Spider-Man: The Movie

If you have an X-Box, this is the game to beat for playability and entertainment.

The game kicks butt too except for one big problem: the camera.

I love the fact that every Spider-Man ability I could ever want has been included in this game.

Really good...The game-play is where Spiderman really shines.

This is easily the most disappointing Spider-Man game ever.

There are some things to unlock, but the game itself is fairly short.

The Xbox version of "Spider-Man" is arguably the best one. It includes exclusive Kraven the Hunter levels. And graphically, it's better looking than the PS2 and GameCube editions. The game itself is fun, but flawed. Combat and animation are fluid. However, the camera can be problematic. You constantly have to re-adjust it. And while stealth is an option, it's hard to maintain. As you progress in each level, you'll discover new attack moves and unlock bonus content. If you're a fan of Spider-Man, you'll have a good time. But expect some frustrating aspects. Overall, I would rate this with an 8 out of 10.

This was actually the second Spider-Man game I ever played (I first got Spider-Man 2 the game). It is the tie-in to the movie of the same name featuring Spider-Man and the Green Goblin. It's pretty fun, it has a good cast of supervillains you encounter like the aforementioned Green Goblin, Shocker, Scorpion, Vulture, and Kraven the Hunter. The webslinging between ****, though fun, could use some work in the mechanics, it's a little too simplistic. That's improved on greatly in the next game in the series. We see Spider-Man's origin story in this game, as you get to track down Uncle Ben's killer, Peter pursues Mary Jane Watson in the backdrop of the game, and you encounter the Green Goblin. A strong start to the Spider-Man game series, though limited partly due to the fact that it's older.

I wish I could rate this higher, and while this is a great game for the time period, it has aged. It's not hard, besides a single part where it wants you to do stealth, and it is pretty fun, unfortunately, as long as you actually unlock the abilities you can get by finding them around it will be pretty easy to play and enjoy

Played for the first time on my 360 a year ago and it was fun, gameplay wise it takes time to learn but it wasn't the best, story wise it was fun followed the the movie but has its own twist on it where I kind of liked it, but for its time decent game to start off with.
