Super Mario Odyssey8
Oct 30, 2017
Story - As common to the classic Mario game. Its story didnt really stay away from its generic line. It is still the same Mario saves Peach from Bowser kind of story. The main difference though is the story does not only revolve now with those three with the addition of Mario's new mate Cappy and other Hat like characters. Its ok but still standard. Thus, an OK score of 7/10 Gameplay - Now this is the game's main strength, Mario games has always been the first in line in platforming/puzzle games and this game isnt different, the puzzles are awesome, many, unique and keeps you interesting until the end of the game. Its an added bonus that you have like 800+ moons to collect which makes it more worthwhile. In addition, I love how they somehow delved into semi open world genre which has different and unique worlds to explore. A very good mixture of 3d and 2d gameplays elements was executed in whole. It is also good that an addition of cappy usages was added also as well as its possesion/capture mechanic which gives you a chance to use enemies in game. All in all, a masterpiece in this aspect. A score of 10/10 Graphics - I love how the different worlds of Mario Odyssey is different and unique with each other and has different colors (though the colors looks plain and lazy.) Design though of the characters, enemies and npcs was for me is pretty below average as well. However, I love how the game is 60 fps and you could really enjoy it smoothly. Thus, a score of 8/10 Sound - I love the music of this game. I love its in game songs, the music of each and every world and the sound effects of its gameplay. Kinda childish but doesnt really affect it much. As to the character voice though like the zelda games are all awfully done with childish moans or scream. It is still stupid how after all this years Nintendo is still Lazy to hire voice actors to add identity to their characters. Therefore, a score of 7/10 Fun factor - A new scoring system on my review. Now despite all of what I have said above. I really enjoyed my whole experience in the game. Athough personally this game is much more easier and forgiving compared to its galaxy counterparts. It is still decent cause its fun. Regardles, personally it is one of my GOTY candidates for this year together with other great games like Nier: Automata, Persona 5, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Divinity Original Sin II. Thus, a score of 10/10. Average score - 8.4

Story - The fact that it is a Yoko Taro game shows that if you want to see and know the whole story, you MUST finish it all and unlock all endings. The story can be generalized as follow; Earth is now dominated by "aliens" and the human race fled and is now living in the moon. The group of androids named "Yhorha" has the main task of retaking Earth and defeating the aliens in it. The main protagonists of the game are 2B, and android whose unique trait is being calm, 9S, an android whose unique trait is showing more emotions compared to other androids and the third protagonist in the game is A2, a prototype android for 2B's class and whose unique trait is being solitary and prefers to work alone. These 3 are the main core of the game and Yoko Taro's Nier story. All i can say is I love the unique way of storytelling made by the developers in game in which more and more of the story is revealed the more you actually tried to unlock the other endings and at the end. All i can say is it is tragic, but satisfactory and good. A score of 9/10. Gameplay - Now this is where the second developer Platinum games forte. I can say it is one of their bests gameplay developed in their careers, it is better if not equal to Bayonetta's hack and slash gameplay and obviously better than the Revengeance gameplay. It's smooth and fast paced its awesome. In addition, other style of mini games was also included in game like the classic overhead shooter view, the 2-D side scroller gameplay, etc. Even though sometimes it becomes confusing because of how fast the game moves it is till great. Awesome job by Platinum Games. A score of 10/10 in this aspect. Graphics - The animation, character movement and character design are all awesome. The fan favorite of Cosplayers is 2B's Goth outfit and we wont ever forget her gorgeous and game changing sexy android butt. As well as other character's design like the Yorha's commander and A2. However, my issue is the color of the environment, its bland and lifeless, although i could see why they did that since its apocalyptic, it is still becoming boring if all you see in the environment are dominated by the colors black, white and yellow. Another issue i had is the enemy designs, it is pretty generic and lazily done. Though some are cute looking, nothing really out of all made me impressed. Therefore, a score of 7/10 deserves this spot. Sound - No need to say anything. GOTY when its comes to soundtrack and character voice. 10/10 Average = 8.75 Platinum games has now redeemed themselve and is back in the game with the release of this awesome game and Yoko Taro's unique storytelling added that cherry on top. This game is a recomended buy to anyone who misses the fast paced hack and slash game genre. Its totally worth it,

