Formula Legends doesn't offer anything relatively new to the genre and may seem like just another indie game trying to mimic the world's premier motorsport category, but fortunately, the attention to detail in fundamental aspects such as the charmingly light visuals, as well as the simple yet deep gameplay, make it a great celebration of the passion of fans of all generations.

Formula Legends may be an indie project, but it’s a well-crafted homage to the golden era of Formula 1. It strikes a balance between arcade accessibility and a layer of strategic nuance, offering smooth, enjoyable gameplay that only suffers from a few lingering bugs. The game is easy to pick up and play, delivering instant fun, yet mastering its vintage machines demands time and dedication. While it won’t go down as a landmark racing title, it provides plenty of entertainment for those who appreciate F1 history and prefer a more relaxed experience over the complexity of ultra-realistic sims. A strong package overall—though the lack of multiplayer is a notable drawback.

A nice surprise, not perfect, but a passionate and entertaining take on Formula 1 world. The well-designed UI genuinely complements the experience, btw.

Great Game, Very fun and addicting. Love both story mode and time attack with leaderboards ranking.

Formula Legends suffers from some pretty annoying structural issues that prevent it from shining as a lighter, yet still challenging, alternative for motorsport enthusiasts. The idea of featuring cars from different eras is welcome and well-explored, as is using Grand Prix races from each era to showcase the evolution of the sport itself. However, a racing game that doesn't hone your driving skills needs to urgently return to the pits for repairs.

Formula Legends is a fun, stylized racer that blends sim and arcade elements surprisingly well. While weak collision detection and texture loading hurt the experience, its €19.99 price tag and F1 charm make it worth a spin for fans.

Formula Legends is a game made with passion, there's no doubt about that. It has no official licenses, nor does it seek to rival the Codemasters series, but it makes up for this with humor, a love for the history of Formula 1, and gameplay that, although uneven, manages to hook you in. Its shortcomings are obvious: the absence of multiplayer, AI balance issues, and certain inconsistencies in the simulation mechanics. It doesn't quite gel as either an arcade game or a simulator. It's a strange but lovable mix that might work if you love this motor sport.

Formula Legends is a love letter to F1, and for fans of the sport, you can’t help but fall for its charms. However, it is a small-scale arcade racer, and you need to temper your expectations when getting into the driver’s cockpit.

Don't let its disarming visuals fool you – Formula Legends is a pretty serious racing game at its core. The problem is, the racing on offer isn't all that fun. Add in a lack of game modes, and you're better off picking up any of the recent official Formula One games – they're more accessible and have features such as multiplayer, after all.

Needs a bit more time in the oven, but enjoyed what I have played so far. If they fix the AI and handling - it's a 10/10 all day long.

Great racing simcade. Great driving system, game is hard and you must learn it, but when mastered it gives you satisfaction. Very inspired art, graphic atmosphere. The only problem is that there are'nt a lot of modes in single player. The core one is good but game need a good carrier mode and maybe a differenciation of cars spechs that are all the same and only difference are the pilots perks...lack of official licences is counterbalanced very good by the irony of design and very good gatmosphere by the artistic audio and graphic design. The strong thing in this game is the very good (simcade) driving sistem
