Extraction is the kind of game where you'll either not mind the core gameplay enough to grind through all the repetition in order to progress through so little story there is, or you'll drop it after only a few hours. I'm definitely not proud to say just how many hours I sunk into something so redundant in nature just to finish all the studies and challenges in each "region". It was like an obsessive obligation on my end. Despite the core gameplay being fine, the worst part about the game as far as being a Tom Clancy licensed game is concerned, unfortunately feels like anything but. The difficulty the brand is known for seems designed artificially here as a means of padding for more playtime. Kudos for some of the game mechanics like MIA rescues and higher-risk higher-reward progression, but it's just too repetitive and often times frustrating to recommend.

Playing this game solo is absolute **** No matter how stealthy you’re being enemies will detect you no matter what. Not to mention they hit like absolute **** tanks. The operator MIA mechanic also is a pain when playing solo.

-Gunplay 10/10: great since it is copy/paste from Rainbow Six Siege -Almost no bugs at release. congrats! -Story and Lore 1/10: most generic story, lore , monsters you will ever experienced. This is what kills the game for me. Maps and environments3/10: empty and shallow. Game mechanics 2/10: Interesting ideas with operator management. It is almost a shame the devs did not push the ideas towards XCOM. Same with destructible environments which could have create amazing stressful moments. But never happens finally. Everything is just paper-thin and forgetable. This game is a missed opportunity...

It's a very special game. So special that it will definitely not be for anyone. However, if it clicks for you, it clicks so good that you simply can't put the controler/keyboard down! Dont listen to the hate reviews by the angry nerds, simply because it is a Ubisoft game. Give it a try - especially if you own gamepass where its totally free - and you will thank me later ;)

All the "kids" who played the game and say its boring haven't even tried the game on the hard modes. you play a few games on easy and say "you have seen it all" are wrong. the maps you unlock have way more content then the fist one and the higher difficulty is where the fun is at. you have to actually play the game to enjoy it not just expect it to be handed to you. Earn something for once lmao. its very fun. also its not zombies you idiots, there aliens so stop comparing to cod zombies which is no where even close to be as good.

Haven't had this much fun in a game in quite some time. IMO the best gunplay in the gaming industry carried from R6 Siege implemented into zombie/alien coop with randomly generating objectives. Every deployment is split into 3 stages and you can decide to withdraw at any stage if for example you are low on hp or lost a teammate. Game can be easy if you play on easy mode, but it can be a real challenge on harder modes. Whats worth mentioning is it's one very few games in the recent years that launched with no bug at all (or at least I haven't experienced any). I have to address baseless negative reviews I've seen here because this is just silly. -"game is a clone of R6 Siege" - Well it shares a big part of the name so what exactly did you expect? And honestly I'm glad it is similar as R6 Siege has grat gunplay but here you can just have fun with friends in PvE instead of tryharding in PvP. Same people complaining it's a Siege clone would happily pay $60 for a bugged and reskinned COD. -"It's too expensive" - it's literally comes free with gamepass which currently costs 1$. -Basically if you like zombie/alien coop FPS games and have at least 1 friend that also wants to play this, then I fully recommend you get this game (ideally from gamepass). -If you don't like zombie/alien coops or your friends aren't interested in this game, I probably wouldn't buy it, as coop is what makes it fun.

It’s a garbage game. This is just a special game mode for Siege, and not a good one at that, and they have the gall to charge $60!!! It’s not even worth $20.

Surprisingly good game for Ubisoft, especially for team of 3. You can play it solo, but that would not be as interesting as the core part what makes this game great is the collaboration between team members required to enjoy end-game content. Sad to see most hate for this games comes from PvP R6 Siege fans who wanted to get this game for free and have PvP in it and too immature to grasp PvP fans are not the core of the world and that there are PvE coop players who are real target audience for this game.

