If you're looking for a deep and thought-provoking gaming experience that changes your outlook on life, look elsewhere. However, if you want a fast-paced, visceral shooter full of non-stop action and outrageous violence, you can't do better than Doom Eternal. If you liked 2016's offering you will love this follow up. It's a hell of a good time.

Por favor el Doom Eternal. No reseño el anterior pero la puntuación seria: Doom 2016: 8.5. Acá no te importa la historia, acá lo que importa es matar con heavy metal. Dios es muy bueno, es que no hay que hablar de otra cosa, porque lo mejor son los jefes y matar los demonios con los temones. Pero es suficiente con eso.Todos los niveles están buenísimos y el juego no para en ningún momento, y eso hace que vos no quieras parar tampoco.Tiene 2 dlcs buenísimos también en donde esta el verdadero final.Y no se me ocurre nada malo ya que todo el juego es eso pero esta tan bien echo que todo vale la pena. Ah y también las zonas secretas y secundarias están bastantes buenas de hacer. Creo que juego mejor para jugar después de tu mayor depresión no hay. Juegardo buenardo.

When I first started playing the game, I got pretty bored. Because it was exactly the same as the previous game. Then, with the new weapons, the game started to diversify, but it wasn't just straightforward diversification; it turned into exploiting the enemies' weak points and using your weapons accordingly. In the first game, they did a great job of taking the simple “shoot and advance” logic and turning the battles into real life-or-death struggles, which I loved. As boring as the first hour or so was, I enjoyed the following hours much more. Because they did such a good job of balancing the character's development and the game's progression, I didn't get bored by the end of the game like I did in the first one. The music is fantastic again, and the optimization is top-notch.

Uno dei miei giochi preferiti di sempre e uno degli sparatutto più divertenti che abbia mai giocato. Il gameplay è velocissimo, frenetico e ti costringe a muoverti continuamente mentre combatti contro tanti demoni diversi usando armi sempre differenti. La varietà di armi e nemici rende ogni combattimento molto dinamico e difficile da trovare ripetitivo. Le uccisioni spettacolari sono una delle cose più soddisfacenti del gioco e rendono le battaglie ancora più intense. Anche i boss sono molto belli da affrontare. Una delle cose che mi piace di più è anche la colonna sonora: le musiche sono potentissime e tra le mie preferite nei videogiochi, perfette per accompagnare l’azione e rendere i combattimenti ancora più adrenalinici. La grafica è ottima e il design dei demoni è fantastico. Anche la storia riesce a incuriosire e il Doom Slayer è un protagonista davvero iconico.

The result is a dozen levels that span an incredibly diverse range of locations that eclipse everything you can see in DOOM (2016) in just the first couple hours. Double jump, dash, and wall climbing create the opportunity for platforming puzzles and sprawling worlds that the developers have maximized to their full potential.

It seems difficult to think that the Doom franchise can raise its level of intensity even further, but it certainly does. Not only are all the additions welcome, but we can no longer imagine Doom without them.

DOOM Eternal is gorgeous to behold, a technological tour-de-force and an exciting new chapter in the Doom narrative, but it's not quite as fun to play as DOOM 2016. The problem is not that DOOM Eternal is too hard, rather it is too hard unless you play by its specific rules, which, for all its mechanical complexity, makes its combat chess less freeform and satisfying than its predecessors.

Following up on an already excellent game like Doom 2016 is no easy task. Doom Eternal however, manages to kick it's precursor on all counts. The world is more engaging and varied in design. The monsters are rawer and bloodier while the weapons are more imaginative and have tons of modifications. Too bad that we also have to build our character in a role-playing like mode and are forced to watch the uninteresting story. It slows down an otherwise near excellent adrenaline-filled rush of a game.

It can be tedious and exhausting. Its faux angst and exuberance and hellstory can be grating. It’s probably a level or two too long. But in the end, there’s something so lovable about Doom Eternal, so endearingly goofy about the gory glory kills, so affectionate in the way a monster looks at me cross-eyed as I shove a blade up through its chin and out of the top of its skull. The conventional wisdom is that the monsters in this rebooted Doom gameplay are resources, and what I call shortage is just the necessary harvesting of a monster crop. But more to the point, they’re my playmates in this hopped-up jungle gym with its trampolines and swing bars and tunnels. We’re all in this together to make a colorful over-the-top playground with blaring metal music and blazing quick movement and splatter gunplay and chainsawyering. It’s enough to win over even the coldest critical heart.

Good but not great . . . Lost some of the appeal in the push to one-up the previous chapter. Still a good stand-alone game but just felt like it wasn't doing its best.

My first Doom game, I played the first Doom game but didn't finish it. The gameplay is amazing and satisfying but gets tiring after a while. The addition of multiple weapons and specific enemies for them is fun, but it is hard to switch between the weapons since I use the number key. Exploration is good. Since I played this first, I have no idea about the story. I tried to understand, but at the end, I just understood that the Doom Slayer is the kind of guy that just gets the job done. Overall, it's good.

the game does not allow you to shoot with your favorite weapon, there is a constant lack of ammo, the game forces you to carry around with a chainsaw to knock out some ammo only to carry around with a chainsaw again after a while. very annoying platforming, the game is overloaded with question marks, unnecessary upgrade system. the game has an extremely overloaded interface, which makes the game more of a moba, since without regular use of abilities you will not pass it. doom eternal is extremely monotonous. from the advantages, the appearance of the locations can be highlighted, some tracks contain excellent guitar riffs, although a minority of them, most of the ost is generic industrial.

Well well first try on the doom serie and I must say it didn't went so good. Yeah david gordon is out there in the clouds and the musics are dope but the other aspects tho .. I dropped after a few hours, I didn't enjoyed at all the gameplay. Coming from fast games like apex I got disapointed pretty fast with doom. Yes it goes fast but you'd better like glory kills and constant interruptions during your gameplay because otherwise you're as screwed as me. More than cutting off your gameflow it's a boring unskilled mechanic to my opinion. Got also disappointed by the AD, it sticks to it's origins yeah but the consequence is that I felt it was oldschool af in term of design environement and creature wise, disapointed. Sorry Doom I come too late for you glory.
