I've never played an RPG this funny before. I've never played a JRPG before actually, and this is blowing my mind. It has me laughing every few minutes while also playing quite seriously so I can advance throughout the game because the gameplay is pretty serious. Play on hardcore only.
This is the most refreshing game I've played in years. Zombies. And Plants. Versus each other! EA has done something right with this. It uses first person perspective as well as other styles to push you forward in a most challenging and ultra fun unique game.
This is like SIMS but for grownups! Very challenging - at first you will be disappointed because you must make mistakes in order to learn to do it right. It requires lots of thinking ahead and trial and error. Highly recommended.
Foul Play is a really fun, easy arcade game and I'm glad I played it. To be honest, the last couple battles aren't easy, but everything else is. It's one of those games you just want to plough through and turn off your brain, get your hand/eye coordination muscles some play without having to think. Great fun!
For a DLC it's really good, but honestly it doesn't add enough to the game. Maybe my expectations were too high. I would however like to see this continued: let's get a Princess and Toadstool DLC as well!
This is the kind of game Wii U was made for. It's cute, the graphics are more animate-y than realistic (a good thing). The strategy element is fantastic on par with some of the more violent and civ-based strategy games. Great game.
Previous fans: you should like the series even more because of this (and no more Rabbids!! Yes!). Not previous fans: this game will knock your socks off.
You've seen the hobbit already right?? lol yeah this game was released just at the right time in the marketing world but honestly it's just that good. it has a great graphics engine, great controls, great multiplayer, great story (obviously). it's just all around outstanding.
I have to agree with the other reviewers and say that the game fell short of all my expectations. it's too short, the visuals aren't very good, the controls are awkward and boring, and overall it makes the Thundercats concept look silly and not gaming compatible, which they obviously are.
This is the best pokemon game I've ever played! I didn't think the DS had all that much to offer anymore but this game surely proved me wrong! Yesss! Overall the visuals, music, adventures and characters mix together into a wonderful DS gaming experience!
OMFG this game is absolutely hands down the best survival horror I've ever played in my life. Do not play on easy mode. No ammo pickups, maximize your skills with melee, and get ready to get your ass TORTURED. I thought the Wii U was going to be the weakest new console to hit but this title makes it a brutal, brutal new episode in gaming. Going to pick it up real soon (have only made these judgments based on my neighbor's new setup).
Easily the best XBLA game I've played in my life. The way in which enemies come onto the stage is like an old school arcade game except the whole narrative is laid out like an action/RPG. The story is epic, the graphics are unbelievable, and the voice acting is incredible. HIGHLY recommend it. Very affordable as well.
as you can see from other user reviews, the game is a hands down masterpiece. the graphics and art is unsurpassable. nothing like you will ever see in your life. the controls are unsurpassable as well. i've never played anything like this.
OK, to be honest I've never been a Halo fan. These titles are the most generic FPS you can play. However, for the MP value alone, they are worth it. Like COD, you can ALWAYS find a good MP scene online. You will ALWAYS find an arsenal of weapons and maps that will keep you addicted to your online gaming fix like nothing else. Outstanding online gameplay.
I liked the previous hitman titles a lot more than this. Sure, the graphics are great and the gameplay is pretty good, but honestly there's nothing new about this game. It's kind of like the same old thing with a couple quirks here and there.
I think hip hop is garbage most of the time but lately I have started freestyling because I think it's a beautiful artform, so I rented this and my room mate came in and we both started playing. I'm a geek and not used to these kinds of games but overall it was pretty cool. It got me out of my antisocial shell a bit.
Just an all around good, violent action game. The story is decent although it's not the strong suit of the game, and as someone below me has stated, there are (almost) no bugs. Not GOTY, not at all, but absolutely riveting.
absolute best NEW fighting game i've played in LONG time. usually the only good fighting games anymore are tekken, and capcom games from the old school. this has all the features you want plus more, plus more. buy it now.
The strength of this game is in its SMOOTHNESS. Not many words to really describe it with... I don't know, FLUIDITY. DYNAMIC-INTER-RELATEDNESS-OF-IMPOSSIBLE-AND-COOL-AESTHETICS. Just watch the trailer. It's exactly like that. But better. Yes, it's short. But you feel like you've taken a bunch of drugs when you play it. If you want to have a party where people pop pills or get wasted or something just simply have it on in the background and everybody will enjoy themselves. It's unbelievable.
just like the new rock band, this game is awesome and the only problem is that it's too fun. i do like it more than rock band though because it seems to take more patience and skill. and it's funny and fun. and there's more versatility. overall, as an interactive, group game, it's the best out there as of 2010 for sure.
i seriously can't stop playing this game. it's the most addicting game i've ever played. me and my friends really should go outside and plant food or something. but in the meantime we're playing this game with all its horrible music. it's definitely fun but it's TOO FUN.
I was playing this on my sister's iPhone then found it on console and am thoroughly impressed. Big improvement in graphics, sound etc. The classic formula is well preserved with some new impressive twists. It's funny and fun. Those are all you could ask for with a game like this, really.
Since the game was never advertised as a flight simulator I think that some people are jumping the gun when saying that it's a bad flight sim. It's really just supposed to be a super advanced arcade plane-y shooter. And that's exactly what it is, and it's actually a hell of a lot of fun. The graphics are AMAZING, the controls are pretty good, and the planes are thoroughly detailed. You can't ask for a WHOLE lot more for this kind of game. Ace Combat has never offered much more than this, for example.
Bob Jackson is right when he sais the AI is bad, but the story telling is good. I actually think the best part of this is that it continues the HALO world without stripping and reducing the game down to a stupid shooting game. And that's what HALO is in general, but this one has a nice little twist to it.
Quality RTS. Intelligent AI, intelligent graphics and controls. Overall a very intelligent game. The only thing I would have changed is that I would have included Japan in the mix. It's kind of Eurocentric. But beggars can't be choosers - overall a great game.
She's still hot, the puzzles and graphics and music are still super good, the plot is good, the weapons are fun... it's pretty much all you could ask for with a Lara Croft game. Really cool sort-of-bosses and epic battles. A little on the easy side, which is the only drawback.
Way better than the first. One of the best GTA-esque games I've played in a while. It's a bit linear but it's a lot of fun, the graphics are great and the controls are really good.