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild7
Mar 14, 2017
Story - Of course, its your typical Zelda game with good vs evil or to be specific Link (amnesiac) vs. Calamity Ganon. The difference in this installment is that before the start of the game. Zelda lost...thats that. Nothing really interest me the whole campaign nor there was any good characterization of each and every character. Its like the game assumes you know who is who and what is and whats not. I cant say it is bad, but on today's standards...Typical doesn't do anymore. A score of 7/10 Gameplay - Now this is where the game shines. Its gameplay is great! The open world is interactive, storms gets you lightnings if you wield a sword, rain makes climbing slippery and boxed, things, etc. actually hurt when it falls on you, Fruits actually grow on trees through time. The fighting mechanics is also good, with the addition of parries and slow motion mode. Added those things with the unique and classic great puzzles of the zelda franchise. However, not everything is perfect in this aspect. The durability system is **** up that weapons get destroyed in 5-6 hits used. in fact you need atleast 20x of each types of weapons to actually not worry about losing them, next the bosses as well as ALL enemies of this game has bad AI, other than them looting weapons on the ground(which is cool btw) nothing really gives me any challenge from any of them. You just need to press that attack button and no need of actual dodging to actually beat most of the creeps ingame and lastly, the world despite being ok, is lifeless. Therefore, a score of 8/10 Graphics - Well, its cartoonish, colorful **** butt ugly as of today's console standards. Yeah the graphics IS decent in handheld mode, but the console is really a pain in the eyes to see. Its so outdated, the design of walls, etc. pixels are so obvious its painful. Thus, a fair score of 6/10. Sound - I dont have any complaints with the soundtrack of the game. Its great, the intruments used are good, pleasant to the ears and soothing. The same could not be said to the character voice though, i could say the devs didnt really put any effort on that aspect which clearly showed how lazy they are in doing atleas a decent job in putting gooding voice acting to the game's characters. A score of 8/10 Total average = 7.25 First of all. Imo, seeing how HIGH this game in the critics column of the game page. I could say its really overrated. Seeing as most of the reviewers that made it where mostly likely been a fan of the franchise since they were little and that feel of nostalgia got them to be biased with the game. As for me, its not right, BOTW IS A GOOD GAME, but no way in hell it is a masterpiece. The game doesn't really did any revolutionary in its gameplay to consider it a "best" nor its story is that engrossing too as well its graphics and environment ist really that good or anything. IT IS JUST A GOOD GAME WITH A ZELDA TITLE. hell, i think if its another title an d without "zelda" in it then this would be averaging 70-75 in the metacritic. regardless, i gave what i feel a score that shows what the game is to those potential buyers. Is it worth it if you have a switch? well, you dont have a choice since its the only decent out there. But imo, wait for more good games to come out before buying switch.

Final Fantasy XV8
Dec 9, 2016
Story - As far from previous final fantasy games (except FF13), they usually have interesting to great story or plot but as far as FFXV goes, it is still dissapointing despite the hype. The main story is short for a open world game, the story is too simple, too serious sometimes, and some parts are annoying and majority of the characters are unlikable or not even memorable except the main antagonist (wont spoil) and the leading lady which are for me the best characters in the game, they are even better than the boyband protagonist. As summary for the story, Noctis the prince of Lucis on the day the start of the game will have a wedding ceremony with Lunafreya, A former princess of Tenebrae and an oracle for a peace treaty between Lucis and Nifleheim. However, While Journeying to the place of the wedding, the group learned on the way that the empire of Nifleheim have betrayed Lucis and stole its crystal, in addition, King Regis (Father of Noct), Lunafreya and Noctis himself has been announced dead following the betrayal. It is now Noctis and his friends mission to take back Lucis from his enemies and also recover ancient artifacts which he can use against Nifleheim. The story then includes some complications and shows secrets in between. The side quests really doesnt help either since most are just fetching quests which are repetitive nowadays in open world games. Still though, I love the interaction of the main characters in game though. A score of 7/10. Gameplay - The game borrowed the gameplay mechanics of another big Square enix title Kingdom Hearts. It is simple, action packed and nice for an RPG game. It is satisfying. Another good addition on the game is the things you can do in the world, fishing, riding cars, getting selfies and many other things that makes the world alive and fun. However, the cons of the game is you can only control Noctis in game. You cant use other characters, in addition, the spell mechanic of this game is bad. so bad that i wont recommend you doing a magic build. Another thing to note is that shops are almost unusable since the only thing you can buy from them are weapons and a few items. A score of 8/10 will suffice. Graphics - Since the coming of PS3, gone are the days that Square Enix titles are the forefront of advanced graphics and beautiful scenery and environment. However, I can tell you that this game is BEAUTIFUL. The environment are gorgeous. The thing i really love from this game is the design of the monsters especially those large ones which are gargantuan in size. It is even better than the critically acclaimed Witcher 3 in terms of World and monster designs. So pretty, a score of 10/10 Music and sound - Im neutral on this one. This game really highlighted retro music of past FF games. It is good for me and fun, however, due to this, the game didnt put much new music for the ears to listen too. If you are a gamer of past FF games. You will be familiar with majority of the games soundtrack. As to voice acting, the english version ****. They are literally out of place, everyone is made like an FF character design and identical if you take away the bad haircuts or ridiculous and faces then suddenly you have one who speaks british accent, mexican accent, etc. I prefer gamers to use the japanese version. A score of 7/10. Overall average = 8 Finally, We're all here playing this game which spent 10 years to make. It is satisfying, fun and as a gamer of previous FF games. It is both a familiar and new experience for me. Is it good? OF COURSE IT IS. but is it better and revolutionary compared to some previous FF Games? OF COURSE NO. But regardless, this is still a must buy for those FF enthusiast out there. Congrats to Square Enix for putting their best to finally finish this game. Thanks

