Game survives on trendy tik tok videos and skins. The game is wall to wall full of cheating and the developer won't ever do anything about it. All they care about is selling battle passes to streamers and 9 year olds with their parents credit card. The only 3 percent of people that ever win matches are the ones running aim and invincibility cheats and the streamers who literally play the game 19 hours a day, and that's who they make you play against, because there is literally NO matchmaking so they have to play against each other. **** that game companies and development teams are all garbage now and have zero integrity in the games they make.

In the realm of visual novels and similar types of games, Our Life continues to stand out as something very special. The game is as "cozy" as you can get and creates a place you wish you could just jump into your screen and escape to. The game centers around your life growing up with a new kid in town, Cove, your family, friends, and other characters. You get four stages in your young life to participate in moments, like trips to parks or parties, just events that happen during each summer. Throughout these events you help Cove, a child of divorce who was displaced from his original home and is unhappy, and interact with other characters. As the summers and years progress, you can further your relationship goals with Cove (in the free main game) or with a couple of other great characters through some very cheap DLC that were added later; this takes it into the realm of dating sim. Or you can just remain friends or acquaintances. The story gives you total control over who you are and how your life is shaped with Cove and other characters. The game is fully inclusive and includes characters of many backgrounds, which will make certain people instantly mad. Basically if you can't stand that there are other people in the world that may not be like you, then no, this isn't for you. The art is great, the music is repetitive but pleasant, the game remembers things about you as the story progresses. And if you get so interested in it, it can culminate to a marriage story through the last DLC. This game shouldn't even be free, it's worth paying for, but for some reason it is. The only thing you have to pay for is the DLC additional stories and character extensions. So even if you try it and aren't into it, you aren't out anything at all. But again, I haven't found nearly any game like this one, which keeps it very special in the genre and gaming in general. There is also a sequel in the works, which I can't wait for.

Devs lie about their engagement matchmaking, or EOMM, which makes the games a coin flip and either you're getting stomped or you're stomping, there are no equal matches. When you lose, it's people on your team literally running out solo and instantly dying repeatedly, getting zero kills, standing out in the open basically throwing, while the enemy will be celestial level players getting 30 kills. The game also has a rising cheating problem which the devs refuse to even address. Troll players in a growing number of matches are using aim, invincibility, and other cheats, and nothing happens to them. It's OBVIOUS. People surviving point blank Ultimate atacks, being hit by your entire team and their health bar not moving. People just spinning and auto locking you when they didn't even know you were there. The devs WILL NOT actually ban anyone from the game. You can use cheats, throw, smurf, call people whatever you want using bigoted language, all they'll do is "limit their competitive matchmaking" for a while. They'll just log out and be back later. All Netease cares about is using the Marvel brand to sell skins until this dies. They put out 3 or 4 battlepasses to buy, WHILE there is still a battlepass you've already paid for. They put NO effort into reverse the garbage "matchmaking" or stopping the cheating and smurfing making the game unplayable for anyone but trolls. This game could be SO good, the artists do their job well, as with most games, but the people running the rest don't care about literally anything but making a quick buck off Captain America and crew.

Would be fun if there wasn't so much absolute garbage wrong with it. From the start, the game tells you almost NOTHING about how to play and what you are supposed to do. You have to spend so much time watching Youtube you won't have any time to actually play. If you get paired up with a team of 50 and above level players, get ready to have nothing to do because they'll find and kill everything before you get a chance to as you try to keep up with them and figure out what they are even doing. Wanna try going out solo or with another beginner friend then? Nope.. even "easy" missions spawn endless armies of freaking bugs out of thin air that surround you and make sure you can't complete objectives or call down orbital strikes or resupplies. Kill those bugs? Don't worry.. there are FIRE TORNADOES that don't just randomly move around the map, they FOLLOW YOU and try to surround you lighting the entire ground on fire. There will literally be 6 or 7 fire tornadoes that surround your extraction point so you die and can't get on a ship to **** that not enough? Guess what.. right as you somehow avoid all that and are about to get the extraction ship, the game will just SHUT DOWN, CRASH and the last 15 to 20 minutes of game you played is GONE.Haven't even mentioned friendly fire including all the turrets and bomb strikes you teammates will kill you with. And don't hit that reload button like you do in every other game. You will throw out any of the already limited ammo in the clip.I can't give this game a good review because there is just so much BS that combines to usually be more frustrating than fun.

It's free and that's about it. Gameplay is horribly unbalanced, from weapons to abilities. There's only one or two guns you can use or you won't kill anyone ever. Game has zero matchmaking, just "input matching", which is just stupid. That's not matchmaking, that's just grouping controller players together. Because of this the game is just full of the typical F2P sweaty tryhards that play 14 hours a day, making it impossible for casual players to sit down and enjoy the game at all. I don't know why it's hard for games like this to say: this guy is getting 60 kills per game, we can put him in a higher rank game, these guys are getting 10-20 kills a game, we can put them in a lower lobby. Maps look pretty decent, but who cares when it's just not fun to play the game when you come home from work and want to blow off some steam. "Battlepass" is lackluster giving you some weapon skins you won't pay attention to and costumes you'll never see. I wouldn't give a game like this a dime anyway. Shooters use to be fun to sit down and play, now if it isn't a career choice there's no point playing because these companies won't put in realistic matching for games. This will be gone in a year just like every other quick cashgrab shooter that comes out multiple times a year.

