I am a straight male, 41 years old and i am not a feminist. i watched the barbie movie today and i dont understand all the critics. The movie isnt serious at all and is not man hating. I actually enjoyed it. And yes it is as a movie way better than Oppenheimer.

One of the best movies i have seen in a long time. it takes its time to build up. and maintains a slow but strong movement. it its message it hits home for me. i am glad to see, that there are still people making slow strong movies with an actuall message and meaning. thank you

Spoilerfree: the movie is quite good. In fact so good that it is unpleasant to watch at times. The main protagonist and his choices are for me painful to watch therefore. It reminds me ob "Requiem for a dream". So in general a good movie, but i wouldnt watch it again, because it is painful.

no spoilers: I borrowed this movie on amazon. Because i wanted to get into the avengers universe. i thought if this is such a successful series, then it must be good, right? well, i didn't think the first 30 min were bad at all, but then it went downhill. after about an hour, i wondered if this movie was purely a children's film, because it was so shallow and dull. i think the avengers are probably just not for me. i wonder who these movies are for and who likes them. are there really adults who find this good?

Very good old school action movie! Stallone shows how to entertain fans of the classic action movie genre! It is clearly visible, that this is not a big scale production like the big hollywood movies. I mean this in the good and the bad meaning. Good, because this gives the movie more freedom and the audience forgives little errors and shortcomings easy. Bad because you can clearly see, that this is a B movie, by the quality of the photography and the CGI. But it is still perfectly watchable. Not really bad. It manages to create hate in the audience for the bad guys. It makes the audience want Rambo to kill them all. Dont expect a masterwork here. Dont expect a serious in depth investigation into the specific topic. This is a rambo movie. And it does exactly what the audience expects from a rambo movie. Well done! I give it nine stars, because it was one of the best movies i watched this year, minus one star for poor technical execution and somewhat flat characters. The first movie in years, which i left with a smile.
