow Six moniker, I just don't know if it will be laying Siege to the other game's fanbase anytime soon.

Rainbow Six Extraction includes some interesting mechanics and a core gameplay loop that you can find fun in. However for all the positive aspects, the big issue is how quickly it falls apart into a grindy, frustrating mess while trying to play solo.

Ubisoft eventually came to the realization that it was time to get this game out the door, and the result is a jumbled pile of ideas you’ve seen before, executed in a wildly uninteresting way.

Alguns pensam que é um DLC do r6... mas o jogo entrega bastante coisa diferente tanto em questão de game play quanto em jogabilidade. Vale ressaltar que é um jogo full coop, entao nao compre pensado o oposto desse pensamento. No geral pra quem gosta de jogo coop com estratégia é um excelente game.

Estou tentando gostar desse jogo, mas não consigo, ele é mais do mesmo (padrão da ubisoft hoje em dia), muitas coisas recicladas do R6 Siege, esse jogo poderia ter sido um pacote de expansão ou algo do tipo, ou pelo menos tentar inovar um pouco mais

Extraction is the kind of game where you'll either not mind the core gameplay enough to grind through all the repetition in order to progress through so little story there is, or you'll drop it after only a few hours. I'm definitely not proud to say just how many hours I sunk into something so redundant in nature just to finish all the studies and challenges in each "region". It was like an obsessive obligation on my end. Despite the core gameplay being fine, the worst part about the game as far as being a Tom Clancy licensed game is concerned, unfortunately feels like anything but. The difficulty the brand is known for seems designed artificially here as a means of padding for more playtime. Kudos for some of the game mechanics like MIA rescues and higher-risk higher-reward progression, but it's just too repetitive and often times frustrating to recommend.

Playing this game solo is absolute **** No matter how stealthy you’re being enemies will detect you no matter what. Not to mention they hit like absolute **** tanks. The operator MIA mechanic also is a pain when playing solo.
