The game is incredibly colorful with a great mix of animation and sound to satisfy players of all ages—it’s not dumbed down for kids and it’s not loaded up with sophisticated gameplay concepts that only adults can take in. Most of all, though, it’s the combination of simple gameplay, challenging action and cartoon-like graphics that makes it highly appealing.

Peggle is pure happiness distilled into a low-cost digital download.

Simply put, this is a once-in-a-generation puzzler, much like Tetris. It’s Xbox Live Arcade’s finest offering, and it can be both mindless and high-level strategic fun. Don’t miss it. Find an internet connection and create an Xbox Live Silver account if you have to; it’s that sublime.

I picked this game up because I was bored and it was on sale for like two dollars on steam. Oh boy was I in for a treat. Also, I'm convinced I'm the only Warren Rabbit fan in existence. I've drawn so much fanart of him it's ridiculous. If you're reading this, please consider caring for my gambling addict. Thank you.

I guess its kinda **** okay. Gameplay is like when youre in that very relatable scenario of being in public with a set of 9 bowling balls so you start throwing bowling balls at people. I **** hate that dumb **** Bjorn though hes SOOO annoying and he keeps showing up. His ability is USELESS and he tries SOOO hard to be funny, actually no thats the entire **** game. The writing is so outdated and cringe and it **** **** I HATE THIS GAME but the gameplay kinda **** makes up for it

Peggle was a surprisingly fun and addicting game for it's simple premise, and the abilities were Unique, but the game was a little short.

Peggle is a drug. But a good one. And with no special "after effects." [June 2009, p.94]

Its simple aim-and-shoot mechanics draws you in for repeated plays and with the short completion times needed to complete levels, you can easily fall prey to ‘Just One More’ Syndrome.

Overall, the Xbox 360 edition of Peggle has turned out to be the most feature-packed version of the game yet.

Peggle is no doubt one of the more addictive games available on the Xbox LIVE arcade.

It's just a shame you'll lose all interest in friends or sleep when in Peggle's inescapable grasp. [Issue#45, p.101]

It would have been nice to stretch the brain-box a bit with crazier modes or challenges, and the inclusion of a level editor certainly wouldn't have hurt, but at 10 dollars, Peggle is a welcome addition to my procrastination repertoire.

Peggle is a game that on Xbox 360 is good, but maybe a little too short. The gameplay is basically **** with special powers. The goal is to destroy some red pegs in the field, and it's incredibly addictive. The game has a cheery atmosphere, but is basically the same game as the PC version with online mode. The graphics are ok, and the soundtrack is ok too, but even then the music when you win is almost humorously epic. Adding almost nothing new in comparison to other PopCap's games, I think you should get the game on the Plants vs Zombies DVD collection that includes this game, Zuma and PvZ, unless you already have some of this games.

Its fun at first but it gets boring fast. This game has been collecting dust in my collection for awhile now. It was fun, played it for atleast 10+ hours. I guess I got my money worth, but it got boring fast.
