It was completely fine. Perfectly pleasant, even. Twelve-year-old Celina Smith, who starred as orphan Annie, was clearly the breakout star and often surpassed the singing ability of the adults around her.

It’s actually far from perfect. The revival has four 90-minute chapters, and it turns out that 42-minute episodes were the perfect amount of time before the famously sparkling dialogue and wacky plotlines start to drag--and characters’ flaws go from endearing to irritating. ... With extended time and producers’ creative freedom, it’s a veritable buffet of every “Gilmore” experience imaginable.

This is, without a doubt, a show for and about teens.

It’s hard to put into words the level of stupidity that I Wanna Marry Harry reaches.

Though the series drags whenever it becomes bogged down in political aspects of the fight, it’s inherently entertaining to see such back-stabbing, and possibly literal stabbing, between supposed loved ones.

Certain elements of Below Deck, a listless docu-series that follows the staff of a 164-foot charter boat, seem so scripted--the stereotypical spoiled crew members, the neatly wrapped-up “plotlines”--that it’s hard to take seriously, even in the dubious cable reality show genre.

In the first two episodes, the show has enough momentum to offer some promise, even if Cherry’s vehicles tend to start strong and go off the rails quickly.

Except for the chance to hear a few country classics, the movie doesn’t offer much else.

Whether or not the shows ["Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life" and What Would Ryan Lochte Do?] are good is almost irrelevant (both fall in the category of "entertaining in an aggressively mediocre way").