The Last Guardian9
Dec 6, 2016
Story - I dont want to spoil things, but i can assure you. The story is Amazing. In summary, You are just a mysterious boy who wound up in an unknown place together with a creature the boy named trico. Its whole campaign is both of you trying to escape together in that place while also learning the secrets behind it. What i really loved in this game is the growing chemistry and relationship of the two characters, at start, trico is really hard to pet or order and sometimes aggressive to you. But soon in the game, he will act like a pet who is always looking for his owner and will do everything for him. regardless it is an awesome experience. 10/10 for these part Graphics - Environment-wise, the game is beautiful though sometimes too bright. the frame rates is good in the PS4 Pro but struggles to be maintained in the standard PS4. However, everything is detailed, from the grass to the buildings and large posts and how everything crumbles in timed puzzles or etc. A very very pretty game to see. However, my biggest problem in the game is the animation of the main boy character, he is really out of place, i know they want the game to be artistic, but everything looks realistic from the environment to the creature Trico and suddenly you have a boy which is like a character made in the low graphics mode in the PS3. Sorry, cant really avoid that. A score of 8/10 will do. Gameplay - Now i see everyone hating on this part. But the devs already said before that it is bot for everyone. Why??? Because IF YOU HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED HAVING A PET IN YOUR LIFE THEN YOU WILL BE FRUSTRATED AND IMPATIENT TO TRICO. As for me, who had a pet dog. I really am amazed how realistic Trico is as an animal or pet. He is slow to react at first, easily distracted, easily scared of that weird rainbow like signs and his reaction when hungry, hurt or worried about you is spot on. I really am grown to love Trico. As for the negatives, the controls are clunky, the camera is bad esp at small place which adds unneeded difficulty in the game and how easy the puzzles are even though they are not giving much hint to you in game. A good 8/10 for me in this aspect. Music - Well, the soothing style of instruments playing when you are in a pretty place, exploring, etc. is really spot on. The music is beautiful, it is slow, mellow and really soothes your soul in a sense that you wont be scared to what lies ahead of you. Though could have wanted more music int he game cause everything is identical to the other. A score of 9/10 for me. Total Overall = 8.75 (will be rounded to 9) As a game which used a total of 7 years to developed (those who has no idea or never followed the game think it is 10 years) and IS MEANT TO BE A PS3 GAME and NOT ON PS2 (Sorry, need to educate some low IQ people) I am relieved and happy that they made a very good game like this, yes it has some problems but ICO and Shadow of Colossus the same had ones. So far, just the same with the previous two games team ico has made, this game has gave me a really memorable story and would not have second doubts to replay is again and again. I am really happy that these game is out here and as a long time follower to this game i am now able to enjoy and play. Atleast now we can all move on to the development hell everyone suffered and i am wishing team ico good luck for the game next game they are doing. Thanks. That is all.

Bloodborne9
Nov 7, 2016
Story/Campaign - Now, we all know Bloodborne doesnt really give the game's story outright to the player. But if we had time and put some effort in reading the lore in the description of various items, weapons, armors, rings, etc. Then you will now how rich the lore and story of bloodborne **** make it short, it tells the story of a hunter (which is the protagonist) who visited Yharnam to find a cure known as paleblood for his unknown illness but the problem occurs that the Paleblood had side effects which makes the ones who use it to become beasts. It is now your role as a hunter to hunt the beasts of Yharnam, find survivors and look for the main source of the problem while also fighting your bloodlust to become a beast. It is cool and I love how Fromsoft made this kind of storytelling. A good 9/10 score. Gameplay - This is the real strength of the game and a real killer (literally) for the gamers out there, warning: IT IS NOT FOR CASUALS OR THOSE WHO WANT TO ENJOY A GAME. Its fast, difficult and the enemies are all aggresive and could kill you fast if you dont know what to do or you dont plan ahead. What I really love from this game is its weapons which can transform to two forms or other uses like can be buffed or can also be used as a gun, etc. The bosses are difficult but beatable and awesome fights will come your way. A masterpiece but brutal gameplay for me. A very good 10/10 Graphics - Now, The game's graphics especially the environment are all good. I love how Yharnam's design has a gothic horror theme about them, and you will also pass some different and terrifying places like a large forest with a lot of snakes, a former church dominated by beasts a school which is hunted by its occupants and different nightmare which you will encounter grotesque and horrific monsters. My only issue is its frame drops when in intense fights and also how the armor of the game are alike with each other which lacks divisibility. Still though, a great 9/10 for me. Sound - Well, the sound of this game really puts the chills out of you esp the sound of thos ****, i really hate those **** themes are all ok and good but all in all no song nor theme really made me go wow or gave me memorable moments. A good 8/10 for me. Total Average - 9.25 From Soft really did a good job of making a Unique Souls-game type with making it faster and encourages more aggressive gameplay rather than hide in a shield and take it slow approach of gameplay. I really am happy how the souls has impacted the gaming industries and put that classic "difficulty" back in the discussion. A true masterpiece to me. Even though its not for everyone, it will be loved and appreciated by those true gamers out there. It deserves to be a GOTY contender of the year 2015

