Jumping from Mario Kart 7 to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I can truly say that this is the definitive version of Mario Kart to date. Not only do the graphics match well with the game's design and art style, I never felt any frame rate drops as I was playing the first few courses. Not only that but the game really complements the switch's ecosystem. With 2 controllers on the go and at your disposal, you and your friends are sure to have a fun time anywhere and anytime

if there was one thing you can always count about Atlus, it's the fact that they always leave you questioning yourself. I didn't think the Persona series could get any better but after spending 70 hours or so, I'd have to say this is one of the best JRPGs i have ever played. It easily sits right up there with Xenoblade. The characters, setting, gameplay and all the other elements combined will give you such a surreal experience.

Diner Dash has never been this much fun! I'm having a hard time not liking this game because of how loud me and my friends get. Having to shout profanities so that your so-called "friend" would get the dishes out in time just gives the game such charm. I do hope the developer will continue to support this and add new challenges, cooking methods or even add meals-- like with drinks and sidings just to make it more fun to play with

I played this as my first DA game absolutely knowing nothing and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations of nothing. The story is one of the more likable aspects in this game however controls for PC gaming is very difficult to remember over time. I loved the idea of having your own army and deciding the fates of your foes that gives you the feeling that YOU are the inquisitor. I had hoped that characters would have been fleshed out more coming from previous Bioware games but it never detached me from the immersion.

BotW manages to ignite the feeling of being a Zelda game while at the same time not being a Zelda game. Its open world aspect is a new direction for the franchise however, it still manages to exude the charm-- be that from timeless art styles or puzzle solving that is very famous in previous Zeldas. What truly stood out for me was the sense of agency I was given that isn't very common in today's open world RPGs. Its physics sandbox + wide array of things to do, places to see and people to discover is the reason I consider this to be the best game I have ever played to date.

I never played this when it came out but I have to say that this is one of the more timeless epics in gaming I have ever played. So much of comes to the story of betrayal, corruption, ambitions and even genocide that made me understand how gaming can impact so much of our perspectives. I wish I could score this a ten but I will never know what it's like back when it released. Still an amazing game for me

Suikoden V was my first invitation to the franchise and it became one of the pillars that changed JRPG genre for me. The idea that you have an army at your command, each with their own distinct personalities makes your 'batcave' or 'Skyhold' or whatever you may call it a more immersive experience that I would have let on. As the prince, you have a duty to unite all villages/races/nations within your banner to expel evil from your kingdom. If you have the time, grab this game (if you can still find it, that is) and experience this magic for yourself.

I came to play this franchise with no expectations and Atlus has really established itself as a brand that can compete with the like of Square Enix in the JRPG genre. Persona 3 is one of my favorites games in the PS2 and I recommend it practically to everyone. Its gameplay is unique because no other game, AFAIK, has ever tried mixing in bonds and friendship as a source of leveling power/capability. Guaranteed a great game for its time and will always have a special place in me.

It's amazing how an RPG blends so well with slice of life genre that are rarely as popular in gaming nowadays. It emphasizes the same trend Persona 3 made with a unique gameplay equivalent of friends = strength. The story is not too shabby either considering it has to follow suit with its predecessor's dark storyline. Collecting personas is still as fun as it was before and their is no doubt of the series' continuing success in the mainstream market.

Gen 7 grew up from its chibi phase back in Pokemon X and honestly, the 3D models made the game so much more immersive. It felt like I was on actual interesting islands with so much to discover. If I had to rate this game from the changes alone that it distinguished itself from the past generation like Z-moves, immersive pokemon sounds and actions, ratios from height of building to people, trials and kahunas, a much better story of friendship and the end-justifies-the-means ambitions, I would still have rated this a 10/10

This is possibly and currently my favorite RPG of all time because of how the characters, story, lore and gameplay led me to an epic adventure that that world deserved. Honestly amazing how it could look like an MMO at its time but was actually a single player experience. Although the graphics were not as technology amazing as its competition, it never deterred me from finishing every side quest, collecting every collectibles and finishing maps by discovering surroundings I never would have thought to venture. I easily spent 180 hours on first run and I'll gladly spent another just to experience this game again

I had mixed feelings about Revelations because when I played Birthright and Conquest, I had an idea that the last game would eventually tie up all loose ends for the series of game but what eventually happened fell flat because of its ambitions. Story did not live up to its potential and it even requires a DLC to make sense of why the villian is actually a villian. Gameplay was still amazing though. Not as good as Conquest because of how gimmicky the traps from the dungeons felt like.

I love this game because of the fact that it returned to its roots in regards to the challenges of each chapter. Chapters usually have a gimmick to gives an advantage/disadvantage to the players but this isn't apparent in Conquest. I was especially surprised in Chapter 10 which required you to defend the line for a number of turn. Gameplay is a 10, however Story is a sad 6 for me and everything else like characters, QoL improvements eventually led me to a9

A complete graphical reinvention for the franchise of Pokemon, it's great to see Gamefreak finally step out of their comfort zone of sprites and pixels. Framerate issues are existent but not so much as to limit my experience playing this game. Storwise, it couldn't hold a candle to Gen 5. I could barely care about Team Flare's plans on how to destroy the world or whatever. If I could give a more accurate score it would have been an 8.9/10

Sacred Stones was my first Fire Emblem game while Radiant Dawn was my favorite one. I love Awakening for how it incorporated the two most notable features (traversable map and skills) in both these games and eventually culminated into one of the best games I have ever played in my 3DS. I recommend this to anyone who loves strategy games similar to Valkyria Chronicles, Age of Empires, XCOM and the like.
