Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant4

Interesting plot drown in bad cinematography, boring music, unrealistic action scenes and unconsistent pace. Guy Ritchie, welcome to the direct to streaming world !

John Wick: Chapter 48

W.T.F. - jaw dropping action scenes. So much fighting going on you forget what's been happening story wise. But hell, it's a movie about the most charismatic assassin getting revenge for the death of his dog 4 films in a row, what did you expect ?

Beautiful movie. Rare to see such a simple yet touching piece. Work of art.

So many emotions felt for so little dialogue shows how these nostalgic memories are an integral part of our beings and how they semi-consciously shape our characters as we mature and develop.

Cocaine Bear3

Saying that the best performance award of the movie goes to the CGI bear is an understatement. Neither funny nor interesting except for two action scenes. Very surprising OST that brings even more confusion to the 'genre' of the movie. Disappointing because the material could have been used for either a very funny comedy or a bit darker thriller/survival.

Avatar: The Way of Water6

Spectacular CGI, directing on point and interesting emotional sequences, but too much similarities with the first one, absurd plot and mostly boring characters. Unclear message about violence, and after the conclusion feels like half of what should have been in the movie has been kept for the next ones.
Overall has more to do with Disneyland than real cinema experience.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery5
Dec 26, 2022
A bunch of good/ok ideas (love/hate relationships, dumbness appearing as talent in contemporary world, big flashback for the third act...) mixed together without a real binder, sometimes entertaining but mostly forgettable due to average acting (except for Norton) and lack of real directing ambition. Pretty different from knives out as it is less a murder mystery plot rather than a satiric comedy.
And also wtf with the accents...
