Dig: Season 110

Dig is a complex piece of drama which appeals to people like me who are interested in the historical aspects of the Bible; people like me who have read the book of Revelation and finally, people like me who are following the prophecies and know some things about the preparations for the Third Temple to be built. In my opinion the characters are interesting, the history sticks to the facts we have been told, realistic characters, a look at how Jerusalem is today, good script-writers, and the best location possible. I will point out that the plot is complicated, but made easier to follow if one has read anything about the Third Temple. I do realize this is a fictional "take" on what is in the process of happening. I do not know how long this story line can continue, but I do so much look forward each week to see what twists and turns come next.

Wolf Hall: Season 19

An enjoyable look at an important historical figure. This program gives a background to Oliver Cromwell. I do not recall any other historical program which has done so. As always with PBS Masterpiece, the main story line has added subtleties. The scenery, clothing, and ways they did things back in the 1500's I'm sure are historically accurate which adds enjoyment to this drama. I've been a fan of many of PBS Masterpiece Theatre since the 1960' or 1970's. A fascinating, well scripted part of history.
