Call of Duty: Black Ops 65

Bang average call of duty title, multiplayer is for the sweaties who play year after year so if you're someone who hasn't played cod for a while prepare to get stomped in the cheesiest ways possible thanks to the new movement system. Absolutely nothing new or innovative in multiplayer proving yet again cod Devs have ran out of ideas, the maps are so uninspired apart from like one or two.I've honestly got no idea how people can play multiplayer Cod everyday its fun for like a few games, Cod is more like fifa these days especially multiplayer just churn out the same crap year after year cause all the plebs will buy and play anyway. I'll have to admit though that the new zombies is actually pretty good and the maps look great.Didn't get to play the campaign, but after all it's not worth £70 unless you're playing all the game modes, so unsure why people are hyping this up cause of an average campaign after years of crap and a decent zombie mode. £70 for this game is an absolute joke and anyone that buys a game called black ops 6 deserves what they get, misery and a decent zombies.

Just finished the raid before writing my review, having now seen all the content I can say it's just the same formula we've seen since Shadowlands, the raid is nothing special, the dungeons are kind of cool nothing stand out and the world content decent it's just the same game design and direction we've had for many expansions now and it's wearing a little thin. I know Metzen wasn't involved with this one but I'm really hoping going forward we get some way to switch up the retail formula? This retail format is getting boring and the game design is fairly generic in terms of wow.

It was a better release than some early access games but a little disappointed to see a big V1.1 update coming out so soon after release, the update does contain some critical stuff so unfortunately it does feel like this game was out earlier than it was ready to, but unlike some other early access titles that come out of development this one was fun and pretty much bug free day one.

So you develop a game for almost a decade and release it but since v1.0 they've updated it basically everyday??? The game clearly was not ready for a 1.0 release. Furthermore, the audio is rubbish like they have not touched it since day one and the learning curve is too steep with no tutorials covering half the stuff in the game, you're going to see positive reviews for this one on steam because those people have been playing since day 1 and know how to play but check recent negative reviews and people mostly say the same thing.. A big shame really cause I like the concept but this is just another cash grab dev, funny to think this started as a kickstarter cause it ticks all the boxes for anything that comes off that platform.... half baked cash grab game that does not justify the dev time or money invested for the end product to be so unfinished, if you've taken so long to get to this point why not take another 6 months to make sure its perfect? Not even close to feeling like a full game developed for the best part of a decade.

This one did not age well at all, first half was decent I was enjoying the bond moments and story, the second half of the game is an absolute joke, it's like the Devs didn't even play the last few missions they're basically impossible on any difficulty above easy and literally 0 thought gone into making them enjoyable playable missions. Poor checkpoint system and story in the second half, even cheesing it with save states on emulation I struggled to finish the game, even played this with rose tinted glasses from my childhood and realised how mediocre this game actually was. I recall watching a YouTuber finishing the game during COVID and they mentioned something about development troubles in the latter part of the game? It must be true because it's incredibly blatant how little thought went into the second half of this game,I would not recommend this one unless you have nostalgia from childhood but even then don't expect much.

Slightly better graphics, calling this a sequel is a bit cheeky, it's very much a half step - comparative to overwatch 2.. I've no doubt the in game economy played a big part in them deciding to not make a proper sequel and instead just port the same game to a new engine... We're still missing some gamemodes from CS GO.... remember when valve made actual games what happened man...

I've felt like south park was a bit past it's prime before this game came out but once I played this I knew I was right, how can Matt and Trey let this be released like come on, just feel like they're not as hands on as they make **** effort and just not that enjoyable really, like even the jokes feel weak and the audio is weird like the voices change a lot.

I've been playing since season 2 and just recently came back cause I saw they updated the bots after like a decade.... jumped into about 50 co-op vs ai games and was pretty disappointed tbh. Bot ai is still poor but they sort of jungle now, not sure why they've been making a big fuss about this new ai update? I was under the assumption they'd behave a lot like real enemies as per riot bot team update but they are still trash. New champions are alright nothing special, they've updated icons but the graphics remain somewhat average in this current year... idk pretty let down honestly to come back to the game after this long to find the game has changed dramatically but not neccesarily for the best. Edit: Updating my review in regards to the new $500 dollar skins.... this is the exact problem with league now, riot is a huge corporation these days I'm unsure of their finances exactly but there's no way they need to do this other than corporate greed. How about making the game better instead of finding new ways to monetise? Just another dying live service that is trying to squeeze everything out the remaining last whales ( look at hearthstone also released a long time ago is losing players but doing everything they can to milk remaining players instead of making the game better) The fact on Riot's YouTube channel they even put the tag 'expensive ahri' I think it's absolutely disgusting and solidified my opinion on league that it's a dead game was only good for the first 5 seasons or so, now it's just corporate sludge. Finally, regarding my previous review after the bot update early this year, nah they haven't even touched the bots since and they're still absolutely rubbish to play against like ai from the 90s. Embarrassing company and an embarrassing dead game being squeezed for it's last bit of cash, what a disgrace riot are posting videos at their head office with progressive people talking about content but then releasing a $500 skin, **** riot you're not fooling anyone with your purple haired staff. I haven't touched a riot game in years they're rubbish now, this is the final thing to make me boycott riot just like I have ea

