In the words of Bojack Horseman; this ain't casablanca. However is a serviceable good time. The awkwardness and almost overt set-up seems to tip its hand on the major twist, but its a worthwhile watch for horror/thriller fans
It's not James Gunn's best superhero film; that honor still goes to Suicide Squad, in my opinion. However, this is my favorite take on Superman since growing up watching Smallville.
Good-ish performances in a unique morality play get weighed down by a lack of twists and a plodding storyline that seems to moralize all of the Black Jurors looking to wield 'justice' selfishly while disregarding the weakness of the case at hand. Meanwhile, the main White Jurors oscillate between saviors of justice and saviors of their interests.
