You need to go into your BIOS and fiddle with the interior settings of the System, potentially bricking your entire PC just to play this game?! I have never seen worse customer service, this is beneath horrific, shame on EA. Glad I didn't buy this insult of a product, but just tried (to start) it, with Gamepass subscription. EA is really the worst of the worst.

What a beautifully created Game, with wonderful landscapes and music to get lost in. Leveling is fairly quick, but afterwards you have a plethora of different systems to indulge in and which can keep the gameloop diverse and satisfying. After about 40 hours I cleared all of the "once and done" content, seen most of the open Worlds. Every few hundred Gearscore new dungeons and raids open up, as used to with Asia MMOs. I feel like the content could be a tiny tid deeper and two or three more hidden fun mechanics, like treasure maps or island from Lost Ark wouldve made this game a 10/10. (*Edit* I'm still giving the 10 instead of 9 to balance out some of the 0 Ratings here. Made by people that clearly have no idea what they're talking about. Tastes can differ and you can give low ratings, but a 0 is just absurd and not a real rating but a bashing out of spite.) But it is incredible how much highly polished and addicting content you can get here for FREE. Dont listen to the people shouting "Pay 2 Win" after having played two hours and having seen absolutely nothing. Most ordinary players will never be concerned with the Paid stuff anyways.

I'd give a 9.5 and ill round up to 10. This is game made by adults for adults. Its a very dark and immersive fantasy settings, with moral dilemmas and excellently written, multi-faceted characters. A challenging but very enjoyable combat system meets a plethora of great quests with impactful choices. The Developers deliver with their debut since splitting form CD Project and I am so glad I found something that can pick up on what Witcher 3 delivered.

I think its an 8.5 which ill round up to 9 since I feel theres quite a bit of very subjective review bombing going on here, which is unjustified. You have good to great writing, with a lot of choices that significantly impact your playthrough and NPCs will actually remember your choices and react to them. Also you can mostly freely choose what character to play, to be an antihero as well ****. (Looking at you Veilguard) The world is build absolutely gorgeous, with a great and intricate level design that truly rewards exploring each corner of this marvelously detailed and lovely crafted mini - open worlds. The actual game loop is then more akin to a classic Dungeon Crawler than to a GTA Style Open World. Combat is fast and fluid, definitely the best from any Obsidian / Bethesda Game. You find tons of legendary items and are free to combine any weapons, level up your spells and have fun demolishing your enemies, all the while its a quite challenging game, even on normal difficulty. Especially then, when you move into "higher level" areas then where you are right now. But you can manage within the depths of the mechanics to survive and win. Coming from a Soulsborne player. All and all Im very grateful for this being a day 1 Gamepass release, so for all subscribers its a must try or play for all others maybe wait for discounts unless its the exact game that you want to play.

A Masterpiece for what it aims to be. The first game was already amazing and this improves in every single regard. This is not a game for the TikTok Generation, thats easily accessible and learnable. Its a realistic Medieval Sim like there hasn't been one before. It is a gritty and difficult game in which you need to eat dirt in order to improve. The presentation, the graphics, the atmosphere, the combat, the world, the characters, the stories, the side quests almost everything is perfect, its an incredible game. And it runs smoothly on highest settings on my 1070ti while looking absolutely stunning, can you imagine that!? 10/10, a Masterpiece.

A perfect 5 - Mediocre And thats a huge disappointment. After Baldurs Gate 3 set the bar into the sky, Bioware brings it right back into the dirty mud of Fortnite graphics, modern political correctness and the huffy puffy feeling of irrelevance of actions. A desperate grab for a new audience while completely forgetting ones own roots and late core player base. Instead we get a streamlined, hand holding, Pixar esque, family friendly, mediocre popcorn cinema experience. Just that it lacks the finesse **** Pixar movie. Its just so sad that another once great series gets corrupted by modern agendas and more importantly such bland, lifeless, unsophisticated writing. It really feels like I'm watching a cheap children's Tuesday afternoon cartoon series, its that bad. Conversations feel so unrealistic, so fake, so plasticly constructed, so far away from what this series once was. Encounter feel grabbed out of thin air, the world lacks every ounce of credibility and soul. The things that make this game still a 5, is that in its core, its a pretty and decent enough looter slasher ARPG. I just had to quit because I couldn't endure the conversations anymore. And no its not okay **** needs like 15 hours to eventually become better, that no time that I have, nor would be willing to give to this utterly and disappointingly mediocre experience.

This reviewbombing of salty Playstation fanboys is really unworthy of such a brilliant game. On Steam where only VERIFIED purchases can rate the game, it's sitting at a more reasonable 81. For me its even better than that because I rate the game for what it is and not what it could've been. It is a huge sprawling Space RPG with tons and tons of ordinary, brilliant and comedic stories and secrets. With just a little effort and imagination it even becomes an immersive space simulation which really demonstrates the sheer vast endlessness and size of our universe and all that includes. If you could seamless transition between space and planets and if there would be a tad more to do with your spaceship it'd be a 10/10.