A low effort Bethesda release with an uninspired story, I'm half way through so far and it has been nothing but the same fetch quest. The space side of the game is laughable since it's pointless using your spaceship as you'll just be fast travelling everywhere. Endless loading screens completely kills immersion. Poor performance and no dlss. Buggy as hell. Crappy UI and backpack system from 2010s. I notice they've put out an update today advising they're gonna add basic features like hdr and an fov slider, people are lapping it up like it's something revolutionary that they are adding such things when in reality it just proves the game is half baked and unfinished if such basic features aren't even in the game yet. No dismemberment or gore makes combat feels dated, this is a Bethesda game where's the gore? Crappy ai which is a total joke in 2023 considering all the advances made, what were they doing for the several years of development? One of the most overhyped mediocre games of the year. So many 9s/10s in reviews just proving the games industry has very low standards at the moment allowing themselves to hype this incredibly average RPG like it's something groundbreaking. It's literally the lowest rated Bethesda game on steam other than fallout 76. A true L, maybe it'll be enjoyable in a year but for now it feels unfinished and gets a hard pass.

Solid game, combat is visceral and gruesome just as a zombie game should be, story is meh but it's fun to hack up some zombies for a couple hours it gets tiresome after a while though, graphics are good with cool dismemberment not seen in other titles. It runs great as well something that is incredibly rare on pc these days, very well polished overall so far. I'm definitely more invested than I was with dying light 2 but unfortunately nothing is blowing me away here it's very much a 6.5/10 sort of game. I completely disagree with the price point of this game as well perhaps if it was a straight to gamepass game I'd bump the score up but 60 quid for this is not worth it.

Can people stop hyping the graphics they aren't even good? Anything looks good in comparison to d3 btw but d4 looks pretty bad for a 2023 title from a AAA company. No ray traced lighting or shadows in a game that is primarily in dimly lit environments. Poor graphics for a modern title.

Pretty good remake all things considered however what I can't see past is the crashing that occurs with high VRAM usage and hopefully this is something that gets patched soon. Considering though how bad some games get ported over to pc (hogwarts legacy comes to mind) this is a pretty good release. It's a shame developers seem to neglect optimization for PC these days if that trend continues it'll be tough to keep committing to being a pc gamer rather than console. However, Res 4 is not completely broken it just requires lowering of some settings to resolve the crashing till a fix is pushed out. The game looks good but it shouldn't need 16GB of VRAM for max settings that's ridiculous cyberpunk looks 10x better than Res 4 and I can run that maxed out no problems.

Decent game but it's an awful pc port with horrible frame stutters and poor optimisation. The game is riddled with bugs I'm about 20 hours in and have seen so many bugs some game breaking others just minor. The world looks good but is pretty shallow, you can't sit down in the common room for example or anywhere in the world for that fact. The Hogwarts castle itself could feel more alive but the details within the castle are well thought of. The story is a bit mid for a game based off the Harry potter universe they could've done a lot but decided to play it safe, the game is a 12 rated and it really feels like it, constantly reminding you what to do in puzzles with cringe dialog as well as hand holding throughout the story which becomes tiresome. I do not like the trials either which is the core of the story they are generic and boring. Outside of the story there's your standard AAA fluff, trials, caves, puzzles, monsters den's etc. Very few monster types here though which is a shame considering the material they had to work from. There's a Pokémon mode that I'm not a fan of as the animals look ridiculous like something out of a 90s Disney movie. The flying is one of my favourite parts of the game, but as soon as the story starts they tell you quidditch is not in the game, you can tell the Devs ran out of time on that one because the quidditch pitch has been moddled to a very high detail, seems odd to have done that but no official mode for it Edit: I'm lowering my score to a 4 since the Devs have failed to fix performance issues on pc after multiple patches and since the old gen versions are soon to release I highly doubt these will be resolved soon. Such a shame, all I wanted to do was explore hogwarts in high fidelity without bugs, maybe next year the game will be playable.

Levelling was fun, end game is no different from shadowlands and in fact worse for me personally with the addition of legacy dungeons included in the m+ rotation which I've already played to death. Game is riddled with bugs, poor optimisation, renown system takes too long and the rewards are rubbish, too many reps to grind out, PvP is unbalanced, world quests still ****, music is good, levelling was good, dragonriding is good, dungeons are good but not all of them included in m+, professions are slightly better but the grind for skill points is boring for little reward, crafting house is decent but half of the stuff you can get on ah. Overall it was fine for like 3 weeks but after that you're back to the same stuff you've been doing for the last few expansions and it's boring, not the best expansion there's been by a longshot I honestly preferred 9.0 but that's just me. Mediocre at best.
