One of the best games for PSVR, and it's not mentioned enough in PSVR conversations. It's a kind of rhythm game that kind of takes place in hell that features awesome music and super engaging, nail-biting, twitch mechanics.

You bounce soccer balls off your head across dozens of different scenarios, and a clever, mysterious narrative ties the whole package together. Also features trade-off multiplayer options for party play. One of the PSVR's sleeper hits.

Rez has been remade a few times now since debuting on the Sega Dreamcast/PS2. It's still an amazing shooter, and it's best played in VR -- also features a made-for-VR final level.

This isn't a game. It's a free VR animated film, and it's a MUST OWN. Brilliant and tragic.

I Expect You To Die

An environmental, first-person puzzle game where players, as a secret agent, have to escape from a number of scenarios. The developers added an extra level for free and extended the playtime for the game. While a single playthrough may not take more than 2-3 hours, people may return to try to get hidden trophies and beat the levels in record time. With a few more levels, and an overarching narrative, this might even be a 9.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR

It's a game that lets you literally step into the world of Skyrim. I can't imagine a better selling point. While the Moves offer more immersion, playing with the DS4 gives you the controls you're used to while also allowing the PSVR to place you in the world. Astounding.

If you ever wanted to feel like you were in The Matrix, this game is for you. Intuitive controls that involve players side-stepping, ducking, dodging, firing and throwing objects at oncoming enemies. It's a rush to play and one of the highlights of PSVR. The only thing holding this game back is its short length -- but it does have a "forever mode" for those who want to test their skills.

If Limbo or Inside were in VR, they would look a lot like Lost Bear. It's a cute, quaint 2D platformer that makes an excellent, clever use of the depth of field offered by VR. While on the short side, it's worth the trip.

If Portal were about solving box puzzles instead of portal-ing around, it would be Statik. This is a sleeper hit on PSVR. It has mind-bending puzzles that integrate the DualShock 4 really well and a creepy and intriguing mystery at its core. Support this title.

It's more a piece of interactive digital theater than a game, but if you understand that going in, it's a surprisingly interesting story to unravel over the course of a few hours. A unique experience on PSVR.

Arizona Sunshine

While not a blockbuster action game, Arizona Sunshine offers an engaging, solid campaign mode, with DS4, Moves, or (my favorite) the Aim controller, co-op mode, and a fun horde mode (if you can find people to play with).

The best "climbing" game on PSVR. A real sense of momentum and a tangible feeling of heights. A few annoyances, like resetting if your head enters the level geometry, but all around one of the best titles for the platform as of June 2018.

Creative and wild narrative universe. Engaging first-person/third-person gameplay along with fast traversal and tight shooting mechanics. Not only a great game but a great message that communicates themes of environmentalism and the dangers of privatization of natural resources better than many novels and films do. A genuine classic of the medium. We are blessed that Just Add Water was able to bring this gem to a new generation in a better than ever form.
