This is a dark story, and it’s one that has allusions toward historical acts of rape, cruelty and death. It’s a game very much for adults, and its melancholia is very affecting. It’s also astoundingly well written (this is from a Portuguese team, and the English is perfect), beautifully delivered, and the all-too rare treat of a solidly well-made adventure game. That this is developer Whalestork’s first project is mindblowing. I am fascinated to see where they go next.

An engrossing tale rooted in superb writing, The Night is Grey brings thrills and chills to life with plausible, well-integrated puzzles, evocative music and ominously compelling visuals.

The Night is Grey is a serviceable point-and-click experience that sees its gorgeous art style and animations overshadowed by a disappointing ending and frustrating puzzles.

Very Poor game with boring dialogue, dumb story and bad puzzles. Stay away !

This one really hit the spot for me. I'm an old gamer and I played a lot of this genre back in the day. The retro feel is absolutely nailed and the immersive experience of the mysterious narrative, the puzzles and the soundtrack come together well. The work and care that went into conveying the atmosphere of the game really paid off.

With its beautiful scenery, heartfelt characters, and the weirdest wolves you’ve ever seen, The Night Is Grey is as close to a psychological thriller as an adventure game can get, worthy to be called an interactive cinematic experience.

A great game filled with an amazing art style and mood that very is well complemented by an equally enticing OST.
If you're hardcore fan of point and click adventures you will be well rewarded by the challenge of the adventure and unique turns this story takes.

This game is really great, specially if you are a fan of classic point-and-click games. The plot is very engaging and keeps you hooked and wondering for more, and yes it can be a bit misleading sometimes, but it is needed for the plot twist in the end, in my opinion. There are a lot of clever, logical, and sometimes a bit challenging puzzles along the way, but I enjoyed every one of them, even the one that was a bit more complex for me.
Also, the hand drawn art is mesmerizing and incredibly beautiful, and the background music very impactful and totally in sync with the intended vibe for the game. These combined, for me personally, had a very nostalgic vibe and I could feel the same awe I had when I was younger and played more than nowadays. It felt awesome!

Hard to play because of all the waiting and loading times. But it is atmosferic. Know that it is a horror game you are going into, no scares, just dark atmosphere. I liked the story but thoroughly disliked the protagonist. This is like cringe text generator, the game. The art is appropriate: the backgrounds are beautiful, the characters are ugly.

-dont believe good reviews they are from devs, friends, paid reviewer and bots.
even free not worth it skip it or watch it on utube with speed x1.25. -bad puzzles, slow skiping dialog, alot of loading, lying about horror (not horror game), broken glitches, bad dialog, bad story goes nowhere and bad ending.
-only good graphic.