Story/Campaign - Well, the makers insomniac games are a vets in developing games and usually makes funny games but having mediocre storyline. This game is not different, the whole campaign is funny and weird as hell that you wouldnt mind what the story is. It involves a soda gone wrong which makes everyone mutated except the protagonist which mysteriously became a superhuman and now he and his friends wants to escape the apocalyptic like city. That's that. A score of 8/10. Gameplay - Now we're talking, THE GAMEPLAY IS AWESOME. Though tbh, i never really liked the scoring system of this game cause its limits you do things you want though it encourages you also to challenge yourself to do diverse and acrobatic way to kill your enemies. I really like the smoothness of the game and also its fast paced and recomended continuous in motion type of gameplay. Though, imo, its should have been better if they added more melee combat in game. Regardless, a score of 9/10. Graphics - Its cartoonish style of animation which is known to the developers really fits the weirdness of the game and i loved it. Its not dark and its brightness (even at night due to the lights) never really affected my experience cause of the colors being good mix of each other. A score of 8/10 Music - Well, i didnt like it. Though it obviously want to feel hard rock etc and to fit the fats paced game. Never really was a fan of rock music being put in game. 7/10. Total Average = 8 Well. Insomniac game never really dissapoints. I love all their game and this game gave me a good waste of my hard earned cash. Hopefully this series continues and be better since lets be honest, xbox line ups doesnt really have that many and good exclusives now in this generation. That is all,

Until Dawn8
Oct 16, 2016
Story/Campaign - First of all, its based on a B+ horror/slasher films which obviously, story is not its greatest strength and the decision making of all its characters are so bad you'll wish you are in the game to punch the lights out of their faces. However, what makes its story/campaign interesting is YOU, the player, will decide the fate of almost all of the characters. You may do your best to let them live or you may want to kill them all if you feel like it. You may also make the nicest character of them to be a murderer and so on. Its interactivity and your decision affects everything in the world of Until Dawn. A problem with these though is the fact that its not that scary, sure it has some jumpscares but its just a few and never really gave me a horror experience i want to feel in a horror game. A score of 7/10 imo in this aspect. Sound - Well, this is one of my main factors in a horror game. The timing of its sounds, sudden loud noises, etc. which affects the instensity of a horror game. In relation with the game, Its sound are ok and also well-placed in the game. Tbh, im had more jumpscares in my headphones than the actual game though, so it did a nice job atleast. A score of 8/10 deserves this aspect. Graphics - Now in relation of **** GREAT, the mist, the forest, the darkness, everything in the environment really feels creepy and gives you that scary and reluctance to even want to experience it. As to the characters, They all look realistic with the developers doing a good job in capturing their facial expression movement, everything. However, my main problem is its cutscenes which tends to lose its frame rate more often and some cutscene delays its unnerving considering it is a game/horror films which most of the time you are watching. A score of 8/10 for these. Total Average = 7.6 Well, i can see the developers really tried their best in making this game. Its not perfect, but its far from being a dissapointment. They did a good job of hiring a renowned indie horror director to put life into the game and got real actors to perform their characters both in voice and motion which puts realism in the game. The gore are damn cringy and would not recommend eating while playing these game. A good, short but satisfying experience overall.

The Order: 18865
Oct 14, 2016
Story/Campaign - Well, one word to describe this game. DISSAPOINTING. The story isnt bad, its actually is good and could be great if only the idiots Ready at Dawn made an actual full story of the game and not an obvious sequel bait. No questions were answered nor closure was felt by me even in the end. Freaking stupid to make that kind of move. The game SHOULD just be a DLC due to its short campaign, you could easily finish the game in 2-3 hours if its not for the long and many cutscenes and QTE moments of the game. There isnt even any other modes to play in the game after you finish the campaign which makes it worthless if you dont intend to replay the campaign, no multiplayer both online or offline or challenge mode or etc. Collectibles are useless and doesnt really show you anything that is relevant for its story. Though its not all that bad though, the characters of the game are all good and interesting, their voice acting are great, and everyone has their unique personality to make them memorable for the gamers. However, you were not given enough time to understand them more due to its short campaign. This part deserves a 3/10 score. Gameplay - The game is a interactive game with third person shooter gameplay. Its shoot and cover based mechanic despite being basic and ordinary is actually good and the melee fights are actually interesting, though the QTE segment of the game really dissolves its challenge and fun aspect. Every QTE are easy and very dissapointing that was the mechanic used and recycled in all its few boss fights. Should've been better to focus more to being a shooter game than the interactive part. The guns are good and very detailed. Another dissapointing performance by the game which desrves another 3/10 Graphics - The graphics on the other hand ARE A MASTERPIECE. The game looks like a film even when you are not in the cutscenes. Its beautiful, detailed and no words can really describe how beautiful the graphics of this game was but MASTERPIECE. A score of 10/10 for this. Sound - As to its music though, i cannot recall a good music from this game nor even remembered them. The sound of the guns exlosions and electricity are good though, does that count?? A score of 3/10 for these. Total = 4.75 First of all, I really wanted this game to be successful and i really saw that Ready at Dawn put effort in making this game because of how beautiful its graphics and environment are. However, It really showed that preferring graphics over gameplay and story results in a dissapointing game. The game shows potential to be great but its developers are overconfident that this would sell despite having a very short and not including a multiplayer in the game causing it to have almost no content. Damn, I doubt sony would make a sequel for this series considering how poor this game was. Too bad this game died before it was even born.

