I'm not gonna lie, in my mind stupid stuff appear when bored in class but Frobisher Says! it's over the top in stupidity. By using the Vita's capabilities and gimmicks FS does a humble job to show you the shine. Many mini games while being absurd and dumb delivers a funny good time much more when playing with friends that, enhance the experience in a whole new level.Little fails attempting tricky challenges is normal but not common overall, there's no need to worry or feel skeptical if it really justify the free download because at what it offers is clearly enough.
I don't think PASBR will win against the big daddy Smash Bros. but its a good addition to this type of the fighting genre. It's just a fun yet simple formula with a short catalog of characters that in my most sincere opinion many of them feel unnecessary to a game that is supposed to be very Sony like for example, here we have Raiden, Big daddy that by no reason this guy came first when the Xbox 360 was growing then Dante and Heihachi. And I mean many of these characters started in with the PS back in the day but they are starting to feel multi -platform in this generation the other complain is many of these characters the ones naturally from Sony are forgettable and I mean forgettable in terms of popularity why no Crash or Spyro in favor of Toro while is a Sony character is still not so relevant But anyway other than that the gameplay is very intriguing with a responsive style well checking it I'm glad Sony made this and I'm very glad they have found a clever style for their own family
Technically this phenomenon is just freaking well made with it's pace and fluid game play .For any PS Vita user this is simply a most own for the system
Back to Karkand was a fine made expansion bringing the best maps from BF2 , Close Quarter impressed me with its different pace and fast , adrenaline power and Armored Kill was a good pack , giving gamer's the BF style that distinguishes the franchise. Aftermath just like Close Quarter , is fresh and entertaining starting from Epicenter to the not so over the top Azadi Palace ( impressive map in scale and destruction ) .But the player here is not only the maps, but the new mode Scavenger. Scavenger mode consists of players starting a match without weapons ( Rifles),class specializations ( no medic packs, no support packs ) but only a secondary pistol, one team starts with all the flag captured and the other needs to rush as fast as they can . The struggle here is that you need to learn from every pistol and use everything at your disposal because there's nothing more to kill and encourages player to play in a more team based way, and of course, ammo is very limited in every weapon so that you need to swap, change very often unless you get killed again and respawn with nothing. In simple words Scavenger is like the classic Halo mode matches , you never had a class or anything, only the weapons you saw , and needed. The map pack also brings a interesting weapon called the X-bow ( that it is a crossbow ) almost everything in the assignments are based on the weapon , for example ill a quantity of enemies and you get a new type of arrow for it. So for anyone interested in Aftermath this is a good expansion in the franchise and fresh compared to the previous map-packs from BF3 and the whole BF franchise. Oh and there are earthquakes!
" Japan is dead " that's what many western videogame companies and designers may say , and let's be clear , Japan made many of the best known videogames out there but of course , they have lost a little of that glamour that made them stand in top for a long time . So for anyone skeptical of Ninja Gaiden II no need to worry , because the game plays fantastic and it really leaves you with a lot of pleasure killing, slicing and dismembering enemy's with a tone of dread that will make The Joker cry by how exaggerated Ninja Gaiden is . There's also a variety of weapons making every murder pleasant and jaw-dropping .
Out of all the Clash of Ninja out there , the lowest is the first CONR , due to the fact that , it's so similar to the original Clash of Ninja 2 and have some stuff that I consider dull . While the gameplay scheme is the same with a few new characters, the feel is not what it is supposed to be but all around it , it's simply fine.
Replaying this again but in the PS3 , there's really not much of a difference and plays significantly like a dated PS2 game. Of course, the co-op is the key of success here and much of the content it's very basic. Though in my opinion this is really the perfect game to play with a buddy.
Armored Kill is a fair , well made map-pack , but don't let the nostalgia blinds you , the replay ability really doesn't last that much and you mainly will be playing the standard maps. But of course a few upgrades , new dogtags add a good chunk of time to unlock them. Right now the map of choice is Alborz Mountain apart from being the only snowy map , it's one of the best achievements ( ignoring Bandar Desert that , at times feel boring to play ) . Also don't forget this is the first time BF3 have the use of the AC-130 , that will undoubtedly break your game in less than 3 minutes , add RUSH as the mode and this will cause you to explode in rage .
No matter how many times you argue about it Dishonored is the best surprise of the year and probably a contender of Game of the Year either users or critics alike , and mostly ( and commonly ) the " haters " simply will thrash everything by their lack of taste. So to top it off, we had the over the top , fluid, almost perfect control scheme that makes this game shine set with a variety of powers , weapons , diverse locations on a single level , and creative missions . This elements will guide you through all the game and most likely will ease all your troubles when you acquire/improve powers . Arkane did not only made you a scary entity in the game it also made a solid AI that will cause you to break your head just to find out what possible solutions you can do to make a easy escape , mistakenly leave trails of your victims , a " piece of cake " entry to a mansion or a gory yet disappointing death for you . It sounds hard right ? well you get the hang of it , because you will want to be Corvo every time you assume the control of him and you want skills to feel awesome. The story itself , is clever and you can sense some sort of dark tone with every decisions in the conversations . With all these things in single game you need to say one thing for sure, single-player games still rock even on this generation full of multiplayer games.
