A really fresh hidden gem: open world driving game with a bit different style: you fight the syndicate at all fronts at the same time, installing cameras, nicking criminals in different missions, escort them to prison, try to find informants by doing them different favours. This is the best excuse to do several silly things, like racing in a golf cart over a camping. The graphicss are pretty good, I enjoy driving in an European city and motorway for a change, the handling is pretty different to the usual NFS or burnout games, but it's fresh, tight and responsive. I admit it hasn't got the ultimate thrill some other racing games have, but for me it is a good thing, as the change from high speed chases and nice and calm "police work" is huge. The many cars and rocky music are nice too. The story is told in an interesting way and let's you even drive though interesting places you never see in other games: a cole mine where you pass the biggest machine in the world, a rotary excavator. In one story mission you have to jumps your car over different ramps on top of containers in the port. Great ideas on this game which is not too bad takes too serious. Only the voice acting is trashy, but also in a nice way. I did not like the TV series, but I love driving and racing games, and this one is a really positive surprise. For lovers of open world racers or lovers of European cities or even this great representation of the city of Cologne, even the giant cathedral, there is no way around this unique game.

A great and really addictive game with all these components. I have beaten it 3 times and still grab it out of my collection every couple of years to replay it. The smooth combination of round based strategy, atmospheric story, management of the head quarter, a lot of change in the missions, new equipment and weapons that can developed though out the whole game is great. Very very much one of my all time favorites among my collection of 250 games. I love this game. I tried XCOM Enemy Unknown before, but after beaten it once, I was done with it. This version however is marvelous!

Even though the controls are unintuitive at first - and the first couple of timesI played it, I had to figure out again how I organise a convoy - it got me addicted quickly. The story leads you through the controls and after few hours you stay in front of your console with the"another half hour" effect -at least at the gold version. There were very few avoidable bugs here. So the game is very enjoyable for everyone who considers building up a trading empire fun, because chasing Pirates, sea battles and and finding treasure are mere salt in the delicious trading soup.

Enslaved is a real hidden gem. It didn't sell very well, but the story is really good, the game mechanics are rather unique, the surroundings are great, colourful and the leveldesign ist great. I love this game really, and it is one of the few in my great collection that really earns a special place.

There might be other games which are better, but Air Conflicts Vietnam is in two ways outstanding: The story really does lead you from a war-fanatic patriot to show all the dark sides of war and this one specially. The other is the 3D-support, which looks great on a 3D TV. The game is a nice action game with high difficulty, which forces the player to try different strategies, even on the easiest difficulty. That is quite fun, and well done because you can always switch between aircraft. The graphics are okay, except for the poor frame rate when turning quickly. The sound is nice, and the story keeps me playing, because it is unspectacular realistic, even though mostly told be spoken letters and simple CGI movies. A really underrated gem!

Sorcery is a Move Controller game like it should be: Different moves are implemented greatly into the game and the game itself is a rather short but very pleasing linear action adventure. The choosing of spells works by moving Move by different patterns and that is combined with shooting spells not in a game-gun style, but by snapping the wand to different directions and heights. The hero is controlled by the analog stick of the complimentary controller, meaning nunchuck-part or standard ps3 controller. The action is mixed with frequent and not to easy puzzles, that make your different spells, which become more and more as the games progresses, not only weapons for different enemies but also instruments to solve the puzzles. A real magical game. The downsides are just the short length of the game and that it is a not too easy, is this is a rather challenging game, but to simple for a tripple A game: there are not many layers of gameplay woven together. There is just action, looking for the way with nice graphics, puzzle, action again, buying and mixing new potions, peaces of story told and that again. That's not boring, it is a nice game, with good graphics and fun gameplay, but it won't bind you to your console for hours every day, like some other games do. But I really would have liked to see more games like this. It is definitely a hidden gem and to few Move games are as good with as good move-controlling! And using a move controller is, when it is as good implemented into gameplay, definitely more fun than playing with a normal one, the movements are just more immersing.

If you are a gamer, you will be disappointed. They could have made so much more of the "game". No points counted, so no sport self-comparison and high score hunting, actually not really a game, except for absolving each dance by moving enough. But if you are a dancer, this is great, because it is a little bit more than just a dance learning video, the music is nice, the dances are greatly shown, and if you don't care too much about not playing a game, but merely dancing with little response, it's quite good. A pity, because it could have been that much more, if the devellopers had learned a tiny bit of game like dance dance revolution or similar.

