It’s been a while since I’ve had this much fun in a cooperative focused title and I think POPUCOM has found a great balance between difficulty and player choice without sticking around for more than it has to. Throw in a lovely presentation and you’ve got a fantastic cooperative puzzle-platformer that can be enjoyed by all.

POPUCOM is a beautiful and fun game that feels just right with the cooperative gameplay that adds to the charm of the colorful world with every turn. The first area’s puzzles teach you about what’s to come, while still adding just enough challenge to not frustrate the user early on, but prepare you for later. This was a wonderful surprise to play, and I can’t wait to spend some time with it to continue. The story is charming and cute, and the cooperative play gives me the same type of joy and puzzle-based challenge that I felt when playing the co-op mode in Portal 2. Hypergryph has a hit with this game, and I can’t wait to see what they have to come.

POPUCOM is amazing and highly recommended for all fans of shooters and platformers. The gameplay is fun, responsive, and works flawlessly, although there is a slight learning curve for each new mechanic introduced throughout the **** captivating tone of the entire experience makes the title one of the most “Nintendo” games that was not created by Nintendo itself – which, in itself, is high praise.

A weird mix of match-3, TPS, 3D platforming, and some light physics sim, but somehow everything clicks and turns into a surprisingly solid, super fun co-op party game. Some levels low-key got that Nintendo vibe. Perfect for friends or family on Saturday nights. 9/10.

Whether you're pushing each other to the finish line or accidentally shoving each other off cliffs, POPUCOM understands that interaction with your fellow humans still delivers some of the best enjoyment around.

Popucom is an entertaining Co-op Puzzle Platformer that has a very simple and charming aesthetic. It may not be a perfect entry into the genre, but it is a fun one.

POPUCOM surprised me by giving a well-crafted cooperative adventure that has just enough curveballs to keep you on your toes. Anyone looking for their next co-op adventure would be hard pressed to find a better option, especially at only $20.

POPUCOM is an engaging and innovative co-op game popping with color and fun. With its blend of different gameplay elements such as 3D platforming, puzzles, Match-3, and gunplay, it's surely an experience that will test your teamwork with your player two to the nth level. While there is no singleplayer mode as its mechanics are designed for two players or more, everything is best experienced the more the merrier.

POPUCOM is a blast! Shooting color bubbles to solve puzzles with friends never gets old – bouncing lasers off shields or teleporting with magnets creates hilarious moments. Boss battles with chain explosions are pure eye candy, and 15hr story mode is worth every penny. Party mode chaos peaks at 4 players, though more party-mode levels would be sweet. Finding teammates is the real endgame!

At first glance, Popucom might look like just another cutesy 3D platformer—but don’t let the playful visuals fool you. Beneath its charming aesthetic lies a cleverly structured cooperative puzzle game, all revolving around a single elegant concept: color.
The core mechanic of Popucom is disarmingly simple. Everything in the game—enemies, switches, portals, hazards—interacts with color. Red objects only respond to red players, blue platforms can only be walked on by blue characters, and so on. It’s this fundamental rule that powers the entire gameplay loop, expanding outward into increasingly creative and layered **** truly enjoy Popucom, you’ll need a friend who’s as comfortable in 3D platformers as you are. Coordination is essential, as many puzzles rely on tight timing, perspective shifts, and synchronized color changes. The game demands not just individual platforming skill, but also a shared understanding of the color system—something that becomes second nature after a short while but can trip up new players.Puzzle difficulty is moderate overall. If you’ve played the Portal series, you’ll find most of the problem-solving in Popucom to be relatively straightforward. It doesn’t aim to twist your brain into knots; instead, it wants you to engage with its color mechanics in clever, often delightful ways. There are satisfying “aha!” moments, but they come with a sense of playful flow rather than intellectual **** short, Popucom is a co-op game built on a single, rock-solid design idea. It doesn’t overwhelm with complexity—it refines and iterates on its color rule to create a focused, rewarding platforming experience. Bring a like-minded friend, and you’re in for a vibrant, engaging adventure that’s as much about communication as it is about color.