A fair well made game if you expect a full " Rock Band " experience . For PSP users suffering for not having to many things in the device , RB does a little to entertain and be good time killer .
The most controversial game for whether the disappointing ending or the satisfying finale . I can't argue more the ending by their different views but what is behind the full package is a worthy trip . The game-play feels like a normal shooter , with a very fluid combat system , better melee feel and the violent sounds of the guns that doesn't sound like the typical * peew * * peew * of franchises like Star Wars . Graphically seems more superior than the previous entry and it offers a more intense story-line thanks to the overused Reaper name in the last episodes . The added cut-scenes only brings a little more detail in what happened in certain parts but it isn't something that will blow your **** off . With the multiplayer dominating this videogame landscapes, ME3 doesn't get behind either but don't expect to be better than other shooters , is simply odd and weird for a RPG game . Try ME3 if you really think it will satisfy you and read many reviews as you can to be sure if this " resolution " will add you peace for your Sheppard or frustration after saving the world countless of times.
From the simple perspective of finding those missing papers to the first appearance of Mr. Slender , this is an interesting game with a nice depth of mystery.
MGS HD Collection for the PS Vita, is a most-have for the handheld device . Despite , not exactly the perfect compilation of games ( I mean , both are amazing games, it's just that , there's not a third one ,whether Portable Ops or Peace Walker ) . Few new features like the touch movements , Rear pad seems interesting and may make the game feel a little " new " at the moment , but does not exactly enhance the experience though ,the game feels and plays on par of the cousins versions ( console ). Also , its a good start for those that don't have a PS3 and 360 , although for those that have the systems , consider a better choice the console versions .
As a HUGE fan of TLOZ , the biggest flop started with Zelda II , and I'm not saying it's wrong at all but it doesn't feel like a true TLOZ experience . Even with this port , it doesn't do anything significantly dramatic to make it better. Still for TLOZ fans it's worth a try .
I gotta say that CQ feel isn't the pure Battlefield style and moves a little to the edge of a CoD formula. But it does surprisingly good to maintain a better height and gets a nice tone that is fun. Even though , getting shot without rest is very annoying .
Overall the broken game-play doesn't add to much of entertainment and the tracks are completely unplayable and its not the tracks itself , the fault is the camera , none of it helps a clear view of the race and unfortunately you will be smashing every time in the edges , making it almost impossible to really have a nice control , pack it with a desperate techno/dubstep soundtrack and there you have a dumb game. But what really shines is the price (free ) and this kinds of faults really aren't much of attention but they needed to get more polish for , even a free product . Consider this a guilty pleasure and you will be fine enough.
PvsZ its an interesting choice for PS Vita users , and its better when you haven't played any of the other versions of the game in the other systems . While the Vita version has a nice gimmick , for example , tilting adds a little of flexible game-play and little bit easier . Consider the game a worthy one but ignoring the price tag of $14.99.
The story-line is very poor but what truly shines from this average game is the nice executed combat and interesting setting/world. If you can set yourself with this two stuff , then it'll probably make worth your time .
You will feel depressed right on the beginning , and that's one of the characteristic of old Max . Leaving the cold to the tropical Brazil , Max Payne still can't surpass his horrible past , thugs and the scums aren't giving Max a good welcome , and they will try to complicate every step that Max makes. Graphically , the engine is probably one of the best out there , and maybe the best looking game from the company of GTA.Movements like jumping , dolphin diving and many other really are impressive . In the story side , i can't say it was the best ( made from Rockstar ) but was quite well written.
The PSP always had the problem with FPS games ( Medal Honor etc ) , and N.O.V.A isn't doing the difference but is something that can't be avoided in gameplay side. Though if you feel mixed about N.O.V.A , well it has flaws , but it's doing at least the effort to be playable , the game could be more famous on the IOS community and if you have the option do it.
If you're into fighting games and want something fresh Blaz Blue it's probably the best option nowaday and hell much better for the PS Vita, the gameplay feels more comfortable on the portable system than on the big guy ( PS3 ) , and if you thought that the graphics looked lazy , the portable system does some magic on the game. And the Extend subtitle is a genuine name for it, it really has many content that will likely be in use often. Just make this one a necessary tittle to your game library .
TCGRAW its traditionally a perfect example of what is a tactical war-game in a way that makes you think you're intelligent and smart to carefully move and take care of your platoon. Ignoring the graphical aspect , GRAW is marvelous.
