The audience's scores compared to the critics' scores says it all. It's more great, edgy genius comedy by one of the GOATS of stand-up. He touches every nerve and the funny bone, over and over again. Critics are playing the woke part, as usual, making sure we know that they're outraged and offended on behalf of everyone else. Most of them likely laughed their asses off, watching alone in their sad apartments, and then got on their laptops to express the pain they suffered by jokes that have gone "too far" and "hurt" too many. Sticks and stones... This inability to laugh at ourselves, each other, and the most sensitive topics in our culture is the saddest disability one can have in life. But humorless **** make for great targets in comedy. And the last thing you want is the master Dave Chappelle placing a bulls-eye on your face! Sticks and stones...

Another fun action series, with twists and turns, and nothing else to get in its way. The exact kind of show critics hate and audiences love, proving critics are completely out of touch with what the people like to watch. It's certainly dark work and there's not much escapism, given the times in which we live, but if you're into the whole political/military crime thriller genre, this is as good as anything else.

It's an impossible task to overstate just how good the story and the cast are in The Bear. Jeremy Allen White continues his rise to being one of the greatest actors of his generation, and the rest of the cast have little trouble keeping up. This is certainly a foodie's dream of a show and it tastes every bit as good as it looks.

Visually compelling animation, telling masterfully written short stories. It has an animated Black Mirror vibe to it. This might be my most favorite Netflix Original series to date. Love, Death, & Robots is the highest form of art and storytelling coming together perfectly.

The screaming... the endless, shrill screaming. Makes one pray for Armageddon.

Of course the critics don't get it. And I couldn't be happier about that. This is the Star Trek parody that Star Trek fans get and love. It's an homage in its most sincerest form that reminds us that even the future can be funny.

Chef's Table (all seasons) is simply the best produced, most passionate and intelligent show about humanity, food, and the relationship betwixt. And as much as it sates your mind, it will leave your tummy hungry for more.

Aside from the overwrought, hyperbolic and incessant music (reminiscent of the terrible Star Trek movie soundtracks of the 80's), it's a dark but harmless remake of the campy original. At its worst, Lost is a weak, cliché of script and uninspired plot-twists, but it's generally saved by good, fun stories and fantastic, ILM-worthy effects and scenery.

Such a poorly-acted, terribly-scripted derivative of Blade Runner. Trying way too hard to be a clever, sci-fi crime drama, it fails on every level except special effects. There are a few great moments but the spaces in-between are so meandering and complicated; the payoff is just not worth the time it takes to get there. Did I mention that the script and acting are bad?

Thirty minutes of non-stop inanity and insanity that serves no purpose other than to make you laugh. Naked Gun-style has never been my kind of comedy, but Steve and Nancy Carell somehow make this low-brow humor work. And it really does just keep coming at you without a pause. No doubt this is one of those love it or hate it comedies and I can't help myself- I love it!

I've read several "professional" reviews calling Derek overly sentimental, even "mushy" at times. I could not disagree more. This is a perfectly human story- funny, heartbreaking, strange, touching, and everything else that makes life exactly what it is for us all; using a micro-environment to capture and contain the macrocosm of human behavior and emotion. Above all, Ricky Gervais gives the performance of a lifetime. This is his Forrest Gump. Absolutely brilliant and beautiful.

Napoleon Dynamite, the movie, was an instant cult classic: a strange and funny world filled with strange and funny people; a strange and funny that is all too familiar in our own lives. We relate, we cringe, we laugh. Napoleon Dynamite, the animated tv series, is just like the movie except it's not strange or funny. I didn't relate, I didn't laugh, but I did cringe.

Life is funny. Life is sad. Love is funny. Love is sad. "Louie" is about life and love. "Louie" is simply the best comedy series I have ever, ever seen.

Wilfred is like a bottle of wine- the first few sips can be challenging. Then, after a glass or two, you really begin to enjoy it. And finally, you start thinking about opening another bottle!
