Untitled Goose Game

Simple and short, not super challenging, but enjoyable to play due to the uncomplicated but cute graphics and the fact you're a Goose. I have to say it's perhaps slightly overhyped.

Beautiful puzzle/platform little game. The combination of its artwork and music makes playing a very immersive experience. I was particularly fascinated by the soundtrack... It inspires me such calm! Regarding the gameplay, I found it not too challenging, but entertaining and approachable. Some levels make you think for a few minutes, but I don't see a reason to get stuck anywhere. Sometimes you'll have to switch the color somehow quickly, but if you have slow hands like me, that is not a big deal either. The narrative maybe does not match the quality of the artwork and music, but hey... It's a puzzle game! Summary: If it had a more elaborated story and maybe some more levels/secrets I would have given a higher score.

I was just expecting a fun co-op game, of the likes of the MicroMachines series, so I was willing to accept certain imperfections for the sake of playability. It truly disappointed me. The race style is just a mediocre cross-over between Mario Karts and MicroMachines, but of course this one is just way worse. Controlling the cars just doesn't feel right, the track themes are kinda repetitive, and after a few minutes you will start noticing glitches.

I'm not sure why, but at some point I found the game repetitive and quiet playing as a result. It's a true open world and you can say you have stuff to do spend time exploring it, the person combat was pretty good and different to what most games offer, and the combat in the car was kind of fun too... So the conclusion is, I can't explain what is wrong with it, but it just didn't appeal me too much.

It was fun. I think the combat, the main missions and the story were entertaining, even when it wasn't too challenging (but that's my fault for not choosing the right difficulty level I guess). Also you have the option to look for a bunch of collectibles, and power up your weapons, which is nice as the main story isn't too long. On the other hand, the open-world feature of the game are just so so. Many stages are disconnected or it's too tedious to traverse between them, so you have to use those fast-travel spots. Then, of course it feels staged, as that's really the nature of the game, and there isn't too much you can do besides looking for the collectibles.

Should be a 10, yet it is not... I really really enjoyed this game. I did every side mission, tried to level up to the maximum and seen as mach as the world as I could. Everything is enjoyable: Story, graphics, items, character development, combat, mini-games. Nevertheless, the reason I can't give it a 10 is the amount of bugs it has. I could forgive if they were only visual glitches and details, but some of these issues are business logic rules that should always work and break the game if they don't.

The spirit of the old platform games. This is a truly great platform game, and it's probably the most enjoyable co-op game I have played on the PS4. Not only that the game is fun and the levels varied and well designed, but the "extras" like collectibles and challenges are also great.

I think this is the first time I review a game with 0. This game definitely deserves it. I know it comes from an indie developer and so, low budget, etc, etc. Well, that is not an excuse to release and make people pay for that piece of crap. I guess the worst is that is by very very far the buggiest game I have ever seen. That is simply objective. I can't believe the game's publishers finished the game and didn't see some of these bugs. Did they actually play before the game? The UI and controls are simply horrible. Probably the UX is a bit better with a mouse and a keyboard, but once more, if you can't release a decent product, don't do it. The graphics assets (weapons, NPC, enemies, decoration) might appeal some people because of the retro feeling, but they don't appeal me. I find them rather lame, considering the 90s are long gone.

I guess this is a game mostly targeted to the Sonic franchise fans and kids. The story and the dialogs are a bit infantile, but probably there is nothing to complain about. There have to be games for all audiences. In terms of playeability, it is pretty fun. Although I liked the "2D" stages more, both modes were fun. The worlds, the enemies, the attacks, and some of the achievements (namely red rings) were enjoyable in my opinion. Technically speaking, we can say it's rather basic, and there are a few bugs and issues with the control, although I don't think it's a big deal.

The most basic game of the century? I managed to finish the game, in about an hour (I'm not especially quick when playing games), and while I got immersed in the atmosphere and I was kind of interested in the story, there is very little to play. Basically you have to explore the whole house, find two scraps of paper, a few keys, listen to the story, and you're done with it. Don't expect to see or interact with any character or find any sort of puzzle.

To be honest I spent some hours of fun with this game. I think the concept wasn't bad. On the other hand, this has been probably one of the buggiest games I have ever played. There were all kinds of issues... Also, I can't forgive the fact that the game is totally unfinished, and they still make the players pay for the stupid gems.

In general it was a fun game, and since they are relatively short, you can do all the three games in a row. PROS: Story is engaging, scenarios are delightful, and fights are fun, missions with vehicles too. CONS: Platform areas felt too linear, almost impossible to fail.

It definitely met my expectations. Fun missions, tons of side-activities and games, and the care taken to model San Andreas. Probably I was expecting a bit more about the graphics and performance, and that is why I don't give it a 10.
