Ultimately, our main issue with Buzz! Master Quiz is that it's an almost completely redundant package. Solo mode isn't substantial enough to maintain your interest for long and multiplayer options are so peculiarly arranged that the real meat of the series is pretty much lost.

As fun as it is in short bursts, it's nowhere near as complete and enjoyable as one of the home console games when played with friends.

Limited multiplayer options and a decidedly shallow single-player side weigh down trivia king Buzz's portable debut.

It is a solid trivia game. The trivia questions are pretty good. But the overall environment of the game is a little bit boring. Because of that, sometimes I'm getting tired of playing this game. It's a good game but "Buzz! Quiz World" is better than this one.

It's fun to pick up and play whenever you have a moment, but with the lowered production values you might have just as much fun with a mobile trivia game.

Trivia fans who find themselves constantly on the go or at least ready for some portable action every now and again should pick this one up.

The developers at Relentless Software have put a huge effort into ensuring the franchise gets a worthy portable version. It isn't going to set the world on fire, but as far as hand-held quiz shows go, this has to be at the top of the list.

It might not be worth playing if you have a console copy of BUZZ! in your home, but for long road trips or prolonged ventures outside the house, it’s definitely worth looking into.

It might go some way to negating the slightly impersonal feeling of Master Quiz, too. The format is always fun and yet, as polished as the presentation is, this PSP version is a little bit Every Second Counts to the PS3's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

When a succesfull game is ported to a different platform it doesn't necessarily means that it's going to work. Especially with a game like the Buzz! series. Ment to be a party game, there is not mucht left to party on a PSP when you're all by yourself. And handing over your PSP in the multiplayer modus isn't going to fix that. This Buzz is going out with a sizzle.