Wow I just say wow, I almost forgot that I played the first entry of the green tank, you feel like him , it smash with fury , it fulfills the Hulks style.
The Nintendo DS is a remarkable system with an unmatched quality , starting with a solid ( endless ) catalog of incredible games and neat content. Even if, the 3DS launch its growing and getting better , the DS will still have a few years to perish , but lets not forget that this system was the responsible of giving us the fond moments in Brain Age and the awesome moments with New Super Mario Bros.
Assassins Creed has become a monster of a franchise in less than ten years at the moment , it has a strong/solid story , its awesome and it does right to convince the people. However, if you're willing to throw the cash right on ACR , is not a wrong move , but it isn't the best chapter on the AC hysteria in the same time that it's not fresh as I thought it was gonna be. Anyway, the team at Ubisoft did nicely to present the city of Constantinople , very gorgeous at first glance , packed with a better engine ( that , its the responsible for giving it life ) . the action cutscenes are varied and it's a fun moment to watch and experiment to see more , and more action sequences like for example , Ezio ( with the hookblade ) jumps a rope and then stabs a guard while in mid air is superb. Also the introduction does nice to the franchise by the reason that starts in a bang and differentiate from the previous entries completely . Even with this awesome stuff, there are still problems with the gameplay, undesired deaths comes when the twitchy control schemes gets through your path and makes you smash the game , dumb AI and clumsy crowd gets stuck in the middle of a fight , yet Ubisoft came with the idea of implementing the tower defense , and lets put this simply: Its stupid . Multiplayer wise , though I'm not considering to get my stats flaming like hell because I'm not gonna be focused on that option . But with the knocks and the brawls , ACR still has the glamour for captivation .
A tricky gameplay to master but with an interesting value of entertainment , also the scenery or look of the game its passable . Consider this a worthy game for your IOS.
Bland missions can't make the PSP (AC) version be a magnificent experience , however , if you're a truly AC fanatic in terms of story side, there is a possibility that it'll attract you.
Crash TR is undoubtedly a fun game with some of the best cartoonish tune and tone similar to the Crash games. With a lot of content addicting modes, tracks playability , makes the game a strong competitor of Mario Kart and other kart games.
The appealing of the latest MK ( last year ) was outstanding, and it captivated my appeal for fighting games, so, Armageddon was the faulty chapter that completely made me hate the fighting genre, but is not a bad game at all, its just not satisfying as it should be.
This is a fact, the graphics makes me cry by the cutesy that brings packed with the most simplistic gameplay formula . For fans and casual gamers , MMPU will be a worthy tittle the it'll make your PSP proud .
Frosty region , cool DeathKnights, nice missions and a lvl cap up to 80. Face it, WOTLK may not be the most intriguing addition, yet more of the same, but it still a nice force to the WOW formula keeping it alive a bit longer.
The story linearity is short for gamers that plays a lot in a day, for DBZ fans , consider this a punch in the face. Three important modes that will likely be in use often, the first one is the main story ( before mentioned ) , the other is the Duel one where you actually pit two players one on one and finally the best varied option is the tournament where it was used countless of times in previous DBZ games but hopefully Budokai's tournament style is the best option for those interested . Graphically Budokai is fine enough ( though this was the first and the last DBZ game to include those daunting graphics) , playability side is easy to pick in the first try . Consider this the superior DBZ fighting game, although is short on content.
Fast paced fighting style and violent combos right in the air may attract DBZ maniacs ( of course, me included ) . The only problems visible is, how short and lacking of content Super Sonic Warriors is.
Recently, I'm playing the PS3 version for one of the best games from these generations and what I can say it's that, I didn't find any problem at all in the single-player (glitches , technical problems , or playability difficulties ) . In simple words, Red Dead Redemption is another master piece brought to you by the folks from Rockstar , without a doubt is a definitive tittle to your library.
I was expecting a lot more, KOAR didn't drowned like many forgettable games out there but it's not a impressive game . With visuals like the Fable series, combat similar to Fable and and an interesting world may convince RPG fans. I'm not that person, but I'm fine that I played KOAR. The begining has its hits and miss and the conversations are hilarious , the facial animations of the main characters is lifeless and the same description it's the same for the person talking to your avatar. Cartoonish violence filled with gory scenes it's a little bit out of contrast by the reason that everything is cute and out of place. However , if you're eager to try KoA and you want to play something fresh , the game delivers , while not the " perfect " recommendable game, you wont feel "stolen" or disappointed .
Burning Crusade is a nice addition to anyone eager to play more of WoW, of course , with some new , interesting contents the expansions its necessarily important to any person that is starting the WOW mania. Even though, at this time is a little late with the entry of diverse MMO coming and that came recently.
