My Review – Postal – 10/10
I gave Postal a 10 out of 10 because it’s raw, disturbing, and completely unforgettable. The dark tone, unsettling atmosphere, and controversial nature make it stand out from almost every other game. It isn’t trying to be comfortable or safe — it commits fully to what it is.
The gameplay is simple but effective, and the mood of the game sticks with you long after playing. It’s intense, unique, and bold, and it leaves a strong impression that few games manage to achieve.
This is why Postal is a 10/10.

Featuring inhumane, cold blooded killing and no purpose other than to lay waste to as many fellow human beings as possible, Postal truly stands in a zone of its own – a killing zone.

The moaning and suffering of hit civilians can be quite disturbing in their realism, as are the fire effects and animations. While the graphics fail to evoke the surreal atmosphere that was intended, the sound plays its part superbly.

A middle-of-the-road little action shooter -- nothing more, nothing less. It has enough charm to make it kind of fun, and enough senseless violence to leave an impression, but that's about it.

It's pure 90's edge at its finest. The gameplay is kinda stiff and I would much rather play Redux. Atleast it's free on Steam.

The atmosphere, diary, art and distorted dark ambient music is really amazing. But the gameplay ****. 22 levels? Seriously? I already got bored at level 8. You will shoot 50 rounds in the face of 1 cop. And maybe it's tolerable when there are 20-30 of them per level. but by the end of the game this number increases to 70-90 cops per level. 1 execution animation. There are very few types of weapons and surprise surprise you will regularly use only 2 of them. I love the way this game looks and sounds, but it's boring and painful to play. Better play redux version. Some of the problems there have been fixed.
