The simulacrum created in the film is not bad. The exposition of the film tries to confuse audience or make the story looks more complicated, but at the end of the film it shows a poor resolution without proper linkage to the start.

An instantly forgettable movie. I can't stand those characters who were just loafing around and making offensive, sick jokes. How this stuff can be a movie? Conclusion: Epic fail.

I give this movie 7.5 out of 10. Jake's journey is quite inspirational. In his presentation, the questions, as well as the conclusion, are worth to ponder on. They allow us to step back to think of the values of life. The portrayal of the characters are distinct and impressive. The only thing that is not very good is Jake (cast by Cam Gigandet) made much unnecessary non-verbal language, which blurs the character's real personality from such strange acts.

The probable reason that critics are generally not favorable to this movie is because they are "critics". We are not, we aim to enjoy the movie. It is undeniable that the movie is extremely illogical, but indeed it's ridiculously fun. The plot is highly predictable but if you want to have good laughs, this movie is your choice.

It is basically an above average film. However, I just personally do not like the ending - The ending is not proper enough - It does not respond back to the exposition of the film. It is just a fake cliffhanger which tries to attract us to watch "The Avengers" in the coming year. Pfff...

It is a long movie but I am still eager to re-watch it. The actors have brought their great sense of humor to the screen play in an almost flawless way. The mixed feeling of touching and funny are just dramatic enough. My teardrop have hit the ground for several times when it comes to those touching scenes. It may be the best comedy that I have ever watched.

I haven't watched "Single White Female" so as to make a comparison with this film. Except for the originality of the plot and generally poor choices of music, the film is OK. It was surprising to see how the story happens in college life that may be out of your expectation.