Time Crisis 1 and 2 are so much better, I have even more fun with these on Emulator with mouse, than the "so called" Time Crisis 4 with the "so called" Light Gun (Move controller). The precise and singular shots of TC1 and 2 are just more fun that the "ratatatatata" non-precise gunning in TC4. If I had a room large enough for an old TV screen, I would buy me a old GunCon and the old games. But: TC4 is not bad. Besides the disappointment with the shooting and the non-funcional time-system, it's an okay mediocre shooting game.

Okay this game is art, but even with a 3D-TV but without move controller I did enjoy it only a little: First the game is very hard. I played it for 4 hours, meant I played the first level 10 times, without beating it. Second problem is, most time you don't know what you have to shoot, so you try to shoot everything. So the gameplay feels a bit random. Then have colourful boxes and shapes flying around all the time is okay for the first time you play, but by the time it is boring and you long for something "normal". Later levels look nice on youtube, but how can I get there? I prefer flying through environment which I can at least associate it bit to something I know. So it's really a peace of art, and like many peaces of art, it is not really fun, except if you are a rail shooter pro (or maybe the move controller can do the trick) and therefore have access to the later levels soon, without being too bored to continue meanwhile.

I am playing the game for 8 of weeks now allmost every evening for 2-4 hours, at least 80 hours, and still can't stop. It is great, more addicting than XCOM: Enemy Unknown (from 2012). But, similar to Enemy Unknown 2012, I think that the replay value is pretty low. When the story is done I was so fed up with repetition which after some weeks of playing you see through all the variation they built in. So it is much more addicting than the one UFO Enemy Unknown (european name, XCOM Ufo Defense was the us name I think) from 1994, but the replay value of the 1994 version still is higher because of it's much higher complexity.

Okay, it is a pretty looking version of ****. I bought it, because it is one of the rare two-button-shooters on the system. There are also 3 types of weapons on the first planet. But when you play the game for two hours without advancing at all - I got stuck before the first checkpoint - the game gets boring very quick: Always the same enemys and weapons don't make you play is as long as you might one day absolve the whole planet after 10-20 hours of training basically the same **** game I played in the eighties. There might be much more variety, but the game is simply too hard for that gamer with 30 years of experience that I am - I am not too good at action games I admit. So, maybe fans of hardcore hard games might like this, but I regret the 8 euro I spend on the game.

One of my favorite action air sim games ever, especially of because of the 3D (stereoscopic), the action gameplay, the engaging story and the big change in the missions. I don't care that the story is told by voices and non-moving comic pictures: I got more stuck to it than the standard animated hero stories, because the change and development of the non-heroic heroine and her friends makes me more identify and feels more realistic how war has been to those who got caught up in it. And the missions and even airplanes are so different from one another that it is a joy. The biggest pity is the pretty short story and the pretty unpractical cockpit views which lead you to fly either from behind the plane or **** front view.

If you like open world driving games, TDU2 is for you. Graphics are not the best found, but nice; sound and handling are pretty good and the difficulty becomes too hard when you have beaten half the game, but the variety of cars and races is great! The game especially is the right one for you, if you prefer to have not only racings, but also missions where you just drive around and look for things, taking special photos for example. Of course TDU2 could have been much more, as a lot of nice ideas of TDU1 where not further devellopped or even discontinued. But visiting every corner of two gigantic islands, an hawaiian island and an mediterranian one with a huge variety of vintage, sports and offroad cars compensates everything! If you update the game to newest version you can even use the stereoscopic 3D glasses (given you own the 3D screen and 3D glasses)! Even though the 3D looks better in other 3D games, it's a nice extra I enjoy anyway. This is my favourite PS3 game.

Playing Avatar in 3D-mode with a 3D-TV is a great experience! I really got **** into the game and it is the first 3D game, where the 3D-effect can be set to "too strong". Leaving it to "middle" is allready stronger than most 3D-games and for me that is perfect. I like the open-world approach to the game, even if - compared to other open world titles - there is not much to do, but a little collecting and the side missions. The world is great and amazing even to fly around on pandora. The side-game à la "board game risk on pandora" though is pretty forgetable.

It's a pity that this is not the full game Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, but only a part of it. Just a part of the tracks, only a few vehicles and the biggest pity: Only one mode to play. Not even all options concerning sound, video and gameplay can be changed. BUT: The stereoscopic 3D with this game is GREAT! A was blown away the first times I played it. Even after playing it for a week, I come back to the beautiful 3D island where this races take place and even enjoy replaying the same race over and over again, because even the game starts of easy, after 6 tracks it becomes really rock hard. Other racing games may have more tracks, vehicles to chose, are not dominated by the turbo boost and so on, but looking at these flat non-stereoscopic games is just like playing with just 256 colours, when you could have 24bit colour depth. Of course only if you happen to own one of these 3D-TVs they used to sell 2010-12 and a matching pair of 3D-glasses. A nice game, but a full 3D version of Pacific Rift would have been much nicer!

