I want to chop the head off this movie. I was really excited for it, but this is honestly one of the WORST movies I have seen in years. So slow and boring that it would put a zombie to sleep. You’re not hip, you are just a poorly written & directed film sputtering Star Fumes. Just lazy. Don’t waste your time on this one.
I wanted to like this movie so hard, but it not
good. Even with the excellent cast, this film is a fish that never gets it’s bearings. Everything about it just feels kind of off, bland locations, by the numbers humor and plot. It has a couple funny moments, but not much else. I’d recommend just watching Tropic Thunder again instead.
A kid’s movie directed by Eli Roth... I was bored out of my mind and almost fell asleep. I’m not the target audience for this film but I’m sure most kids will find it lame. Jack Black will always be the man, but I guess I’ll just have to keep wishing for a Tenacious D 2 Movie *Sigh*
Crazy how Spielberg is still killing it at his age. A fun sci-fi adventure with excellent CGI. I have read the book and can say the film does a good job translating it to the screen. Lots of nods to classic video games and 80’s music. Definitely worth a watch.
After a long dryspell of lame Comedies, this movie was refreshing and different. If you like Flight of The Conchords or horror parodies you will love this film.
I don’t like horror/thriller movies really but this is one of the better ones of seen. Awesome set design and cheesy 90’s goodness. I could tell a lot of thought went into this one, more than the average slaughterama. Worth a watch if can do the gore which is about a 6 on the gore-o-meter.
Good film, but I thought the ending was kind of a let down. Better than Hateful Eight which I wasn’t a big fan of. Good acting and cinematography. Worth a Redbox.
Straight money grab. They will continue making mediocre movies like this because people will keep paying to see their favorite video game characters on the big screen regardless of how crappy the movie actually is. (I’m guilty also.) All I can say is that the character models of the Pokemon were cool. Could have been an awesome film. Oh well..
