One of the first PC rpgs I played years back, started it up now and it still holds up well. It's a good example of gameplay and story trumping the outdated graphics. You can create an array of creatures to help you fight with mana, or use that mana to weave spells, or just play through as a fully non-magical melee, learning your enemies weak points and getting extra hits with deadly precision. On top of that there are 3 different sects in most of the games, later more. What you say and how you act has repercussions, they take note of how you act and you can side with whichever you like, or no-one at all. For fans of baldurs gate or icewind dale I recommend this series heavily.

Essential game to play on the 3DS, the trailer convinced me to buy it instantly. Great humor and gameplay, for an added challenge complete it on duckmode, it's brilliant. I would have paid more for this game so it is such a bargain for how great it is. I hope the creator makes more games in future.

Aeroporter ramps up in difficulty far too quickly and I seriously feel the only people able to complete it are the japanese that made it. If you want a challenge in making quick decisions this game is for you, but if you aren't great at these games stay away as it will make you feel helpless after a few levels.

A terrible game, bought it on sale and was still disappointed. Buy Lets Golf! 3D instead, there is much more to do and unlock, the visuals are much better as well. The only good thing about Fun! Fun! Minigolf TOUCH! that had me laughing was how your bigass Mii head clips through your arms and body when you do a celebratory dance. Just because a game is cheap isn't an excuse to be awful, there are better golf games out there on the eshop for your money.

A pretty funny and good rpg game for the eshop. The characters break the 4th wall and there are plenty of strange jokes and humor. It's pretty cool that you can choose to be bad or good in the game as well. It's definitely worth the price, I have it on the 3DS

I enjoyed the short amount of gameplay in this title but it was extremely short and didn't offer anything new from the previous titles. I would recommend any of the DS cooking mama titles, they are just touchscreen mini games, it doesn't teach you cooking, it's just a girly version of a wario ware game. Highly enjoyable series but this was a terrible entry.

Great gameplay and characters. It's a pretty unique game, meshing tower defense and action combat but it really works well. The stages are set up into two parts, day and night. During the day you roll around and gather materials to upgrade the town walls, feed pig creatures and set up turrets near the monsters lairs. Then during the night you must defend the town from attack by the monsters, rolling out to meet the ones that aren't destroyed by towers and taking them in combat. I'd recommend it as a essential eshop game to own and play.

They doomed this game in the US by releasing it the same month as Theatrerhythm, I mean are people going to buy a new IP or a game celebrating final fantasy music? I got both but few did of course. Rhythm Thief stands on its own as a great game, the music is catchy, the characters are great, the story was really good and it was left open for a sequel. Not sure we will ever see it after that terrible release window but I do hope so, I really enjoyed this game from start to finish.

Flawed but I was happy to have bought and played it. A nice hack and slash diablo style game, it just fell down on having such short gameplay with no replayability other than playing a different character. They gave you weekly quests for you to earn enough currency to buy max level armor, but then gave nothing to do at max level with that gear! Very short sighted. I was very impressed that a game on the 3DS had online voicechat with people who didn't even have to be on your friendslist, I did have some fun playing the stages online and chatting to people.

I enjoyed sims games when they first came out and I picked this game up for cheap enough. I was just pretty disappointed. The camera viewpoints are terrible even though you can pan them around, the controls are clunky and the graphics are terrible. I got it around launch so I put 14 hours into it while I was waiting for other game releases but I haven't had the urge to play it since. So basically if you have no other games you might play it for a bit but I'd recommend doing anything else.

I got it as a free game in Europe as I already had the other game options. I played 28 hours of it and finished the game so I'd say it was quite enjoyable. I found myself getting into the shop management part of it and trying to attract different clientele. It wasn't all pink and rainbows either, I was happy to see you could actually create pretty great rock and goth outfits. I'm not sure what price tag I would put on it, I was happy playing around in it when it was free but I wouldn't pay launch retail for it.

Fantastic game, I received this game a week before my birthday and I played through all 35 hours of every ending possible with several days left until my birthday. You will be hooked from start to finish. The only reason I deduct a point is that there is a pretty bad bug in the game that apparently was in the japanese version but they did not fix it. And no-one talks about it, it's very easy to avoid if you know about it beforehand, they could have even patched in a warning on the title screen! To avoid your save data becoming corrupt, never save while you are inside a puzzle room. They aren't that long so this really isn't much of an issue once you know about it. The only other thing is that your game will crash in the PEC room if you don't do it in the correct order, but as long as you didn't save your save data is fine, it will just put you back shortly before that when you saved in the novel part. Just look up a walkthrough for that part, it's towards the end of the game.

A great game with a ton of replayability. The number one complaint is that the controls are hard and that you need to use a stand. I would say this is bullcrap. The controls are different and you need to learn them that's all, and you certainly don't need a stand. I played the first few levels on difficulty 2. Then by level 5 I was on difficulty 6, and by level 8 I was happy playing on 9 heart difficulty. So even though the controls are different, they are actually quite easy to master if you didn't just play the game for 5 minutes for the sake of a review. I also can quite easily hold my XL with my tiny girly hands and still not need to use a stand. The only thing that would make it difficult to play is if you were left handed. There is so much to unlock, weapons to create, great music, great characters, and fantastic online fun.

A great game with great replayablity. Currently on 95 hours myself after finishing it quickly on normal and then going back on a harder setting. I still haven't got a chance to play all the free maps that keep being added that finishes off the story. What you get out of the game really depends what you put into it, there are a great wealth of characters but I found it too tiresome to pay attention to all of them so I just picked my favorites. I had fantastic fun marrying them all off and turning their children into mutated galeforce-using super mutants, but after I did that the later levels were a tad easy, Lucina was a soloing monster. Still there are 2 more difficulty levels that I haven't played so there is that left to enjoy.

I feel like this game had a lot of potential and could have done a few things to make it slightly longer or more puzzles. I was excited when I saw the disclaimer screen that there would be no help given and you would have to figure things out yourself, however I found the puzzles pretty simplistic. Also we went from finding a way to open 1 door at a time to suddenly being able to open all of them, this could have been a way to make the game longer but they failed to use it. The story and suspense was very good however, it held my attention and I did think that was fantastic. To 100% the game took me 2 hours and 18 minutes. Basically the entire reason why I was let down by the game was the length and price. If the price was lower the length would not have been that much of an issue. When this game goes on sale like the last batch of guild 01 games did, definitely pick it up, turn the lights off, get into bed and enjoy. It's not worth 8 euro but if it goes down to 4 or 6 you'll definitely feel more satisfied.