If you have gamepass then try it, but if you're planning to buy this game, dont do that! I found no bugs and game runs perfect, but it is so boring. I left the game after 2 hours. It is not what they showed in the trailers, the game does not punish u for being aggressive and not scary as much as left4dead or other games in same genre. if you have some friends to play with then it would be more funnier if you don't have other co-op games. As a co-op game, everything must be deepened on teamwork, but this game you can do it alone or with BOTS team-mates. It could be a good mod for Rainbow Six, but not as a stand alone game. this rainbow six extraction game will be first and last stand alone game. Alguns pensam que é um DLC do r6... mas o jogo entrega bastante coisa diferente tanto em questão de game play quanto em jogabilidade. Vale ressaltar que é um jogo full coop, entao nao compre pensado o oposto desse pensamento. No geral pra quem gosta de jogo coop com estratégia é um excelente game.

Honestly really surprised me. Didn’t expect much, but I think the execution and wealth of content is really impressive. Not to mention it’s extremely polished and very refined. Good gunplay, good gameplay, good aesthetic, all around I don’t think you’d have a bad time of you like the Siege formula. Very decent coop or even solo game, and well tweaked difficulty. I recommend!

It was a game that showed more brilliant graphic development than Siege and the efforts of the developers in various areas. The lighting effect and sound have been greatly improved, and it is a game that is always played with tension because of the archians and breachers who appear out of nowhere. Lack of content? The repeated mission is a concept that has existed since the previous work, Rainbow Six Siege. Extraction has a wider map than Siege, and there are various missions, and the location of these missions changes every time you play the game. So please don't belittle or criticize the extract with these weird things

How to describe r6 extraction boring and repetitive. Thank god I own xbox game pass because I saved $40 from this boring game. The fact that ubisoft is asking for $40 bucks for this game is just absurd. They should of just made this a dlc to r6 siege or just kept the outbreak event in the game that was in the game a couple of years ago. Don’t buy this game it’s not worth a single penny for this boring carbon copy.

A very impressive title at $39 (especially so for Xbox Game Pass owners). Tons of fun if played with friends and if you play the game how it's meant to be played. Running and gunnning will yield frustrating results. Slow, steady gameplay is the only way to survive the especially in harder difficulties which get delightfully tense!

O jogo de início apresenta uma ótima diversão em conjunto com colegas, a variedade de cenário é pouca mas qualidade e possibilidade que podemos construir dentro da gameplay é admirável, escolher entre "blindagem" e kit de "reanimação" passar o mesmo ar estratégico da rainbow six, a interação com o cenário não deixa a desejar o jogo fica entre a escassez de recurso e abundância de munição. Os termos técnicos do jogo não deixa a desejar, eu não tive problemas com crash e nem bugs, que me impressiona, os gráficos parecem aprimorados mas nada de nova geração e gráficos incríveis, são bons mas não de se impressionar. Progressão e algo decente nesse jogo, sem inovação é apenas mais do mesmo, mas não é irritante e nem monótona. A progressão e recompensadora o suficiente para te manter no jogo apesar da repetição na missão sobre "estudos" e a história por mais que seja bem desenvolvida não aparenta inovação apesar de ser agradável de se assistir e jogar. Modo solo e algo precário nesse jogo, não é divertido é apenas solitário, a gameplay fica lenta e monótona oque é oposto das partidas em grupo. Gameplay é com certeza o foco principal do jogo, gameplay divertida e característica, com bons inimigos e tipos de estratégias diferentes que podemos fazer, a jogabilidade é ótima é um pouco mais ágil que o Rainbow six a versatilidade das missões estão no ponto certo e são divertidas em grupo principalmente pela diversidade e qualidades de cada agente. Agentes são a marca característica de rainbow six a variedade de agentes é bem proposta no jogo, cada um desempenha bem sua função e quase todos são interessantes de se jogar, a variação de armas e suas personalizações são ótima e bem funcionais para a progressão e diversão durante o jogo. Conclusão: Jogo com termos técnicos aceitáveis, poucos problemas e gráficos bons mas nada inovadores.
Gameplay em conjunto hiper divertida porém monótona quando se está sozinho.
Progressão agradável e interessante em certos momentos, mas nada inovadora.
História bem desenvolvida mas sem grandes novidades.
Agentes bem desenvolvidos com ótima características, divertido e bem propostos no jogo.
Cenários ótimos, bem desenvolvidos e com grandes características, cumpre sua função de não deixar o jogo monótono.