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos4
Oct 14, 2016
Story/Campaign - Storyline-wise for the **** is awful and sooooo short. Its story continues from the ending of onechanbara z Kagura and introduces a new enemy of which the 4 lovely and sexy ladies need to team up despite their rivalries to defeat. Really, that is just the storyline, no climax, no interesting parts, Just that. Its cutscenes usually revolves on the light and playful side and interactions between the heroines and until the end, nothing really happened but you defeated the final boss and saved the world from another zombie apocalypse. Although on the positive note, atleast its campaign feels more alive than the previous game because of the more number of heroines, some of their interactions are sometimes fun, weird but interesting. The extra mission mode can use up a part of your experience but nothing really was a challenged also for me. A score of 2/10 for this. Gameplay - Now this is where the game really stands out. In an era where hack and slash and beat-em up games are dying, this game really showed that this gameplay can still perform smoothly and can be still be better in this age. Its fast paced gameplay action is smooth, unique, cool and the combinations and attacks of each heroines are both unique and distinct from each other and you won't get tired of it i assure you especially the cross combinations where all 4 of the heroines will be on the screen hitting everyone. My main problem though is that the AI are all dumb and weak, it includes the bosses too except to notable bosses, nothing really was challenging nor gave me a hard time the whole campaign even in the hardest difficulty. A score of 7/10 will suffice for this. Graphics - The character design of each characters in the game are great. They all look pretty, juicy and damn all so sexy. Its pretty obvious what type of fan base the developers wants to get from the game. I dont mind though, Im a guy, We all like sexy boobs and ass since they are treasures worth looking. However, the biggest problem for in this is the environment, they all look like PS2 graphics at its max. It is bad even in the ps3/xbox360 gen. The laziness of the devs really showed in this part. This deserves a 3/10 score. Sound - The music of this game are all catchy and good. However, Its just a mix of random music and nothing really fits the whole story or campaign, even the theme of the characters isnt fitting for their themes.I dont mind though since like i said, Its catchy and good for the ears due to its playful tones. A score of 5/10 for these. Total Average = 4.3 Onechanbara Z2: Chaos uses sexuality as its main strength to maintain its fanbase and as a guy, it really works. Its not a real problem for me but i do hope he devs atleast try to do better to improve its weakness, the game has no plot and bad bad bad graphics and due to this the game tends to be unremarkable despite its good gameplay of which can still be improved. The devs should show they are not just nerds who likes asses and boobs but that they can put on a show to showcase their game in a better and more interesting manner. A bad game for me overall due to its big flaws, it shows that using sexuality in a game alone wont be enough to make it good.

Alien: Isolation8
Oct 13, 2016
Story/Campaign - These are the words to describe the two halves of the game, first half = TERRIFYING, INTENSE AND NERVE-WRACKING, the titular "alien" of the game the xenomorph is the worst nightmare you will encounter in the game. Its AI is so advanced he will adapt to where you usually hide, where you go and what you do damn sometimes he can even show he is better than you though sometimes too it is very questionable and a head scratcher how he could teleport from one place to another (Hard mode). Still though, a memorable and awesome horror experience will come your way. As for the next half = BORING AND ANNOYING, this is the part where you will fight a new enemy, the working joe who isnt a one hit kill to you unlike the alien and this is the part where the game becomes a semi shooter/melee gameplay if you dont prefer to use stealth. Nothing was interesting and the game becomes slow and boring in this part. As to the last moments though, the only thing i will say on this is that the game suddenly throws EVERYTHING AT YOU. As for the story and characters, the protagonist Amanda is the daughter of Ellen Ripley (you know who that is if you are a fan of the alien series) and the story revolves of Amanda going to Sevastopool to look for the flight recorder left by her mother. The story is your typical survival horror game. The supporting cast overall are forgettable and uninteresting, nothing really reason given for you to care for them. Ill give them a good score of 7/10 for this. Gamplay - Really, the gameplay of this game is good. despite it being your typical fps stealth game. The real strength of this game are its enemies especially the xenomorph, It is one of the best if not THE BEST AND MOST ADVANCED AI i have ever encountered in my gaming life. He will adapt, hide, corner you and trap you if you arent careful and **** working joes on the other hand despite being dumb moving blocks are however, relentless and hard to kill. The humans in the game are just your typical mobs in every game, whoot you when they see you and hit you when you are close. Another good score of 8/10. Graphics - Everything in this game from the environment to the detail of the characters are on spot. I love the smoke that comes out in every corridor you passed through, the paintings and blood on the walls and the lighting of the game. The character design are good and kinda realistic though i have a problem in their facial expression being expressionless and looks no life. A score of another 8/10 for me. Sound - Well, the soundtrack are DAMN SCARY. It really fits the game perfectly and will really race the beat of your heart in those moments where the alien is around the corner or is chasing you or in those timed events where you will do puzzles. Its music and soundtrack really is the main reason of terrifying you. A score of 9/10 for me. Total Average = 8.1 Personally, this game is the best horror game in the current generation we have, nothing really was much scarier and intense like what this game did to me. I was really dissapointed on how the gaming reviews like ign and gamespot gave this game bad grades for "being hard" and "too advanced AI" which really destroyed this game financially. I really hope a sequel and more improvements will be done on this game. Thanks.

