One of the first FMV thriller point-and-click adventure game. I have missed it back in the days and i get it now thanks to gog...well it's still a good game maybe a little short. Radically different from other point-and-click adventure of the time and you can feel it, in that aspect and for his innovative (for the time) use of fmv it's a good product for retrogamers and adventures fans that want to dig on videogames history. I played it flawlessy on modern pc with Windows 7. High score considering that you can find it very cheap and you can also find online walkthrough for free on the Internet if you get stuck. Beware that isn't suitable for younger audience because of some visual horror sequences

Phantasmagoria is a unique point and click adventure game. It was something unseen in its time. The game is completely cinematic, including the motion of the protagonist, and it was one of the most expensive games of its time from the legendary Sierra Online studio. The game is shocking, but definitely worth playing, at least for educational reasons. And also in terms of concept, game elements, plot, atmosphere, graphics or music. It's excellent study material.

7h 5m PlayedA classic FMV (Full Motion Video) horror adventure that still holds up surprisingly well. The story is interesting, pacing is solid, and the ~7-hour length works in its favor. The live-action acting is very dated and often unintentionally funny, and technical issues like mouse bugs can be frustrating. The biggest downside is Chapter 7, which can effectively soft-lock you if you start without the right items, forcing the use of a walkthrough. Despite its flaws, the nostalgic charm and connection to Sierra make it an enjoyable retro experience.Game Duration: 420 minutesComplexity: 1.5/5Strategy: 1.0/5Luck: 1/5Interaction: 2/5Theme: 4.5/5Replay Value: No, once you know the story and puzzles there is little reason to replay.

Phantasmagoria. The game took this concept and (it could only be done this way) linked a nostalgic reason to it to create fear and brutality. Of course, it is funny to squeeze the main villain of the game, the ghost, into a book by exorcism method, but it is definitely a very nice try.