GTA III is a classic , Rockstar's creativity to make an open-world/sandbox game at that time was innovative. You can send hours goofing on the streets killing, destroying or crashing cars , set with an interesting story that will not be forgotten for those that payed attention. GTA III delivers enough to satisfy last generation and current/future generation alike.
Mario it's a very talented man , showing in sports games, saving the princess a thousand of times , he also participates in countless of racing competition, also maintains his positive reputation against the show off Sonic and heck ! He even has his own RPG. Thats impressive for this mature man, anyway , Mario & Luigi Partners in Time it's a different take and also a very fresh entry on the already huge franchise . The game is overall interesting until the end, but after that start feeling empty and boring. While the take, wasn't that much of a full RPG side I'm pleased with many of the ideas taken from triple A franchise's and the story is great for awhile , however , everything is forgettable after beating the game.
The Socom franchise have felt a decreased value over the years, while, maybe it innovated some elements in the past, the series it's starting to show a lot of age, and taking the formula to " internet only " or " online only " whatever you may put it, this serves as an example of how low and dumb the tactical franchise have received in the last years. My first match was plagued with bugs and a heck of a lot of unbalanced kills/deaths in the couple hours. I may love some stuff, but they do NOT steal you from other juggernaut multiplayer games , and with an era that we live , full of FPS and smooth gameplay, SOCOM:Confrontation doesn't last at all, and it's not good , it's a little wimp . But, if you want to play a good exclusive from the PS3, play Killzone 3 (multiplayer side of course ).
As a stagnating franchise and as an unimportant " new " episode to the video game family, Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is completely stupid still, the sequel is a nice part worth having, but not this .
Dino Cap 2 tells the story of a dinosaur that became enraged by how bad the game itself is. Nope, thats not true, but what its true is how redundant the game progress and how dumb the repetitiveness grows, which, i consider this a waste of time .
Tired of Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja ? Then Temple Run is a definitive creative game that needs to be played. Tight gameplay, nice challenges, neat graphics which I preferred more a 2D look rather than a dusty, bland look, but Temple Run is a important game no matter what type of gamer you're.
Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation it's a worthy/strong tittle that needs to be in your IOS, and if you appreciate the huge epic CoD moments then , there's no complain apart from the unresponsive gameplay.
Its ugly , everything looks nasty in every way, combined with a desperate rock music as a background , makes the pace desperate and amusing. Still, the action or battles ( whatever they are ) have a nice value , and sometimes feels interesting . The AI is laughable , one of the enemies attacked me and then he stood there , starring me like 20 seconds ,after that he did that repeatedly . While I'm not completely pissed off or disappointed this isn't the game you want to have for your PSP .
Impossible right ? Well you got that right , Grip Games made a simple concept but complex design. If you think that what m saying isn't true, then how about this: Im still in the first level .
Does Phantom Hourglass could be the best Zelda game made ? Nope , not at all . Nintendo at least, managed to capture the essence of the console versions but fails a little to make it ideal. The puzzles are one of the best made yet . But I'm not falling for that because it isn't that great the touch screen ( in this game ) is not responsive and the world doesn't feel compelling. I'm sure the other Portable Zelda games are much better and more appealing . Still, the story is passable and neat for DS owners.
Many will disagree completely with my review in terms of the score but , I'm not going to talk about the technical difficulties. TES:Skyrim could be even stated as an " update " to the already good stuff from Oblivion , graphically Skyrim manages to be superb and beautiful . The snow particles , fogs, the blizzards in the North are gorgeous . Bethesda Softworks put efforts in the combat, Oblivion's combat wasn't that satisfying or a lovable moment when you were exploring , from a Bow , magic and swords Skyrims delivers. In the story side its also the most intriguing chapter of the franchise and most interesting , that, it also made me to search for information all over the Net to know more and understand some stuff that were vague in the predecessor . Even the music is awesome , the moment you fight a dragon, you know it can't be ignored and the music pop out of the shadow. Skyrim may be bad for the PS3 , but I'm completely sure that it captures the essence of being a classic , and I'm referring to the game not a version .
This may be that only game of Sonic that I have really enjoyed much better if it is the in the last Sega console. While a may not remember as clearly , Im going directly to the entertainment it offered . Sonic fans may start looking for this one... if they can find it .
Back in the day graphics , physical destructions , huge landscapes getting torn apart with endless bombards and watching soldiers blown away was awesome . But MOHF start to feel rinsed and colorless. The game start to show age , but , its still a piece of innovation even with all this years .
I'm impressed , surprised, wowed , satisfied and most of all happy . Bioware did not just perfected the story , it made it an impact in our lives with those decisions . Its gorgeous and brilliant , it surpass in every standard its predecessor , and makes everything right . Combat wasn't a strong point in the last one but, the sequel makes a high step , above and far away , combined with a better strategical parts . Amazing