inFamous: Second Son7
Oct 13, 2016
Story - As a gamer who played the first two of the series. The story of this game is worst compared to the previous titles. In fact, it is very ordinary, short and nothing really in the whole campaign felt as unique and everything is predictable. It just shows the aftermath of Cole's actions from Infamous 2 and revolves around the discrimination felt by the surviving "bioterrorist" in the world. As to the characters, All in all, It is BAD, Delsin is not that interesting and has a lot of corny and annoying jokes, his evil persona is so out of place and a try-hard to be "evil" while it is very obvious that his good path is his true personality. As a conclusion, he is not a good new protagonist to change Cole. The supporting cast however are much more interesting esp that guy who likes videogames (avoiding spoilers). Ill give this aspect a score of 6/10. Gameplay - The positives, the gameplay is so smooth and has little to no bugs or glitch whatsoever. Delsin has not only one but FOUR different powers in the game which is divisive and useful in many and different situations and battles in the game. The negative side however is the small number of skills and scope of Delsins power in the game. Every power has their own version of R1 and L1s and glide and dashes and nothing really distinguishes a power from another power other than how they look. Its should have been better if they just made more skills available for us. An okay score of 8 to me. Graphics - Now this is the part where this game lives up to the hype. The game is SOOOO GORGEOUS AND SO SMOOTH. One of the best graphics of the game in the year it was released. No graphical issues, lags or frame rate drops are occuring anywhere despite a lot of explosions appearing on screen. The facial expression of every character from the movement of their eyes to their movement of their lips and cheeks are all detailed and almost realistic. The motion acting of every character is smooth and the cutscenes are like watching a film. A score of 10/10 deserves such effort by Insomniac Games. Soundtrack and Sound - Voice acting is top notched. You have Troy Baker who tbh, the only reason why Delsin is not a failure of a protagonist. The guy's voice acting is awesome. Every actor and actresses in the game really put their best in order to put life to every character they did and I LOVE IT. As to the soundtrack however, personally, I never really liked the punk style hardcore music, Its not really my thing and it didnt really fit to the storyline the game wants you to feel. A score of 6 for this. Total Average = 7.5 This is a game which continues one of the better series from Playstation's exclusives and this game is the worst of the 3 games in its series. The protagonist is weak, overall cast are weak also, the story is average, the powers are many but nothing really was interesting and the overall campaign felt normal and nothing really memorable happened. All in all, despite the great graphics and smooth gameplay, every other thing felt ordinary if not dissapointing. Dont get me wrong, if it is a stand alone game or a new ip it would be better but it being a successor to its succesful predecessors would also be the reason of its criticism. That is all. Thank you.

Story - The main plot of the story was average and was very predictable except that part which is related to the protagonists at the final moments of the game. The side stories or side cases was alright and could actually take your interest a short time. The protagonist however and his sidekick kid is poor for me due to the fact that the protagonist was made to be a very try hard to be a bad ass by the devs and the kid an obvious Elie rip-off from TLOU. All of the characters in game are forgettable and nothing really unique was made to get the players interest. A score of 5 will suffice. Gamplay - Does this game even have gameplay? personally, ALMOST NONE. You spend majority of your time walking and running and looking at half made ghost objects around the whole world of Salem. The powers you obtain are somewhat useful in some aspects but really, this gameplay is so bad. The fight with demons are so few and their AI are bunch of idiots. I dont really understand why'd a developer would release a game with this walking simulator like gameplay with an average and predictable if not bad story. The puzzles or the clues of various crime scenes are so obvious you will look stupid if you dont managed even solve it in your first try. Hell, making a mistake multiple times wont even give you any consequences. A bad bad bad gameplay for me. My worst score of 1 (I dont give 0s nor 10s since i believe there is no perfect game and there is also no perfect bad game). Graphics and Sound - Hm. Graphics are so last gen and the PS4/xbox one version was not that different nor improved from the PS3/xbox 360 version. The soundtrack was ok however few was used actually in game and the overall experience was like a lifeless journey to the end. Dissapointing. Ill give this game a score of 2 on the graphics and 5 on the soundtrack. Total average = 3.25 Really, the game was dissapointing, the story was average and predictable, graphics is for last gen and the overall experience was forgettable and if i would say so i prefer to forget that i actually played this game and wasted that precious time of my life. Damn.

