Great story and intriguing plot twists, complete with graphical and aural pleasures, will keep you coming back for more.

I wasn’t overly impressed with the weak storyline and drab voice acting, but I must give kudos to any game that scares the hell out of me. If it weren’t for that, this game would easily rate a 65.

While it wasn't "Undying" scary, it definitely had some moments that made me jump and scream like Tal when he got his... well, nevermind. All in all, if you're a fan of this type of game, there's a good chance you'll like it.

It’s been done before and it’s been done better.

Despite its many bugs and flaws, the game is still fun to play when it works. The combat is rather uninspired, but it serves to add to the atmosphere. The amount of frustration you'll find in the game should be noted, however.

Something that every fan of horror gaming in general--and the original Alone in the Dark series in particular--should check out.

Suspense is what makes movies and games scary. Alone 4 is seriously lacking this important attribute.

But as a PC game that feels like a port, especially with the save game method, it’s only good not great or excellent.

I understand that the game had not been developed in an English speaking country, but they could have at least found one male and one female actor with decent pronunciation.

AID:TNN comes off, despite its graphical wizardry, a little…sophomoric. The majority of the cinematic cuts and voice acting are god-awful-bad, and not even in that charming, maybe-they-meant-it, B-movie "Resident Evil" way.
