It's hard to stay mad at Chocobo GP, though, even when you're hit with what feels like an endless barrage of magic. The game's just too bright and cheerful. Obviously, your mileage is going to depend on whether you're a fan of Chocobo. Not just Final Fantasy, but also this specific series of cute mascot characters. If you are, though, you couldn't ask for a more loving treatment. The expansive roster, the adorable presentation, and the quality kart racing mechanics will combine to give you something that you just might prefer over Mario Kart. The latter might be a bigger and tighter racing experience, but Chocobo GP has a killer weapon up its sleeve that makes all the difference: Chocobo.

Chocobo GP is an entertaining game and is good karting at its core, however to unlock most of its content the user is required to play through its single player story mode. This makes the game feel very limited, especially in a genre whose main essence is to compete with other users. Still, the characters are charismatic, references to Final Fantasy and Chocobo spin offs bring a smile. The strategic mechanics of using items and the unique abilities of each racer give depth to the gameplay. The tracks are varied and fun to ride. The tunes are catchy, and the game is generally nice looking. This game is recommended for fans of Final Fantasy, for those looking for a future-evolving online experience, or for fans of Chocobo Racing on the first PlayStation, but it is worth noting that, In the end, Chocobo GP is a delightful experience that in many ways feels half-baked.

Chocobo GP does some things that Nintendon’t, offering a Story mode and a more stimulating item system than the untouchable Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. However only Final Fantasy veterans (and their kids) need apply, as it relies heavily on nostalgia—and season pass grinding.

Chocobo GP has the makings of a great kart racer with its diverse cast of specialized racers, excellent power-up combos, and terrific visuals. However, uninspired track design and excessive microtransactions mar the experience.

Chocobo GP has many good ideas and is full of potential, but it lacks ambition, which results in a game that relies too much on its franchise.

Overall, Chocobo GP has a lot to offer players, but the sheer amount of in-app purchases and popular characters being locked behind a paywall is frustrating after buying the game itself. It has potential, but these issues need sorting.

It's possible that Chocobo GP could become a respectable kart racer in the future, and the free-to-play version means everyone can try it out without needing to spend any cash. As it stands, the game needs work, as the current product just isn't fun. The spells and abilities need to be toned down and the tracks need redoing or replacing. There is no shortage of kart racers on the market, especially on Nintendo Switch, and there are much better alternatives available right now than Chocobo GP in its current state.

Chocobo GP Il videogioco ispirato a Mario Kart con regole di Final Fantasy Il gioco in se non è male è un bel gioco ispirato proprio alle Regole di Mario Kart e compreso offre una bellissima parte online che è molto ben fatta è originale, le piste non sono male ispirate al mondo di Final Fantasy. Ho notato che si finisce molto in fretta riguardate la storia, anche se è fatta per un pubblico per piccini che si basa sul mondo delle Corse per dimostrare che il pilota più bravo del mondo di gioco e che ha una durata complessiva di tre Ore per finire la storia e può rigiocarla in due modi: 1) principiante e quella base per dare spazio hai principianti di conoscere le piste. 2) Professionista è quella che dovete arrivare sempre per primi ma l’intelligenza artificiale è più attiva e si comporta come l’online ma il ritmo è molto veloce. Offre anche una modalità extra che permette di sbloccare altri biglietti che consentono di spendere per prendere **** nella storia compreso vari SKIN e vetture aggiuntive. Compreso c’è la possibilità di giocare in Locale oppure fare delle prove a tempo per conoscere al pieno i tracciati del gioco. Parliamo al livello Grafico su Nintendo Switch: Al punto di vista dei tracciati sono ben colorati e ispirati al mondo di Final Fantasy troviamo Alexandria, Gould Saucer, La pista dedicata su CID, Chocobo e tanto altro che sono molto ben colorate e fatte molto bene che rendono un’atmosfera viva però purtroppo c’è un rovescio della medaglia su questo ho notato cali di frame rate e certe volte blocco sullo schermo per elevati modelli poligonali o animazioni che interrompono la scena e poi si riprende dopo pochi secondi e speriamo con vari patch saranno risolte, i **** vengono da una versione del gioco chiamato Dissidia Opera Ommia e ho riconosciuto i vari modelli da Cid, Steiner, Cloud e Squall e altri **** che vengono li con versioni restaurate che su switch con le texture e i veicoli sono molto ben caratterizzati e originali. Anche la sua colonna sonora non è male è molto ben caratterizzata Parliamo della Parte Online: Riguardante come Torneo e il suo funzionamento che potete scontrare in tutto il mondo fino massimo 64 giocatori che possono essere i migliori 8 piloti nella scalata, ed ottima cosa e permette al giocatore di fare molte ore di sfide finche non sia il migliore nel suo percorso e compreso offre molto varietà che cambiano totalmente i giocatori che potete sfidare in tutto il mondo quindi non è region Locked Locale ma potete incontrare Cinesi, Giapponesi, Coreani e tante ****. Il punto criticato sono le micro transazioni: Se parliamo riguardante sulle micro transazioni che il gioco è diviso in due fasi di rilascio tra il modello FREE TO PLAY (Quello LITE offre solo la PARTE online), e quello Completo che costa 50€ e sblocca la campagna Single Player e quella Locale da fare in due o quattro giocatori. Il giocatore non è obbligato ad utilizzare la moneta di gioco riguardante che molte cose può sbloccare benissimo nella campagna single player una mangiata di ore può sbloccare già dei billetta aggiuntivi che permettono di comprare ****, skin, e le vetture per la storia per renderlo a 100%, ma riguardante sui Gil e il Mitrhil si accumulano giocando nella parte online facendo le sfide richieste quindi non è obbligatorio spendere, se volete spendere potete fare per sbloccare tutto ma è facoltativo.

I love the gameplay, it's really fun and addictive, but the whole season pass day 1 dlc thing and pretty much being forced to play online if you want to unlock everything, really puts a damper on the whole experience. Still enjoying the game, it's built incredibly well and definitely a lot different from Mario Kart, but the whole microtransaction thing just ruins what would be perfect otherwise.

This is not cute, not good, not pretty, not funny, not cool, not amazing, not a blast, but it’s HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

Its a lot lot lot worst than the first game,thanks for ruining my childhood,the kart is too slow and stiff,big,the camera too zoomed in,the team must never played the first one before,truly insane and stupid.. hard to believe, its like human brain going backward and worst than 90s era