Story and Campaign - As an RPG game, It is very short as to what an average rpg games length should have. You can easily finish it in 12 hours if you speedrun the game. So in terms of longevity, It miserable fails. As to the story however, the game really did put an interesting plotline in which the hero gets possessed by a demon which is the last hope of humanity to beat the antagonist/s but was also a letdown because of the short campaign and in effect, the story was obviously rushed nonsense at times. The positive note on the game though is the moral system that even though its not on par with bioware games or the witcher series, the game still did an ok job in its decision based options and you can actually see its effect when the story advances esp in the physical aspect of the protagonist. All in all, ill give it a score of 6. Gameplay - It is POOR so POOR! The attack animations are awkward and ugly including the magics, the enemies are unbalanced and sometimes ridiculously overpowered with that stupid bug of them healing in FULL HEALTH when you got out their aggro range whether intentionaly or not. However, despite the ranting i gave its gameplay, you as a gamer may consider it as a challenge also and not ot boast, the fighting mechanics is kinda ok despite its ugliness when you actually get used to its style. Still though, as an overall, They should really improve on this aspect. A poor score of 3 for this. Soundtrack - Now this is the only game's strength. Olivier Derivieve, a composer who has garnered multiple awards from its soundtrack from multiple games and obviously this games music and songs are one of the bests also. From the epic gong to the soothing voice of a lady. The sound really put life in this game's dead and lifeless world. A score of 9 would be deserving for this. Graphics - considering that it was released in PS3 also, i was expecting much improvement in the PS4. However, nothing was really noticeable between the two other than the lighting, but thats it, the graphics looks the same and even the characters and the environments. A bad port and lazy effort from the devs for me. A score of 2. Total average = 5 I understand the spiders had only a low budget from this game. However, they were hyping this game up prior to its release and what we got from the final product was a poor comparison to those teasers/trailers. They should learn from this and know that if they would want to be known as a great RPG makers then maybe they should take notes on how campaigns whould be longer and how gameplay aspects be better. That is all Thank you.

Story - Nothing really was given to you as a player regarding the plot. I LIKE IT. Everything is open to interpretation and you as a player, is very open to state on what you see and believe. Graphics was very good for its artistic style. A good 9/10 for me. Gameplay - Well, I could say as a 2D puzzle platform. This game nailed it perfectly! The game does not show you clues as for the puzzles unless you actually burn your eyebrows to solve them all. Despite the campaign being short, the puzzles would give you more hours depending on how long you perform or solve them. Another good 9/10 for me. Total = 9 Playdead's follow up to the critically accalaimed limbo never dissapoint, in fact, it is the better in the too because it has better graphics, better gameplay, just better all around. Never did i feel all that happy in a 2D platform game that what Inside did to me. Its just a memorable and somewhat freaky experience. And despite it being an Indie game, I feel like it would stand its ground as a GOTY contender and maybe one of the few game who could go toe-to-toe with Uncharted 4 (Face it Sony Ponies, Its that good).

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End9

Story - Damn. Naughty Dog at it again releasing an epic masterpiece. You could make a movie out of this game and it would still sell millions in that type of industry. Well, to be serious, as a player who played the first 3 games of the series, this game is the perfect ending you could ever give to the legendary Nathan Drake on his adventuring games. The perfect formula to do it? Well just let him team up with his long lost older brother Sam and have them start and adventure to find the treasure they dream of getting in their childhood days. The campaign gives you a very good pace of how the story moves, from the prologue's adrenaline rush chasing to the end's somewhat relaxing and laid back tone. All in all, The guys who made The Last of Us also made another Masterpiece in Naughty Dogs. A 10/10 for sure in this aspect. Gameplay - The game borrowed some elements from the Tomb raider series using that rope mechanic in platforming. However. Its not that really bad since the game used it in very complex areas of the game. The gameplay of the series gives you a perfect blend of various and different gameplays we all gamers experienced and played like the game Signature platforming where we accustomed to see how Drake's athleticism easily get by those many traps, there is also a shooter based mechanic, a melee combat which obviously borrowed from TLOU, Stealth, chasing sequences and exploration. As a gamer, its really nice to enjoy all that in a single game. A good 10/10 again for me. Multiplayer - Now for me, I think Naughty Dog just put this in here so that you know, Gamers can have multiplayer in the game. Its not bad though tbh, But its not that good either. The modes could get funny sometimes and interesting but the single player campaign really is the strength of the game. An ok 8/10 for me. Total = 9 Sorry. Its my principle to never give a perfect score. There are no perfect games for me. Everything has a weakness even how small. Regardless, An obvious GOTY contender of the year if not THE Leading of the pack for that award. A memorable and epic experience was given to us by Naughty Dog for an ending of a beloved franchise. Its bittersweet to see this game gave its final sprint but forever in my heart will Drake's legacy will stay. Remember..."Sic Parvis Magna"

Gears of War 48

Story - The campaign is too average for me and nothing really was surprising and exciting except the last part where you use the ROBOTS!! Damn good! Story-wise is so dissapointing since no questioned where answered and nothing really happened in the main campaign other than reintroducing the old characters post GOW3 and introducing the new protagonist. The main guy JD isnt as cool and charismatic than his pop the legendary Markus Fenix and looks like a rip-off nathan drake wannabe of their rival exclusive U4. Its campaign and storyline is a 6 for me at most. Gameplay - First of all, GOW4 is still THE best 3rd person shooter in the gaming industry. However, nothing new was implemented gameplay-wise and it is still your typical 3rd person cover based shooting. Yeah, I know they're still the best, but becoming stale at that style never really helped and as a fan of the series, nothing exciting came out. The new guns are a plus though. Ill give them a score of 8 in here. Multiplayer - Now for the game's main strength, first and foremost. THANK YOU FOR THE **** SPLIT SCREEN!!! I miss the old days when you can play with your pals in your own house and just enjoy the fan, Next the modes are all good and interesting, especially the famous and fan-favorite HORDE MODE! This aspect is obviously a 10 for me. Total = 8 I know the saying "Don't fix what's not broken" and tbh, coalition's decision not to over complicate GOW4 compared to what 343 did to the Halo series is much better. However, doing no such risks alsp makes a game stale and lackluster considering this series has had 4 games in its belt and obviously, the gamers, both the casuals and fanatics will someday feel bored cause of the same mechanics all over again. Regardless, GOW4 is a recomended buy for the fans of the franchise if you prefer the old school gears style of game. It is also welcoming to new players. PS to those Ponies : Stop putting zeroes in the game and at least try to play it. Its a good game and totally worth your time. Play the PC version if you dont like xbone. PS to those Xboners : Just admit the game is not better than U4, Its not even better the previous gears game in terms of epicness. Its not close considering Coalition isnt even near Naughty Dogs legacy in the gaming industry.

