Moving Out 2 is an enjoyable game with friends or family, but it can sometimes get a little frustrating. Playing alone can get boring.

Moving Out 2 succeeds in all the ways a sequel should. Keeping the best elements from the first game and interspersing them among a truckful of imaginative levels, Moving Out 2 is bigger, better and whackier than before. The different dimensions offer their own challenges and are aesthetically pleasing even in moments of frustration. The DualSense's subtle use is effective and makes pulling out electrical wires more fun than hazardous. To package all of this together, the writers have put together amusing dialogues which match the lively mechanics, visuals and audio.

Moving Out 2 improves on its predecessor in every single way. The addition of online multiplayer, more level variety and a host of accessibility options make Moving Out 2 one of the best same screen coop multiplayer experiences.

Bold, colourful and entirely silly, Moving Out 2 is a must-play for couch co-op fans. A sequel to 2020’s Moving Out perhaps wasn’t needed, and this doesn’t exactly reinvent the wheel. But it does provide fans with bigger, better, and more riotous levels to play with their friends. And this time, you can play online too! What more could we ask for, really?

Moving Out 2 is an accomplished sequel, building on what made the first game great and really honing in on its presentation and content offering. It's not a radical departure, and not all of its levels are designed equally, but overall this is another feather in SMG Studio's cap.

A sequel that improves the gameplay mechanics of the first Moving Out by heading in new directions, and that expands the amount and complexity of the challenges. In some cases, some immediacy is lost, but the fun is guaranteed, thanks also to the possibility of four-player play in both local and online modes.

Good- Simple and responsive controls; great art style; levels are creative and ripe for replaying with additional challenges; Great online co-op support. Bad- Inessential story; the silly jokes can start to feel redundant after a while. Thoughts- In conclusion, Moving Out 2 is a great sequel that builds on the strong foundations of the original and dials the chaos up to eleven. The level variety is pretty impressive, and the game changes things up with new types of obstacles all in an effort to make moving stuff around a consistently engaging experience. The narrative elements are still mostly filler, though that wouldn’t mean when you are racing against time to get all the boxes back into the truck. If you’re someone who enjoys games such as Overcooked, Moving Out 2 is a game that you should definitely try out.