This game is very frustrating, and that is because is a fun game, too. Most elements are quite right and a lot of nice and funny ideas are packed into the game, so you want to play it again and again: the RPG-like leveliing system, the humorous style of the characters and the commentators, the bridges and trees a obstacles in the courses, the cart-driving and beating mini-games. I really do like how they implemented these things in the game. But there are two rather small design choices, that make playing the game a very frustrating thing to me: A. it is very hard, and I hardly ever hit the bar on the right spot - and when I do once, it is likely I didn't hit it straight. Even the "Mr.Chicken"-cheat, which is supposed to make the tour mode easier buy turning the skills of the AI golfer down, doesn't really help, because your AI-partner (which you are obliged to have in the tour mode, in the only way to play the game regular with the chance level up your character and unlock the courses) becomes much worse in golfing that your AI-opponents. B. Second the game forces you to watch your opponents and partner how they prepare for the hit. When they hit the ball you can cancel the flight, but you have to watch them how they adjust their club and that takes a lot of time between your hits. So you have to stay a lot of time in front of the game between your own play to watch the opponents, beeing frustrated you didn't hit the ball like you wanted and wanting to do it better. Why do gaming companies do that? Don't they know that a game can be hard but not frustrating, if you don't have to wait for the next chance to try it again when you screwed up? To play one hole, even if yourself just play 2 minutes, you have to watch the others for 4 minutes every hole, meaning the whole tour endures 18x6 minutes without the possibility to save the game in between. I really would like to play again, but I protect myself from that frustration by not playing. Maybe, if you have better reflexes than I have, you might like it, because all together, it is not a bad game.

Test Drive Unlimited is one of my favorite games and surely one of the game which took the most of my time. I have to say that what I like so much is the relaxing simpleness and freedom the game brings. After a hard day of work I like just to cruise around for some time without any single race or challenge. But then you get it starts: getting seduced to drive a race, getting money, saving to buy a new car, the new car getting faster, winning more money becaus of being faster, and buying another new car. This is so addictive, and very well balanced in this game. But the best of the game is great driving mechanics: I never played a playstation game where driving felt so real and the handling so much fun after getting a bit used to it. The fun is that you really progress quickly as you drive. And you really feel the wheight of car, the strength of it's motor and so on. That's why every car feels so different and - although I am a car-hater in real life - I heard myself saying: This car really is fun. The downsides are the scenery which is nice but compared with other racing games pretty boring: Hawaii has some hills, beaches, volcanos, but in the game everything looks quite similar. No real dessert or jungle or mountain. The second problem is the frustrating moments when the car gets stuck because of hitting a street lamp with some pixels of it's front and you loose as many seconds that you have to restart the race all over again. Although that happens some times, the frustration is limited, because you are allowed to repeat the race, which normally is not longer than 5 minutes, as often as you like. The last thing I don't like is you are not allowed to use the analoge stick for accelerate and brake. But the positiv moments of the game are much stronger than the negetive ones. The design decision I like most, is that you can drive cross country almost everywhere, Hawaii seems to be cover with grass which is short enough to play golf on it, so you can flee from the road even in a sports car. The challenges are not only races but also time trails and trying to be caught by speed traps with high speed. The police chases are nicely in the background of the game: this is not need for speed game. The tuning is just a simple choosing of three kinds of differently priced tuning kits: this is not an gran tourismo clone. There is no shooting and no tourbo. And that is exactly the nice thing: An allmost simulation like arcade racer in an really non-linear free open world mode where you are invited to free roam and explore for hours and build your wealth for weeks.

On of my TOP favorite racing games for various reasons: The game really is arcade and really is rally. 'Arcade' because you can really enter easily, and if you hit the boundries, you are forgiven most of the time. 'Rally' because you allmost allways slide. The thing you should care about is, so correct your slides a few times a second in big curves, in order to keep traction. This feature makes you really feel driving a rally car, even if it is a very quick super unrealistic arcade fun racer, which doesn't wait until the end of the race to give you feedback: The shock zone provide you 3 times a lap, with information if you a driving is worth bronce, silver or gold, or less. I really enjoy, that every race, even if you don't win, gives you point (=money) which you can spend on new cars. This non-linear gaming suits beginners and professionals. The super different landscapes, nice graphic effects and different styles of leagues (kompact, sports, muscle cars...) kept me playing for long time. Even the feelable rubberband effect (cars never go to far in front nor behind) feels okay and let's you stay in the action and contact with other cars.
