Game is def fun however i have over 130 hours into the game and i logged in one day last week and my account was age restricted i contacted ncplay and purple and neither one will do anything for me they can't/won't unlock my account I bought the game before it was free i also bought the passes and they wont refund me for any of that. They have very poor customer service and seems like no control over their own game. so for this i have to give them a 1

A Massive Disappointment Strangled by Mobile Game Mechanics Rating: 2/5 (Only for the graphics)The verdict is simple: this game is pure frustration. The developers have placed limitations absolutely everywhere, completely ruining the overall experience and the core freedom of a MMORPG. Under the guise of fighting bots, the game is actually packed with aggressive mechanics designed to push you to pay. What ruins the game:
• Subscription-Gated Auction House (AH): If you are like me and love farming resources to sell them and trade, forget about it right now. Access to the Auction House is locked behind a paywall. This is an unacceptable choice.
• Limited Dungeon Farming: Thought you could chain dungeons to get geared up? No way. The developers put a cap on rewards. It feels exactly like the energy systems found in crappy mobile games.
• The Jungle of Multiple Currencies: The game overwhelms you with a mind-boggling amount of different currencies. It is so convoluted and poorly designed that you don't even know what half of them are for. Honestly, it just makes you want to close the game rather than try to figure it out.
• A Completely Unfair Loot System: Unlike most MMOs where just participating in the fight is enough to get loot, here, the drops go to whoever deals the majority of the damage. If you play a Tank or a Healer in the open world, your loot will get stolen constantly by DPS classes. An absolute aberration of game design. The only decent (but superficial) points: • The game is undeniably beautiful graphically.• The character designs will please fans of revealing outfits.
• Leveling up is a complete brain-off experience: it is a straight highway mixing main and side quests, made effortless by auto-pathing.Conclusion:Reaching level 45, the verdict is final. Once the campaign is over, the endgame is nothing but a wall of frustrating limitations. I am switching games today. They can shove their subscription where the sun don’t shine. Stay away.

Context: F2P with subscription only, single character, started on release on October 5th. Currently 104 hours played, 2700 GS, 130k CP, and every piece of content cleared at least once. CRITIQUE:
Basically MMO slop. Possibly the most generic MMO you will ever play.
This game does nothing new, nothing extraordinary, and nothing particularly special. It's as formulaic as an MMO can possibly get. And it screams "mobile game" at every corner, because that's essentially what it is: a mobile game trying to disguise itself as a PC game. PROS: - Good visuals and decent performance. The game looks good and runs reasonably well.
- Fluid gameplay. Movement feels responsive, and combat animations are snappy. - Excellent character creator. Easily one of the game's strongest features.
- Crafting actually matters. It's integrated into pretty much every aspect of the game and is worth engaging with.
- Expeditions and Transcendence Dungeons are mostly enjoyable.
- Satisfying progression. There are plenty of different systems that contribute to your character's power, making progression feel rewarding. Granted, this is largely a benefit of playing at launch, when there's still a ton of progression to go through.
- A reasonably utilized open world. Not everything is locked behind instanced content, which is nice. CONS: - Horrendous monetization. Let's be real, this game is not free to play. The $15 subscription is effectively mandatory if you want to keep up with gear progression. Yet even then, the game remains blatantly pay to win. With a credit card, you can buy your way to pretty much any level of power, with very few meaningful limitations. - Ridiculously simplistic combat. Gameplay gets painfully unengaging after a few hours. Most of the time, you're holding down a macro, dodging when necessary, and trying to maintain as much uptime on the boss as possible. That's pretty much it. The combat quickly becomes stale and repetitive, with very little mechanical depth to keep you engaged. - Terrible class design. When the combat itself is this simplistic, class identity suffers as well. Most classes end up playing relatively similarly, with little to distinguish their moment to moment gameplay. - Absurd levels of repetition. If you thought doing 18 raids a week in Lost Ark was too much, despite its incredible combat and class design, you're not ready for this game. Aion 2 expects you to run 30+ raids per week despite having far less engaging gameplay. And if you don't pay for the subscription? That number can go beyond 60. The core endgame loop with combat this lackluster simply cannot revolve around running the same raids over and over again. - RNG everywhere. Almost every progression system boils down to farming the same content repeatedly and praying for a good roll. It's a lottery at every turn. If you get unlucky, reaching pity can take an absurd amount of time, with some systems requiring 42 runs of the same dungeon. The energy system makes the whole experience feel even worse than Lost Ark or WoW. Crafting is probably the biggest offender here. - Awful UI/UX. The mobile game DNA is painfully obvious throughout the interface. Menus, systems, and overall usability feel like they were designed around mobile first and adapted to PC as an afterthought. - Terrible leveling experience. It's entirely solo, with plenty of unnecessary backtracking, especially during side quests. It's tedious, poorly paced, and does very little to encourage playing with friends, despite a decent productioin value (cinematics). - Abysmal PvP. There is virtually no population balancing or gear equalization, making PvP a complete pay to win mess. And yet, because this is Aion, PvP remains an important and very rewarding part of the game. Good luck competing with people who can simply outspend you. Not to mention the negative amount of skill expression in PVP due to the combat system being mobile-tier. - You can't play the game without a support in parties. And nobody plays support. This results in lobby finder simulator lasting for hours, in a game where you need to do 50 dungeon runs a week. Terrible design. CONCLUSION I'd say Aion 2 is worth playing for around 100 to 200 hours at launch. Beyond that, I struggle to see much of a reason to stick around.
The combination of predatory monetization, excessive repetition, RNG driven progression, and lackluster combat makes it hard to imagine this game holding my interest in the long run.
My advice? Hop in, spend a few weeks enjoying the launch experience with your friends, explore as much of the content as you reasonably can, and then move on.
There's some fun to be had here, especially while everything is still fresh. Just don't expect a particularly deep or sustainable MMO experience once the honeymoon phase wears off.