Im gonna be somewhat nice and put a 1 to this game but damn. Keiji Inafune has been a letdown lately, first it was mighty no.9, now another garbage **** has come out of the market. Guy is becoming a digrace. Low budget or no. You should not release game with a lot of technical issues, bugs and long loading time. The start was ok and light hearted fun, but becomes too repititive its becoming annoying than me actually having fun. Please Inafune, if you would just direct games like this in the future then please just get out of gaming and stop putting garbage games in the gaming market!! damn it

The game ok to me. Not good nor bad. Game is obviously inspired of the Dark souls series (of which i am a big fan of) and borrows heavily from it. Now, the pros, the game is HARD, that kind of in a good way, like a good challenge worth to try and beat. Not Dark soul like challenge but more challenging than most of games today. Next up, I like its heavier style of dark souls gameplay, Harkyn moves like a giant when in heavy or medium weight and the hits of steels and hammers when you hit your enemies are satisfying and its sound is very great and painful. Lastly, the only thing that this game had that dark souls never had is its experience system, the more you kill, the bigger your XP mutiplier will become and resting in a chekpoint would reset that multiplier. it gives me the feeling that i want to kill more without using my stored XP for more experiences and also another challenge that is worth to take on. As to the cons, Game is so short. yep, you could finish it in a day or in a few hours. Next up, the characters NPCs are not memorable, hell you could even forget them seconds after you talk to them, even the protagonist, whom the developers wanted to be like a kratos-like figure is so boring and unremarkable. They should improve on that part. Lastly, the thing that dark souls have that this game doesnt: The Bosses, all the boss of this games are easy to beat. SO EASY, i only died in one boss. AND THATS THE DLC BOSS WHICH IS A CHEAP ASS MF (F*ck you KEEPER)...thats that. Thanks

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor8
Jul 26, 2016
Another GOTY worthy of 2014. This game for is the dark horse of that year. Nobody knew or bothered with this game until it came out and boom!! Most of the gamers loved the game. As for my review, first the pros, the dead like environment is very good and places nicely on the game, the gameplay is smooth and the enemy AI is top notch that they can think for themselves if left alone and finally, the pride of the game: The Nemesis System, the way you control the orc army, who you brand, who you want to start a riot and much more things to be creative of. However, like all, every game had its cons too. First, I know it fits nicely with the game and became original with nemesis system, but the majority of its gameplay is just borrowed content with assasin's creed and arkham series. Its like the poor mans version of both of the mentioned games. Next con. Is it mediocre plot and main character. I dont care about him nor did i care about both of them and the plot is so cliche that i find myself more interested to the lore in the collectibles than in the game. Next is its BAD BOSS BATTLE, and when i mean BAD, ITS THE WORST. No memorable boss fight, the most badass character of tolkien chronicles (sauron) did just a cameo in the final battle. damn, they should be embarassed they even bother putting garbage in the final fight. Lastly and worst for me is that THE WHOLE MAIN STORY IS JUST A FREAKING TUTORIAL. You only get the most interesting part of its game in the middle of the second half of the story and there'll be little to no content to experiment and enjoy that gameplay. Regardless, despite the having flaws and issues, for being a published game, It is still THE best Tolkien Chronicles game that has ever released in the gaming world. Hope they do better in its next installment. Ill be waiting and keep supporting them.

Dragon Age: Inquisition9

Deserves to be THE GOTY of 2014! I dont understand why people just love to give unfair hate on games. Great environment, graphics, gameplay, soundtrack and the characters of this game are all interesting and attractive in their own way (esp. Cassandra, her voice actress sounds hot).Though the game has its flaws (all game are, there are no perfect game), like its mediocre plot and majority of the game (80%-85%) are all optional and it being a semi-open world game and lack of day to night cycle. Regardless, I like how the different areas feel a lot different with each others which shows its diversity, you get to a forest like map to a swamp like area then a vast desert style environment to the ice filled area torn by continous battle. With regards to its content being optional, yeah, its optional but damn LARGE if you try to achieve them all that you will lose 100+ hours of you life. All in all, this game is great and is one of the two best games of the year (shadow of mordor is the other) that deserves the credit they get. I hope bioware learns again and try to give us a better and more GOTY worthy game in dragon age 4. Salute to them!
