I give this a 2 just for the visually impressive scenes. The thing is they are completely devoid of any feeling. The soundtrack is annoying and incredibly loud, masking the also empty dialogue. The story could have been told in 1 and a half hour, not even two parts. I think Lynch ultimately did a way better job at telling the whole story and got you invested in it. The Bene Gesserit were misrepresented in this new film.

I bet the reviews for this film have been scrubbed. I think it's a great film, with a great script (albeit with a few minor plot holes), amazing humour and incredible scenes that you don't even see as convincingly in modern Hollywood. Telly Savalas just steals the show at the end.

Complete garbage, lasting 3 loooong hours. Plotless, full of empty dialogue, gory scenes as if made by a 10 year old boy.

Just no. Boring, complete lack of chemistry, depressing and degenerate. Winslet tries to save the film but it's not possible. I was thoroughly disgusted several times and especially at the sex scenes.