Make no mistake: this game is exceptional. The world is vast and beautiful, the music is sumptuous, and the gameplay is fast-paced and addictive (in the best possible way). The passionate artistic teams have delivered a true gem here. HOWEVER, the corporate machine that is NCSoft has tainted this work of art with every conceivable addictive mechanic—it becomes truly sickening over time. I personally spent about sixty hours of pure enjoyment, reaching an item level of 1600, only to hit a brick wall: a system of monetization, daily quotas, and content deliberately designed to drain your energy, your time, and your money. NCSoft, back in the day, I played *Lineage 2* and the original *Aion* (2009)—monumental titles in the world of video games and online multiplayer. But if all you have to offer today is a casino disguised as an MMO, then I’m out. My advice if you want to give it a try: "Play for free just for the fun of it, and stop the moment you feel like getting your credit card out. It is where the real game/nightmare begins."

It is an MMO, with all the flaws of this genre. It is very grindy and there is also the pay to win option. How ever the pay to win does not affect the non pay to win players, since the game is mostly PVE and you can ignore the little PVP part of it almost entirely. I give it a 10/10 because it is very well made for this type of games. A perfect time-killer game, with very high QOL elements, very automated and can offer a very relaxing gameplay experience for hours every day. I pay the monthly subscription and I also like to buy some skins but no need for pay-to-win at all. Of course, if you feel more competitive and want some adrenaline, you can always go some PVP. Personally 80% of my game is relaxing PVE, solo or with instant parties for dungeons and world bosses. Of course the visual part of the game is astonishing, one of the best, in all MMO or offline games.

People say that there are games that are 1 button games but are actually more complex then they seem, then there is this game where you can legit setup your ENTIRE CHARACTERS ROTATION WITH ONE SINGULAR BUTTON.

These "game designers" of AI on 2 are the **** of the gaming industry. Generative AI images, AI sounds, and AI everything. Pay to win too. They commit every crime there is to commit when making a game. Boycott them and spread any hate you can... they deserve it.

So far so good, this game is bringing back what we loved about character creation. Sexy female characters with chest sliders...will update after i play more, MMORPG's tend to take quite a lot of time to get through.

What a beautifully created Game, with wonderful landscapes and music to get lost in. Leveling is fairly quick, but afterwards you have a plethora of different systems to indulge in and which can keep the gameloop diverse and satisfying. After about 40 hours I cleared all of the "once and done" content, seen most of the open Worlds. Every few hundred Gearscore new dungeons and raids open up, as used to with Asia MMOs. I feel like the content could be a tiny tid deeper and two or three more hidden fun mechanics, like treasure maps or island from Lost Ark wouldve made this game a 10/10. (*Edit* I'm still giving the 10 instead of 9 to balance out some of the 0 Ratings here. Made by people that clearly have no idea what they're talking about. Tastes can differ and you can give low ratings, but a 0 is just absurd and not a real rating but a bashing out of spite.) But it is incredible how much highly polished and addicting content you can get here for FREE. Dont listen to the people shouting "Pay 2 Win" after having played two hours and having seen absolutely nothing. Most ordinary players will never be concerned with the Paid stuff anyways.

Really enjoying the game so far. The combat feels smooth, the world looks great, and there’s a lot to explore. It still has some things that could be improved, but overall, it’s been a fun MMORPG experience. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into the genre.

i usually don´t give 0 ratings but this is well deserved imo. It´s a soulless Asia grinder. Super boring - all you do is beat brainless NPC´s, that´s all. No housing, no interesting quests, no farming, useless crafting.
P2W, almost all content is only solo. Typlical gam from NCslop