I didn't have any expectations for this game, but after spending 30 hours. I'm still craving more. This game is a solid PVE experience and has a lot of potential and replay value. I highly recommend it if you like games like Killing **** and Deep Rock Galactic.

A game that is not finished. I had a glitch/bug almost every match, including a player character coughing nonstop and the game shutting down when I extract. It's a money pit.

I really enjoy this game. I play it with my brother a lot. We both love the game play formula and the gunplay feels really good. I really enjoy the look of the menus and all the items to choose from. It's a really good time and I'd say don't knock it until you try it in some way.

Pros
- Solid game system * One of the most enjoyable Ubisoft style PvE games in the past 3 years.
- Less bugs then other ubisoft’s games. * Except buddy pass system
- Better than Battlefield 2042 and Call of Duty: Vanguard Cons
- Lack of multi-core processor utilization - Fast content consumption due to repetitive missions.
- The number of resources like an ammo in the map as opposed to the 3-player multiplayer concept.
- Unbalaced operator, gear stats etc. Two edges of sword
- Return of PvE style of Tom Clancy’s series vs Not a typical old school Tom Clancy’s titled game. Not bad, but nothing more, nothing less

It's SAD that a game that used to be based on real world squad events and tactical gameplay clearing room after room at its highest point is now an alien shooter... like for real. Honestly it would be fine if it was a new IP and didn't slap the "Rainbow Six" but this is the not needed. Management at Ubisoft can't be this naive to think that this is what everyone wanted. Especially since Rainbow Six, Rainbow Six Rogue Spear, and hell, even some parts of Vegas and Vegas 2 were fun, More arcade-ish but still ok. Now we have a Cartoon like Siege with abilities, power ups and now an alien mode.. WTF? I would LOVE to work at Ubisoft and guide them back to what made them great before. Scrap GR Frontline, XDefiant, Extraction, Hyperscape AND NFT's. And Make actual games people want, Thoughtful, tactical, NON Looter Shooter games. It's just unbelievable that this is even a conversation that is worth mentioning. Way to lose your fanbase

I say, it's a game to play with friends or people who want play pve. Have 9 hours an have still fun. I can't understand this negative reviews cuz they paid 60€ for Siege that is only pvp. Maybe it is a DLC that changed to an whole game. But I have fun with my clan.

To be honest, after 20+ hours I didn’t notice any serious bugs or even moderate issues common for modern “new releases”. Even servers work properly so far.

Meus amigos, sinceramente tenho medo que a industria dos games entrem em crise. Por que se continuarem a lançarem games como esse, acredito que muita empresa vai quebrar. Nao tem o que dizer, esse jogo é apenas mais uma copia de left 4 dead. Isso deveria ser uma expanção do R6, e de graça.

If you play the first 30 minutes, you’ve seen it all. This is really a totally boring “game” with no content. Skip it. For 40$ this is a rip off. This really should have been a 10$ expansion for Siege. There is just nothing good to say about this game. It’s all slightly re skinned assets from Siege. The areas all look the same. The mission objectives are all the same and akin to “go here, press button”. You have to play 12-15 hours to get to end game. Where all you do is the same old stuff with enemy bullet sponges. No redeeming qualities at all. This game exists to sell you micro transactions. This really seems to be a mobile phone game that they figured they could charge 40$ for on console then get you to spend on micro transactions. Extraction uses rainbow six’s name to get you to buy a boring, PVE only game. Skip it. Save yourself the money.

Pros: - Somewhat fun co-op with friends. - No friendly fire. -Map design is good. Cons: -When you rescue an operator or use one there is a time limit until you can use them again. As my friend put it "it feels like a mobile game." *cough* *cough* Clash of Clans - Forces players to use suppressors or you get swarmed by enemys. - Recoil in this game doesn't feel good - Most operator abilities are virtually useless against enemies. - From an Xbox one experience, the game doesn't feel that smooth at all (Note: Other systems can definitely run this game better). - A.I. is pretty stupid. -No true PvP multiplayer, only Player(s) vs A.I. Final thoughts: If you want a fun co-op to play with friends where weapons are fun to use then don't buy this game, buy Left4Dead.