The idiots who now run Activision/Blizzard basically ran any dev for the game out if they had integrity and wanted to make a good game, and what is left is a group who is dedicated to the corporate friendly, cashgrab, profits for shareholders model. Gone is one of the best IPs in gaming, OW1, which had amazing world and character design, fun team play, and awesome character lore, as slow as it was. OW2 is a shell of the former game, using the creativity of the first game to milk the players of every dime they can. Instead of another game you just buy, it's now a supposed Free-to-play model. What the Free to play model does is bring people in who didn't care to ever buy OW1 but now have a free game to mess around in, in the hopes that eventually the company will convince them to pay money. First, what this has done is ruined the matches, as a flood of players who don't care about the Overwatch team play now run rampant, trolling, throwing matches, feeding as badly played heroes, and taking any true competition out of the game. Next, you'd think eventually matchmaking would keep these players out of the games of people who are serious about playing Overwatch, but no. Activision has implemented matchmaking that purposely creates games where new and bad players are put with skilled players or higher level players to try to convince them that if they have all the cosmetics the longtime, good players have, they will win games. The monetized instead of skill based matchmaking creates terrible games where one team is always steamrolled into the ground with little effort. Monetization, in principal, wouldn't be bad. Yes, if the game is to have ongoing content, it will have to be paid for. But that's what the newly introduced battlepasses should be doing. Multiple times a year they want players to buy the battlepass to receive the cosmetics that once were earned through gameplay lootboxes and currency. Now that we've seen the battlebass system and prepaid for the first one, it's clear that they are creating cheap and low quality content (namecards, uninteresting voicelines, sprays you'll never use, "souvenirs") for the part of the game that should be keeping the game going, and have added a shop to put all of the cosmetics that players will ACTUALLY want behind a SECOND paywall. Not only is it bad enough that supporting the game through the battlepasses all year gets you none of the desired rewards, but the prices are insane. One character skin will run you $20-30, the price of many full games. And to ever earn enough of the currency you must have to buy one of these skins through the battlepass, it will take over 8 months. Now that they don't let you earn event skins, the first even which would have been "Halloween", is a hollow, repetitive PvE board that builds on the always recycled Junkenstein, except there's no point in really playing it after a few times. The fun of the events was always to play knowing you were earning the very well made skins, voicelines, sprays, ect, and it was exciting to get that lootbox every few games hoping you'd have a new unlock. Now all they are offering for grinding the PvE level is a couple sprays and a charm. The only two new skins aren't very good, and all of the previous years holiday skins are also now locked at at least $20 as well. Besides being the greedy, over-monetized version of the game created for shareholders, not players, the game has had nothing but problems since the launch. Even after two betas, the game came out with servers crashing, people getting logged out repeatedly if they ever got in, and glitching left and right. The game is again completely out of balance, with games being decided by the team that sticks with the few overpowered heroes. The buffs and nerfs they've given entire roles to "make the game more exciting" have left entire roles to be sitting ducks, because they are both told they have to play better but their characters are less powerful and die easier. The devs promised more measures against cheaters, troll players, toxic players, people who abandon matches, ect. Since the game started, it has been worse than the first game for all of these issues, and the devs are now silent about any of the promises they made. After the backlash of making players attach phone numbers to accounts to fight cheaters known as smurfs and other bad accounts, they immediately removed the requirement and all of the multiple accounts used by bad players to cheat were allowed to flood back into the new game. They are now present again in many games, and Blizzard hasn't said anything about ridding the game of these accounts in the OW2, just as they didn't in the first. Everything about OW2 is just bad and greedy game design in the clothing of the first Overwatch. Longtime players who loved the original game are being shoved aside for quick profit. Overwatch 2 is a mistake and will never live up to the original. Cheers, Love

If visuals were what you could base the entire game on then it would be great. Sunset to sunrise the game looks great. However, the most important thing is the gameplay, which is honestly awful. Here's a quick way to sum it up. You grind for sometimes hours looking for treasures across various islands constantly interrupted by never ending hoards of skeleton warriors. If it was a few set waves or certain spawn locations, then ok. But no, it seems every 20 feet you run in any direction another 4 or 5 spawn. If you stop, they surround you. If you try to outrun them more just spawn in front of you and now you have 10 of them. Did I mention you can only swing your sword like every 2 seconds and only have 5 bullets before having to go back to the ship to reload? Did I mention half of them have guns and exploding barrels. Did I mention they NEVER.... STOP... SPAWNING? It goes from being a fun challenge, to annoying, to just downright ridiculous and you wonder why you are still playing. But the worst part about the gameplay is once you spend all the time getting these treasures, there are going to be troll players who do nothing but wait for people to get these treasures and overrun your ship and steal it all. And then sail into port, while spawn killing you, and get all of the game currency for all of the work you put into it. I don't care if it's a "pirate" game, this is the stupidest, worst game design I've ever seen. There goes the two hours you just spent hopping from island to island, you're getting absolutely nothing for it and those other guys are. "Fun"? If this kind of nonsense sounds fun to you then go waste your money on it. I wish I could get mine back.
