Inops
Inops is a charming, yet dark, 2D platformer. It’s paced just right, a relaxingly chilled experience that offers up a spectacular visual journey.
If you’re a platforming fanatic then Inops is going to be a game for you, and it’s nice to see that there is a decent challenge available. I’ve enjoyed what the game has done in the terms of short bursts of fun and interesting gameplay, but certainly found the repetitive elements and unlocking of levels a bit tedious and demoralising at times.

I mean, it's a pretty eh game. It's nothing special, its really just that its just maps, collect, fight and speedrun. Just an overall simple game with a kinda low challenge, but who am I kidding? I spent less than an hour in the game.

I've just completed all the missions and levels with the 3 stars and the 10 inops for each level, was quite difficult, but challenging and annoying, that's was the pinch I was looking at, and for FREE. Perhaps they could do it better, doing more interactions, yet, it suffices..

I had to change my score When I progressed through the game. A good game ruined by a terrible final boss battle. I don't know why indie developers, and even triple AAA developers try so hard to make their games frustratingly ****'s unnecessary. Other than that, the game is good and has great music, but I hate poor game design and the final boss battle is ridiculously stupid.

Inops is a Dark and Moody 2D Sidescroller/Puzzle Platformer. You play as an Inop, a dark orb with the ability to collect more Inops and increase in size, or split up into smaller Inops when needed to pass through tight areas, or split up hit switches. The dark atmosphere and matching soundtrack feel intensely immersive, edged by the neon luminescence that seems to shed the only light in this world, creates a foreboding sense. This game is just as fun, as it is frustrating and demanding. Each Stage has five levels, and an unlockable 6th level, which is a boss fight. To unlock the boss fight you need to collect nine of the ten Inops in each level preceding it. This is NOT an easy task. There are many places where the smallest of Inops can get stuck, all of these places you HAVE to pass through to reach the end of the stage, and with the dark aesthetic traps are sometimes extremely hidden, to the point of feeling cheap. This requires you to memorize the stages, forcing you to replay some of them over and over, and even when you do get that down, there are the unfortunate nitches where Inops will get stuck, some of which you can only pass through once without restarting, and Inops die if they go too far off-screen. Other than this, the puzzles are well thought out, and the stages have a beautiful intricacy about them. Inops is a fun game, and worth the time, despite the few minor hang-ups you can (but may not) face.
